Unable to eprint from Blackberry Bold.

I can eprint from my pc and my iphone but not from my BB...I have seen this question asked by many people...but no response from HP...what's up?

It may have something to do with the email server that you use with the Blackberry. It may be the same one that you use with the PC and iPhone. Try using a different server from the Blackberry and see if that works.

Migrating to Z10 from blackberry bold 9900

What is a nice simple step by step procedure for migrating my data from a blackberry bold to a Z10. I have spent hours wasting time with device switch. I also downloaded some stupid ap that doesn t seem to do anything. really shows why blackberry has not be successful. Simple stuff like this really turns people off.

While you may not value any information you've received from this forum, that's your problem and yea, mostly just a pissy attitude problem. Reviewing your posts in this forum, you've been given lots of information by myself and other highly knowledgeable and helpful users. Transfer all data from blackberry bold 9780 to iPhone 5

I have a iPhone 5 16 GB recently purchased, I need to transfer all data from the Black Berry Bold.
I need all contacts, documents, pics, E-Mail set-up etc. basically everything.
I need a seamless transition from one to the other. I have not even opened up the iPhone box yet.
Does anyone have a simple easy way to do this?
Only thing I have to work with is the iPad!
Was thinking of iCloud but have no Wi-Fi connection here.

If anyone is still struggling with this problem for the iphone 5 I just figured out how to fix it! it wasn’t easy because google sync doesn’t work on a blackberry anymore and outlook doesn’t help if you don’t got it so I had to go the long way and spend 2hrs of my time figuring it out while the actual solution only takes 5 mins!
So I downloaded an app called "Phone to Phone transfer" there’s other apps like this one but this is the only one that’s available on both blackberry and iOS so its the one I used and it worked, read: 3 steps to transfer all contacts from BlackBerry to iPhone 5
1) Download the app on your blackberry and sign-up for an account i used an email i barely use and its free so it was all quick and easy
2) Sync your contacts on your blackberry using the app
3) Download the same app this time on your iPhone and use the same log-in details as you used when you signed up on your blackberry
4) Sync contacts again and press download and... that’s it! all your contacts are now on your new iPhone.

Not directly, no, not that I've seen. You need to get the photos from your Blackberry into your computer. From there you can sync them to your iPad.

Wanting to switch from BlackBerry Bold to iPhone 4....HELP!!!

I have a BlackBerry Bold and after owning it for about a year, I'm starting to regret it. It's not meeting up to my expectations and I would like to switch to the iPhone 4. The only problem is that I have a two-year-contract and it doesn't expire until October of next year.
Is it possible to go into my local Verizon store and swap my BlackBerry for the iPhone before my contract ends? If it is possible, do I have to pay the full retail price for the iPhone or can I buy it for the two year contract price like I did with my BlackBerry?
Or am I stuck having to wait until next year when my contract expires to switch phones?

You'll have to wait until you become eligible to upgrade in October to get the discounted 2 year contract pricing for the iPhone 4. You do have some options, though.
1. You can purchase an iPhone 4 on Craigslist or eBay (or from a friend) and activate it on your line with no penalties. This will cost a lot more than the 2 year contract pricing, though.
2. If you're having issues with your BB, and are out of your 1 year warranty period but do NOT have insurance on it, you can look into Verizon's CPO program. http://support.vzw.com/information/cpo_replacement.html
3. If you are on a family plan with a line that is eligible to upgrade currently, you can use their upgrade to get the iPhone 4, and then let them use your upgrade when you become eligible (with their permission, of course)
4. Number 3 will also work with anyone willing to let you use their upgrade.

I can eprint from my desktop but NOT from Blackberry Bold.

I already changed my eprint address (per HP notice reccomending such change), to no avail. I get the following notice: "The reason for the problem: 5.3.0 - Other mail system problem 550-'5.7.1 Command rejected' What does tha mean ???? If I try to use Blackberry Apps I get this: "No last used printer so far" ???? My printer is an HP Photosmart D110A. Any ideas?

Enable wireless on your Blackberry device and connect to your wireless router. Then open browser in BB, open the email account and try sending the email.

What email client did you use (what is after the @ sign in the email address you sent from, and what was the document type?
I've never heard of a document printing the manner you describe. DId you try it a second time?

i use the notes section in my contacts extensively and as i am researching a move to an Phone or Android, want to find out the easiest way to transfer the notes section from the contacts. VZW is telling me they can only move the contacts and not the notes. Help!

How do i convert my data from a blackberry bold to an iphone?

I'm going to be migrating from Blackberry Bold to iPhone 4S and I need to know what will be involved to move all my data (contacts, calendar, etc.) to the iPhone.

You are going to need to be using a supported application to manage your calendar/contacts once you get to the iPhone. It is designed to work with a number of supported applications, and Outlook is one of them. It depends on the OS platform you are using. This allows you to sync the calendar/contacts to the computer and it will then provide a copy of them for you in case you ever have a problem with the iPhone. You can also sync them to iCloud after you get to the iPhone, but initially, you will need to use something to import the calendar/contacts to the computer for that first sync.

Can't eprint from exchange server email address

I am unable to eprint from my exchange server email address and I can print from other accounts such as @att.net aacounts. This problem has started in the last week. I have reinstalled the printer and varified the allowed address.
Any ideas?

I can't print from my blackberry bold to my Photosmart Premium C310a,

I tried to install the eprint app on my blackberry bold 9780 and i am unable to enter the eprint address of my printer, nor could i find my printer that is on the same wifi network. When i search for my printer on the same wireless network, it does not find it. When i search for printers i get all fed-ex locations, when i enter the address of my printer [email protected], i get an "invalid printer" error.
Did I install the wrong app? Is there a different free app to install. Is there a problem with my configuration. I can print from my apple iPad & iPhone, but i can't get the blackberry to print.
I am sure it's something simple that i am doing wronng..

I believe the app you installed is for printing to remote printers that are registered shares such as the Fed-ex stores.This feature is for printing on the go.
Not really sure if the Blackberry can print via your wireless network,you may need to use the email feature.Don't have A BB so just a best effort.

Blackberry Bold 9900 OS software update from version 7.0.0 to version 7.1.0

I tried to upgrade my Blackberry Bold 9900 device software from version 7.0.0 to version 7.1.0 but having difficulties. I tried using the Blackberry Desktop Manager but there was no version 7.1.0 listed among the available updates. Even when I tried to do it directly via the Blackberry official website, Version 7.1.0 was also not listed. Finally I tried to do the update with my phone directly by accessing: Options>Device>Software Updates.
It displayed my Current Version of 7.0.0 Bundle 2406 and an available version 7.1.0 Bundle 1149. But when I Clicked Perform Update to download the new version it showed preparing to download but then displayed an error message such as "The download cannot continue because your device cannot connect to the update server using any of the following methods:Wi-Fi".
Meanwhile, I did not perform the upgrade with Wi-Fi because I have an active blackberry data subscrip of 2GB from my mobile network provider.
Please I need help on how to perform the upgrade from version 7.0.0 to version 7.1.0 with the latest Bundle.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
The simplest way is to, on a PC (you cannot do this on MAC):
1) Make sure you have a current and complete backup of your BB...you can find complete instructions via the link in my auto-sig below.
2) Uninstall, from your PC, any BB OS packages
3) Make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed

4) Download and install, to your PC, the BB OS package you desire:
http://us.blackberry.com/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp
It is sorted first by carrier -- so if all you want are the OS levels your carrier supports, your search will be quick. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates. To truly seek out the most up-to-date OS package for your BB, you must dig through and find all carriers that support your specific model BB, and then compare the OS levels that they support.
5) Delete, on your PC, all copies of VENDOR.XML...there will be at least one, and perhaps 2, and they will be located in or similarly to (it changes based on your Windows version) these folders:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
C:\Users\(your Windows UserName)\AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML
6a) For changing your installed BB OS level (upgrade or downgrade), you can launch the Desktop Software and connect your BB...the software should offer you the OS package you installed to your PC.
6b) Or, for reloading your currently installed BB OS level as well as for changing it, bypass the Desktop Software and use LOADER.EXE directly, by proceeding to step 2 in this process:

Note that while written for "reload" and the Storm, it can be used to upgrade, downgrade, or reload any BB device model -- it all depends on the OS package you download and install to your PC.
If, during the processes of 6a or 6b, your BB presents a "507" error, simply unplug the USB cord from the BB and re-insert it...don't do anything else...this should allow the install to continue.
If you are on MAC, you are limited to only your carriers sanctioned OS packages...but can still use any levels that they currently sanction. See this procedure:

Two things may cause the ePrint job to fail.
1. Try openning your email account in the Blackberry by going to the Web Browser rather than logging in through the shortcut.
2. Now try sending an email from there.
3. If the email prints, you will want to delete the old email account shortcut, and recreate the email account.
4. The other thing you can try is removing the signature from your email if you use one when sending an email.
