Unable to Email Report

Dear All,
In my previous mail system I was able to email the report (destination type=mail) using run_report_object_proc procedure. Recently my company has deployed exchange 2010 mail system.
For this reason I have modified my rwserver.conf file with the following value:

The report server has been successfully started up but the report is not emailing and providing the following error:
REP-50159: Executed successfully but there were some errors when distribute the output
I think I am doing some mistake on reportserver.conf file configuration.
Please help me to solve this problem to email the report successfully.

Thank you for the info. . In SOST, the mail that I sent is specified as red. Error is No Valid Route from System.
I will check with my basis guy and get it resolved.

Variables in email reporting or quiz variables in captions for captivate 4?

I have been all around the forums without getting an exact answer to what I want to do. Perhaps there isn't one but, anyway...
I am trying to collect quiz information. I just want a simple collection of data that shows that someone has completed the quiz, which just a set of multiple response statements, and who that someone is. I have started by using Text Entry Boxes (TEB) to collect their name and assigned a variable (v_Name) to this to reuse the information in a certificate. So far so good and this works. I have set up email reporting on the quiz and, providing users actually hit the button and accept both messages, the email gets sent. All I am looking for in the email is that a user has completed the quiz. The score and results do not matter. Now, here comes the issue. I would like to record the user's name (v_Name) in the quiz results that are emailed in. No matter how many reporting options or marks I give the TEB or what options for reporting I select the information will not appear in the emailed report. I can set up a question slide to ask for the name and this will appear in my emailed report but will not appear in my certificate.
Any ideas?
I have tried to play around with padMail in the resulting HTML to try and draw out the variables but had no luck (I am a JavaScript novice).
Is there a way of emailing a slide view? Or a widget to do this (I have been unable to find one).
LMS is not a solution at the moment and upgrading is unlikely to happen as I am still trying to get all Captivate users in the office up to 4 from 3!
Is it possible to take a quiz answer and use it like a TEB variable and put it into another slide via a caption? E.G., $$Interaction1234$$ or some action script to make v_Name = interaction1234?
I am looking for a simple solution. I have looked into all of the post to database articles and they have been somewhat helpful but I am only trying to capture simple data so as the users can just be ticked off as having completed it.
I am not holding out much hope. It seems quizzing in Captivate is good for self-assessment and to provide branching but the reporting feature is a bit of a failure.

Email reporting has so many potential failure points that (in my opinion) it has to be considered one of those reporting options that you only use as a last resort when nothing else is open to you. LMS reporting is by far the best way to go, but that's just not an option for many people. Adobe kindly provided External Server Reporting as an option in Captivate 5, but that also requires access to a server running PHP and at least some technical exoertise.
In your case, the only things I can suggest trying are to make sure your publish folder location has been added to Flash Player Global Security as a trusted location, or to upload your published project files to a web server and test from there. Sometimes this email reporting issue turns out to be Flash security related.
The email reporting widget is definitely worth a shot and is very inexpensive when you consider how many hours you can spend trying to chase down these issues.
In the end, if you get email reporting to work reliably, consider yourself one of the lucky few.

REP-0081 error when emailing report output

I am using RUN_REPORT_OBJECT to execute a report from a form. I have the report set up as a Report object in the form. The report runs fine to screen or to file, but I am getting an error when attempting to email report in batch mode:
REP-0081: Error during file I/O operation.
REP-0110: Unable to open file 'mpa02448.pdf'.

I am able to send email to the same address via UTL_SMTP directly from the form, so it is not an email handler problem.
Any ideas?

I have verified the latest patches.
Addresses are indeed in Windows address book.
As far as verifying permissions on the file, the file does not exist. It would appear that the error is generated when creating the PDF file, before emailing occurs. Again, however, I do not have problems writing to file directly.
Is there a default directory used when emailing report for file creation? Perhaps the permissions on that directory need to be changed. Please advise.

Does someone knows how to avoid the message "Unable to create report. Query produced too many results" in Grid Report Type in PerformancePoint 2010. When the mdx query returns large amount of data, this message appears. Is there a way to get all
the large amount in the grid anyway?
I have set the data Source query time-out under Central Administration - Manager Service applications - PerformancePoint Service Application - PerformancePoint Service Application Settings at 3600 seconds.

Unable to launch Report Builder 3.0

I am running Reporting Services 2012 in Sharepoint integrated mode. I'm using Sharepoint 2010. My server is located in the US. Both my overseas and US users are unable to launch Report Builder but the errors are different.

Thank you for providing so much detail about the issue you are experiencing with emailing photos from the Camera Roll.
The first thing I recommend is quitting and relaunching the applications on your iPhone:
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.

If you are still seeing the same issue after quitting and relaunching the Photos and Camera app, I recommend restarting your phone and then resetting if it's still not working:

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Note: Reset your device only if you are unable to restart it.

Unable to load Reports on Web

We are working with Developer6.0,OAS 4.0.7,
Oracle 8.0.
We have a static implementation. Initially,
we had Jinitiator 1.1.7.11. Reports were working fine. Later, We upgraded Jinitiator to 1.1.7.18. From then on I am unable to load reports on the web.

Unable to load report error

Hi
This started with an asp.net application which I have been maintaining for several years, on an XP 32-bits box. Alas, the box died, and I have acquired a new Development machine, now with Windows 7/64-bits. I have installed Visual Studio 2010 and Crystal reports (13.0.,9), including runtime for 32 and 64 bits.
I got the "unable to load report" error, and I think I have tried everything I could find on the web related to solving this issue.
Finally I got Down to creating a new dummy asp.net application with a dummy report just displying the text TEST. This report Works fine when run from within VS, but if I deploy it to the web server on the Development machine I also get the unable to load report failure.
I believe this is a configuration issue. The application has run fine for years, I just can't get it to Work on the new development machine.

FRM-41214 unable to run report

Hi,
i'm trying in this days to migrate my software from 6i to 9i....
Particularly i had some problems when i try to launch a report from my form...
The form had migrated from Oracle 6i and it seems that it hasn't any type of problem but when i try to call a report from the web i obtain the error FRM-41214 (unable to run report)
but this report is correctly positioned in the right path and when i use a different report of a different project (compiled for the 9i) i note that the error occurs when i use one of my group obtained from my queries like source for a new repeating frame.....
Exactly until when i use one of the old groups of the old report it's all right but when i try to use a new group referred to a my new query i obtain the precedent error
(FRM-41214, unable to run report)
But i don't have any type of error when i compile...
Can anyone help me? Some one can tell me what can i do or some one can indicate me same document where i can read all the step to migrate a report??

Unable to open reports with Web intelligence

Hi there,
We are unable to open reports using Webi Intelligence. Error of "Session is closed(Error: INF)" apears.
I have restarted the SIA and Apache services with no luck.
Version : Business Objects XI3, Edge Series professional

Try changing the idle connection timeout on your Web Intelligence Processing Server to 60 minutes (from the CMC).
If this doesn't work, please add a trace to the Web Intelligence Processing Server (add a -trace to the command line parameters of the server). and post the log for the relevant time period.

Unable to call report from forms-oracle9iDS.

i created a report in reports 9i and calling the same
from a form created in 9i,i am calling from a push button having following code in it..,

while clicking this button i am getting the following messsage "frm-41214:unable to run report".
steps followed
1.Created a report by name myreport1.rdf
2.attached the myreport1.rdf in the reports node of the forms browser.
3.Created a reports server by name "repserver"using
rwserver repserver -install autostart=yes
4.report_path is checked for the path where my report is residing.
5.added a string value in regedit tns_admin='oracle_home\network\admin'
(**)6.in TNSNAMES.ORA I expect the error is here..,
how do i refer this repserver in TNSNAMES.ORA..,????
database server is in another node..,and report server is in my machine itself..,
please help me urgent..,i am trying hard for this for a long time...??

the Reports Server name doesn't need to be mentioned in teh TNSNAMES file anymore. This was required in Reports6i and before. Since Reports9i the architecture has changed and a Report Server can be accessed by its name in teh network. The problem that is reported can be due to uncompiled PLSQL in teh Reports rdf file. If you check the Reports queuemanager (on Windows) or using the Servlet command then you see the detailed error message. If you don't see any error message in teh queuemanager then the Reports module file wasn't found. Make sure that the Reports9i Server has access to this. The Reports9i Server Reports_Path is not set in the registry (as far as I know) but in one of its configuration files.
As a quick test - look for the Reports sample files and add your file to the same directory.

FRM-41214: Unable ro run report while calling a report from a form in 9iDS

Am in the process of migrating from Developer 6i client/server to Developer 9iDS on Windows 2000.
I have read through the various postings on this issue & have made changes accordingly. I also referred to the white paper on the Forms/Reports integration.
As I am trying to do a prototype, am compiling my forms/reports on my local machine & not on the apps. server.
I installed a report server on my local machine as,
rwserver -install 9irep
I have defined this as a NT service and it is up & running & so is my OC4J instance.
I have defined a reports object in my Form Builder & set Report Server=9irep,
Destype=Cache,
Execution mode=runtime
Communication_mode=synchronous.
I also removed the /security tag from the <report server>.conf file as suggested in the white paper. Also set the single sign-on to NO for the reports service.
I have replaced my run_product with the run_report_object built-in as follows.

I get an error message "FRM 41214: Unable to run report" right after the call to run_report_object.
Can someone please tell me where am going wrong with my run_report_object built-in? (I also need help writing my web.show document to point it to my local machine/folders).

Local OC4J is running.
I established a reports server "repserver90" as a service.
I created a report named "C:\TMP\TMP\test_report.rdf"
I created a form with a Reports object with properties:
Name: "EMP"
Filename: "C:\TMP\TMP\test_report.rdf"
Execution mode "Batch"
Communication mode "Sychronous"
Report Destination Type "Cache"
Report Destination Format "HTML"
Report Server "repserver90"

Unable to see report

I had one strange issue.Willbe greatful for some inputs.
User is using one report.He sees report in .NET application which fetches data from BW.The report is based on one BW query.
In BW query,we are using one characteristic SALES_ORG which has hierarchy SALES_HIER_2000 activated on it.User belongs to node 5000 in this hierarchy.We have a hierarchy node variable on this characteristic in Global filter area.This variable has a default value of 100 which is higher level node in SALES_HIER_2000 hierarchy.so when ever query is run,the variable is input with this top level node.But I think our user roles are built in a way,that users can see only their hierarchy nodes data.In our users case,he can see only 5000 hierarchy node data to which he belongs.
Then the hierarchy is changed to SALES_HIER_3000.My user now belongs to hierarchy node 8000 in this new hierarchy.So this new node 8000 is included in his role so he can continue seeing reports.Just to make a point here,this 8000 node also comes under higher level node 100 in new hierarchy as in old hierarchy.But the problem is,he is unable to see reports.
I noticed that in our query we are still using same hierarchy node variable.Do I need to create one new hierarchy node variable as we are using new hierarchy eventhough both old and new hierarchies are on same characteristic SALES_ORG.
Also,I noticed that in this old variable which we are still using,we have default value 100 from old hierarchy.Do I need to change this default value eventhough in new hierarchy also,100 is the higher node to which new user's node 8000 belongs to?..........
what can be the reason that my user is unable to see reports?Please advise.

Perhaps I was not clear in my original help message. When the report is run from within report builder, there is no footer in the report. However, when the same is run from the application, one footer is printed. How to change this footer is the problem.
