Unable to enable DTS NEO:PC - X-Fi - Windows 7 - SPDIF

I can enable DTS, but when I try to enable cinema or music mode it is grayed out.
Near the bottom it says "DTS Neo:PC does not support the selected sampling rate. click the Change button and select either 44 kHz or 48 kHz.
So I click on change, and the only sampling rate that is enabled is 48 kHz. ?
Any thoughts?

Hi All,
I am having this problem where i can not enable DTS (YTD ) in planning. When i was in the classic planning applicaiton, this feature is enable and I have YTD and MTD enabled. But after my upgrade MTD is enabled but my YTD is not. The check boxes for me to enable DTS are all grey out.
Does anyone had the problem before or any solution to the problems

Found the answer .... Go To dimension library , right click on perion and select dts manager

Perhaps I should rephrase for you. The Audigy 2 ZS decoder does not properly support DTS 5. surround music. I have listened to numerous DTS music discs via the Audigy 2 ZS decoder and MediaSource player and it either produces inferior distorted sound or simply static noise. Please do not take my word for it. Feel free to do a Google search and see how many unhappy Audigy 2 ZS users there are when trying to enjoy DTS music discs.
Now, here is the dismal part, as Creative Labs cries foul with Logitech?s external decoder, Logitech says the same regarding Creative?s decoder. Therefore, you have both companies pointing the finger at each other. As the Audigy 2 ZS fails to properly support DTS music, Logitech?s 5500 decoder does support DTS music to some extent. Though it is clear by the ?DTS? displayed on the LCD, the Logitech decoder has a problem with the tempo of DTS music. In other words, it plays the music too fast. It sounds as though the chipmunks are singing each song. I am told that DTS music is played at a rate different from a standard wave, or MP3. Again, it is clear that the music is in 5. surround because the sounds are emanating from all fi've speakers. Therefore, Logitech 5500 and Audigy 2 ZS owners have two options. Listen to DTS music discs in sub-par Audigy mode, or listen through Logitech's external decoder in 5. surround "chipmunk" mode. Undoubtedly, frustrating given the fact that I paid $500 for high quality listening.
The crux of this matter Jeremy is that there are untold links, forums, and complaints of users just like myself who are absolutely perplexed by this lingering problem. However, referencing the threads within your own website, surely tells a different story. Unfortunately, these problems continue. Let me ask you, does Creative Labs perform compatibility testing? 
I have scoured your website and wasted countless hours trying to ?enable? PROPER Audigy?s support for DTS music. Because there is no application within the Creative Labs suit that indicates the operation of DTS, I have no way of knowing that DTS is actually enabled. Therefore, I am forced to simply play it by ?ear. By listening by ear, I know that DTS is not functioning properly under the Audigy 2 ZS decoder. I have tried your MediaSource player, PowerDVD6, WinDVD6, NVIDIA DVD, Windows Media Player 0, and ensured that DTS Neo: 6 is enabled. Again, no dice with DTS under your product. Perhaps, we should focus on ?Quality DTS decoding? going forward. As you clearly believe, the Audigy 2 ZS supports DTS music, it does not. That is, to the extent that the user is embroiled in true DTS 5. surround.
Please prove me wrong, I beg you. Specifically, explain to me how and in what specific hardware and software configuration the Audigy 2 ZS utilizes DTS music in 5. surround. Feel free to link me to one of your step by steps that details how to enable DTS 5. surround sound music. If I am wrong, I will have no problem retracting or updating my statements. However, I have attempted every suggestion and procedure here and elsewhere with consistently awful results. To reiterate, my configuration is the Audigy 2 ZS with the latest software updates across the board. I have the Logitech 5500 5. speaker system and I am connected using the Digial Out on the back of the Audigy 2 ZS. Lastly, as your customer, I want YOU to figure out what is going on between the Logitech 5500 speakers and the Audigy 2 ZS. Creative Labs is a large enough company that they should be capable of addressing competitor?s products from a compatibility standpoint when used with the Audigy 2 ZS.

Unable to enable SPDIF??? X-Fi XtremeGamer (non-PRO) w/ Digital I/O Module

JUnable to enable SPDIF? X-Fi XtremeGamer (non-PRO) w/ Digital I/O Module? I recently purchased the Digital I/O module in order to use SPDIF Out on my X-Fi XtremeGamer in order to send audio to my 5. receiver via digital coax.
However after hooking up my Digital I/O module to the flexijack (the one with the red light) I am unable to enable SPDIF.
I read and followed the directions listed here:

The options that they tell you to set are simply are not there on my system.

Unable to enable in web services using direct cable from my router

LaserJet Pro printer is working. Unable to enable in web tab error message: Connection error. Check Internet connection.

DTS Neo PC Not Working!

Hi, I can't get DTS Neo Pc to work, i've tried the three console modes but it still don't work. it says it doesn't support the selected sampling rate (set to 24bit 48000 tried 6bit too)
i tried downloading the latest version of DTS connect pack from Creative but still the same.
I have the X-FI Titanium
using Dan-k Titanium installation disk
anyone else got this problem?
Edit: just installed the new console launcher beta and DTS connect has disappeared.

Uninstall old Creative apps as well as drivers. See page 19 in the user guide. Sort the programs and features list on "Publisher" to see all installed Creative apps. IIRC, the "What u Hear" slider, and associated balance sliders, control volume when the cinematic DDL or DTS encoder is selected but not when the PCM advanced feature is selected.

Unable to Enable Maintenance Mode

This is my new challenge. I am unable to enable the maintenance mode. Following is the error message taken from adadmin.log. At the same time when I issue the command to enable it, there is core dump in the alert log and this is what it says. Please help me troubleshoot this issue.

Yes, I was able to enable it from the backend;

Unable to enable DirectX effects (hangs at 92%!)

When I try to enable DirectX effects, Audition first refreshes the effects list. It does this fine until it gets to 92%, then it hangs, stopping at the same effect (JetAudio Sound Effector V3) each time. Audition is still running but nothing happens, it just doesn't go any further, and I have to force close the program.
Can anyone think of a way I can stop this one effect from loading? I searched but couldn't find any file with that file name.
I am unable to enable any of my DirectX effects. Thanks for any help.

Dodgy DirectX has always been a bit of a problem. Unlike VSTs, which are essentially DLLs that sit somewhere nice and sensible, and you can install and delete them easily, DirectX has to use an installer, and heaven only knows where it puts the appropriate files... although I understand that the real issue with removing them is that they end up as registry entries, and not necessarily straightforward ones either.
Probably the most useful thing I can suggest is that you look at this thread on the KVR forum, where there are a couple of suggestions.

I'm testing a portal application with workshop 8.1. When I started the .portal, I got this error "Unable to enable debugging. Verify that you webapp deployed correctly". If I choose to start without debugging it's OK.
The deployment was successfully done without error. Is there anything else I can check?

One of my concerns is that this change will update the .work file with some local values such as host name and port number, etc. For some reason we could not use a generic name such as "localhost" in our development. This causes a little problem since the .work file contains some hard coded parameters can not be shared amoung other developers.
Hopefully there is another better solution.

Unable to enable vt msi gt628

hello guys, I'm having the issue with my msi gt628 that I'm unable to enable virtualization in the bios. I updated the bios, but the updated version does not have any extra options and I need to be able to vitualize windows server 2008 x64 for school. Is there a better bios available or will I have to buy a new system?

Unable to enable Core Server

Following the documented steps to enable CIFS acceleration, but for some reason I am unable to enable the "enable core server" option (same applies to "edge server".
Am I missing something ?

Sijbren,
If you are using WAAS 4.1.x and using CIFS AO, you don't need core and edge services, just enable the AO for CIFS acceleration.
If you are using WAAS 4.0, then enable the CIFS edge/core services via the GUI. If you are using legacy mode in 4.1, then you need to have the CIFS AO disabled before you can enable the edge or core services. Once edge and core services are enabled, then you can create connectivity directives.
However, I recommend you use the transparent cifs acceleration in the new CIFS AO in 4.1, it's easier to setup and takes advantage of bi-directional acceleration.

Every once in a while I get a message 'Unable to enable debugging. Please verify

If you are working with multiple servers on the same machine, and have not
shutdown the debugger which was started for a different server, then you
could end up with this error message.
Please make sure that you use the stopweblogic script to shut down servers
in development mode. This script will make sure that both the server and the
debugger process are shutdown.
