i am unable to edit pdf forms . on clicking on the form text field error message comes as "font capture" message heading and content as
"C:\Windows\system32/ATMLIB.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support."
if pressed ok . aplication get closed
i reinstalled all aplication with old versions but sill have the same error .please give a solution . thank you.

thank you for the suggestion, but I do not have a "Send Email" or "Submit" button available in my version. I have "Attach to email" option which automatically opens a new message in MS outlook (which I did not set up, it just started doing so automatically) without any further dialogue boxes or options.
Also, this is only for regular PDF files, not forms.

I've created a PDF in Adobe Acrobat Pro that requires information to be filled out in boxes as well as signatures to complete the form. I've tested the form on different computers that bring it up in Adobe Reader. I'm trying to make them compatible. My Security options on Pro for the document show that everything is allowed (printing, changing the document, signing, etc.) but when it is opened up in Reader it shows most of those as Not Allowed. I need to change that but I'm not sure how. I need the form to be compatible for Reader so that others can fill out the information needed and then submit via email back to me. You can enable certain features in Reader, such as digitally signing and saving, by Reader-enabling the document in Acrobat. Exactly how you do this depends on what version of Acrobat you're using:
A9: Advanced > Extend Features in Adobe Reader
A10: File > Save As > Reader Extended PDF > Enable Additional Features
A11: File > Save as Other > Reader Extended PDF > Enable More Tools (includes form fill-in & save)

Acrobat XI is not distributed with Designer. Designer is now a separate product. You can create forms in Acrobat as an AcroForm or using Forms Central (an online forms program). You can print the form to a new PDF and then recreate the fields in Acrobat using the recognize form fields. You will likely have to fix the form fields, but that would be the process. Generally, once a form is taken to Designer, you can't bring it back without such steps.
Designer is available with AA8 - AAX, but since is a separate product as I indicated.

What Nexus 7 version do you have as there was a 2012 and a 2013 model. A easy way to tell if it is a 2013 is it has a camera on each '''back''' and front while 2012 only has one on front.
If it is the 2012 then it has a Nvidia Tegra 3 so the old Flash 11.1 Plugin is disabled.

I cannot print a PDF from Adobe Acrobat Pro or Adobe Reader. I tried on both MacBook Pros we have here, both now with Mavericks. Error message says "Opening printer connection failed. Unable to open printer connection . . . " This is after it says sending data, printing, shows the percentages etc., but then at the end I get the error message above. I can print a PDF (same one) from Preview, but not from Acrobat! What's going on? Never had this issue before Mavericks . . . Please help.

Adobe Acrobat 8 with the Original DVD.
Adobe Reader X1 downloaded off Adobes site.
Both versions of adobe close after 10 seconds or so once I open a PDF file. I started having this problem about 2 weeks ago. Everything else if fine with the computer
I have run various virus scans. Haven’t found any issue.

Distiller 9 is a part of Acrobat 9. Acrobat 9 and Reader X can co-exist on the same machine. Unless you're having a problem, there's nothing wrong with having them both installed together.

If you are making for professional publishing, Acrobat Pro contains print production tools.
However, be aware that YOU DO NOT LAY OUT DOCUMENTS OR MAKE BOOKS IN ACROBAT. Sorry to be emphatic, but some people have received the view that it replaces Word, InDesign, Publisher or whatever. It doesn't.

What is the difference between purchasing Adobe Acrobat Pro and subscribing to Adobe Create PDF? Can either of these be used / installed on more than 1 computer?

Acrobat is a much more feature-rich application than the CreatePDF service.
CreatePDF is a web-based service that can be used for, as the name implies, creating PDF files from virtually any format. You also get the ability to convert existing PDF files to Word, Excel, or Powerpoint files.
The EULA for Acrobat states that you can install a single license of Acrobat on up to 2 computers. The implication being that these are both your computers and that Acrobat is licensed to you, individually.
The CreatePDF service can be accessed from virtually any computer that's hooked up to the internet. Your subscription though is limited to your personal use.

Acrobat Pro as Default PDF Reader

How can I make Acrobat Pro my default PDF reader, I am using a Mac and whenever I open a pdf it opens it in the Mac OS's 'Preview' software instead of Acrobat Pro

Select any PDF, Ctrl + click on "Mac", and select Adobe Reader under "Open With" option. Once the PDF opens with Reader, you will see an option to set it as default application to open PDF.

Unable to edit the form in Personal Change Request

Hi,
One of the manager is trying to edit the employees information. When he navigates to edit form of personal change request, under My Crew tab of Manager Self Service in portal, unable to edit the information but he is able to add notes. in the form.
In detail, the manager is trying to assign new manager to an employee under him(moving an employee to differen team headed by different manager so trying to replace his name in the employee's informaton). The manage is unable to change the information or unable to edit any information in the form "request for change in position/transfer"
Could someone help me on this.

Hi,
The issue is resolved. This is because of Acrobat JavaScript option disabled in display preferences of the form.
Once this checkbox is enabled its working fine.
