Unable to exit forms session deployed through application server10G R2

Hi all,
I'm having an issue where I'm unable to exit the forms session.
1) Installed Oracle Application Server 10g R2 on Windows 2003
2) Upgraded custom forms from 6i to 10g
3) Created a forms configuration for the custom forms
4) Deployed forms.
5) Accessed the main startup form from the server / client machine
Browser : Internet Explorer 7.0
Sun JRE : Java Plug-in 1.5.0_14
6) Form works fine, but when Action => Exit or Forms window is closed, it
hangs. Have to close form session by going to task manager and clicking end
task.
No issues are there whatsoever with test.fmx and a sample form created with EMP table.
I'm not sure whether this is an issue with the Java plugin, upgraded forms or with the application server settings.

Unable to open forms when Launching another application on same browser.

Hi,
I have a server with configuration Oracle EBS 12.1.1 on RHEL 5.5, Database 11.1.0.7. On client machine we use Internet explorer, Firefox and Chrome to access the EBS and forms.
We are able to open the forms from all browsers, but problem arise when we access another application on same browser, resulting in not opening of oracle forms.
This is a java application using the same database on the server. This application works fine but Our Oracle Forms has to face the problems.
When we try to launch the forms, it results in FRM-92101 error. I read the MOS documents for
R12: "FRM-92101:There was a failure in the Forms Server during startup" Error When Attempting to Launch Forms [ID 454427.1]
Then I checked the application log file, it says that:
13/08/12 18:47:41.891 formsweb: Forms session <207> failed during startup: no response from runtime process
13/08/12 18:50:43.704 formsweb: Forms session <209> aborted: runtime process failed during startup with errors
Unable to switch to Working Directory: /oracle/TEST/apps/tech_st/10.1.3/forms
When I further investigate I found there is no such "forms" directory under "/oracle/TEST/apps/tech_st/10.1.3".
Then I read Oracle Notes:
FRM-92101 : Unable To Switch To Working Directory. (Doc ID 1434888.1)
FRM-92101 Error in Application.log: Unable to Switch to Working Directory (Doc ID 432708.1)
But no luck with all these. Please suggest something. Can't open both application simultaneously on same browser.

Please state whether the application was working fine before.
Please provide log file of:
--$LOG_HOMEora/10.1.3/j2ee/forms/forms_default_group_1/application.log
--DB alert logfile --check whether you can find any valuable information.

Opening image file from Form 6i deployed on Application server

Hi
I am working on an applictaion where a form 6i is deployed on application server.The application reads an image file from hard disk.The form works fine when I run in form developer . But when I deploy on application server the form using get_file_name do not reads the image file.

In forms 10g we use webutil for that. I think forms 6i do not support that.
May search here in the forum for webutil for 6i.
Some guys had built a webutil.pll that s working on 6i.

Unable to Open forms Through Forms session

All,
We are having a strange issue with Oracle Forms, recently we have applied CPU patches and after that we are unable to open 'PO CHange History' form through forms session and also we are having same issue with our Custom Form as well, below is the error message

We are on Oracle EBS 11.5.10.2 version and the issue we are getting in windows 7 system.

In order to resolve it I have taken the Adobe Credential File from SAP and put it under /usr/sap/<SAPSID>/SYS/global/AdobeDocumentServices/ TrustManagerService/trust/credentials directory as "003265.pfx", i.e. extracted zip file put here.
Now I opened the Visual Administrator and moved to Cluster tab, choose Server <x> -> Services -> Document Services Configuration
On the tab, select Runtime tab -> Credentials
Put the values as follows
Alias : ReaderRights
P12 File : clicked on browse and select the "003265.pfx"
sha1 : <blank>
Password : XXXXXX (Given by SAP)
Confirm Password : XXXXXX
And after that clicked on ADD button, then a message comes as follows
An error occured while updating the credential expiry date for alias 'ReaderRights':Error Retrieving credential expiry: ReaderRights
Show Addtional Messages? with "Yes" and "No" button
Also I restarted the PDF Manipulation Module, but still getting the same above error while deploying and same message on selecting "Document Services Configuration"
Can someone tell me how I can solve this error

Hi Francios,
 The pop-up error message has gone. The problem is with the rights with the folder "credential" means I have added the credential file to the /usr/sap/<SAPSID>/SYS/global/AdobeDocumentServices/TrustManagerService/trust/credentials directory and done the steps as given in first message too but it does not set the Expiry Date.
Now I have given the full rights to credentials directory in Operating System and done these steps again.
This time it also fetches the Expiry date and the pop-up error message has gone.
So, there is no problem with JCE installation.
But again when I deployed the Travel Request Application the same error message is coming which is in my first message.
I am again putting some statements from my first message

Forms session 125,296 aborted: unable to communicate with runtime process

Forms 10g version on Hp unix.
We have about 400 users are using 10g web based application. Our users get the error "There was a failure in the forms server during startup. This could happen due to invalid configuration.
Please look into the web-server log file for details."
web-server log file it says
'Forms session <125,296> aborted: unable to communicate with runtime process.'
It is not reproducible error. But it happens to everybody at random time/form/database which makes big impact on our business.
We are in the edge of backing out of oracle forms due to this error
Any help will be appreciated

Would be a really bummer if you backed out of Forms and found the problems were because of network glitches ;o)
You need to do a bit a scratching around to get more details on this.
http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/forms/pdf/10g/troubleshooting_fls.pdf would be a good place to start. Chances are, network glitches are cause a disconnects but you need to confirm this by using the techniques described in this paper.

Deploying forms and reports on Application Server 10g

I had buit some forms,reports by using Oracle Developer Suite( Oracle Form developer, Report developer ) , I had run them on that tools. Now I want to deploy on Oracle Application Server. How can do it , any one can tell me step by step (because I'm a beginer). How do I deploy on Application Server ? I had installed Oracle Application Server (without install Infrastructure) , can I deploy ? because My computer not support install Oracle Application Server with Infrastructure (memory only 512M). Are there any way ?

You can install the Oracle Application Forms and Reports standalone version of the application server. This does not require an infrastructure.
As far as deployment of Forms and Reports, you can either place your compiled (.fmx and .rep) files in the default \forms90 directory or you can place them in another directory and specify the location in the formsweb.cfg file.

If this still needed. Take a look in Your WSDL file - any references to schemas etc. Are they accessible on server? For example - XSD file have absolute file system link - change it to project level import (copy xsd file to project) or publish to MDS.

Deploy capex through application library

Hi,
Can anyone experience the problem when deploying capex through application library 9.3.1?
The job progress kepts at 9% with detail:
"initialing product action...
product response:200..
waiting for status udpates...".
BTW, I
1) have already performed "validate" check for capex app. There is no error.
2) no error is captured in the shared service
3) SharedServices_Metadata.log shows

Unable to deploy ADF application to weblogic server

Hi,
We are developing ADF application using jDeveloper 11.1.1.1 and deploying to Weblogic Server 10.3.1. The application is working without any problems on 10.3.1 wblogic platform.
We procured new 64 bit hardware and installed weblogic 10.3.2 and jdeveloper 11.1.1.2 on windows platform. When we are deploying the application developed using jdeveloper 11.1.1.1 on the new platform we are getting the following exception.
An error occurred during activation of changes, please see the log for details.

I have tried deploying the application using jdeveloper 11.1.1.2.0, But this time I am getting the following error after commenting the following lines in weblogic-application.xml. I have removed the following lines as I am getting classnot found exception for oracle.adf.share.weblogic.listeners.ADFApplicationLifecycleListener and oracle.mds.lcm.weblogic.WLLifecycleListener.

Unable to deploy the application onto the server (soadev)

Hello,
I tried to deploy an application using Jdeveloper but it failed. Then tried to directly deploy it onto the server and I am getting the following errors. The name of the application is Customer Application. Please provide any suggestions to solve this.
ERROR:

You need to remove the existing instance of the application from the server - either from the WebLogic Console or directly from JDeveloper:

Unable to deploy DynPro Applications to the SDM

Whenever I try to deploy DynPro Application I receive this error:

URGENT : Unable to re deploy Planning application in 11.1.1.3

Hi All,
We are working on Oracle Fusion 11.1.1.3 version and have created a planning application using the EPM way.
Since yesterday we are facing a peculiar problem which we have not encountered till date.
When we try to deploy the application in Application Library, the deploy option appears to be greyed out.
Can anyone help us in resolving this issue? Its critical for us.

If you have a look at the AwbConfig.properties file which for tomcat is located at \Hyperion\deployments\Tomcat5\EPMAWebServer\webapps\awb\WEB-INF\conf
If it has not been updated there will be a line
DEPLOY_PENDING_TIMEOUT_MINUTES=480
This means it will not timeout until after 8 hours, if you change the timeout to a lower value like 15 and restart the EPMA services hopefully it will notice that the timeout has passed and reset the properties of the app.
