So that we may better diagnose DOWNLOAD problems, please provide the following information.
- Server name -
- Filename - 90201iDS_Win32
- Date/Time - 19/09/2002, 10:00 am (Download time approx)
- Browser + Version - MS IE 6
- O/S + Version - MS Windows XP Professional
- Error Msg - "90201iDS_Win32.exe is not a valid Win32 application."
Occurs after download of files, executing the bat file and then running (attempting to run) 90201iDS_Win32.exe.

    It can be solved by 5 steps :
    1. Close Ovi Store and uninstall app using Application Manager.
    2. Clear your browser cache data (Nokia browser>Options>Clear privacy data>All).
    3. Go to file manager to clear installed app file (Menu>Application>Office>File Manager>Options>Find>Select Drive C or E depends where you install the app>Root folder>Type app name you want to remove>Delete founded file).
    4. Restart your phone.
    5. Open Ovi Store and install the app again.

  • Iphone 4 unable to extract picture after restoring from backup.

    Hi all
    i m currently using a iphone 4 and while before restoring i have done the back up and after restoring all 2500 pictures was gone and no way to extract. But making use of other third party software all picture was found but due to purchase software thus never make any purchase to retrieve all picture back.
    can anyone help to resolve the problems above mention and seem like the jepg file has became a document file instead?

    It sounds like the restore process will not complete successfully and the phone will not boot up. I recommend starting by resetting the phone, then try restoring again.
    If your device stops responding, you can reset it by pressing and holding both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

  • Unable to install Xcom after download from MAS

    Since yesterday i try to install the game Xcom: Enemy unknown - Elite Edition from the Mac App Store (MAS).
    The game downloads fine - wich takes close to 2h for the 13,5gb - and then the button switches to "installing" wich suddenly ends with "unknown error", please try again. and boy i've tried..
    now it's the second day downloading this over and over again and i'm seriously pi**ed that i didn't use ferals online store but the MAS.
    i hope someone has any hint what i can do?
    what i already did:
    1) deleted the file and tried again
    2) deactivated "little snitch"
    3) cleared the cache and tried again
    4) cleared the temp cache and tired again
    5) used onyx to clear the system, cleaned the app store cache, rebooted and treid again
    6) set up a new user and tried again
    all in all nothing worked for me. and after 5x times downloading (thats 10hrs!) i'm seeking for wisdom that goes beyond my google skills.
    any help appreciated.

    Hey,
    The exact same thing happened to me.  App store support was very nice- but never figured out what was causing the issue.  Luckily im on vacation now and could use my mom's mbp to download the game and then transfer it to my computer but it was super frustrating.  My biggest problem is now most of my large app store downloads are behaving this way and i don't know how to fix it and neither does apple- makes me want to buy games from steam instead.
    If you ever figure out what the problem was please let me know- ill do the same

  • System unable to verify software after download

    I think this was covered in earlier discussion threads, but I don't see that it was resolved...  Maybe I missed it.
    Problem: OS X Lion successfully downloaded from app store onto my 2009 iMac running OS X 10.6.8, but took 16 hours. My DSL is normally pretty good and quick, and I turned everything else that was connected to it off before starting the download, so that was surprise #1.
    Lion icon moves to the dock when the download started.
    Tried to install by clicking on the Lion installer icon.  Got the installation screen.  It started working and told me 3 minutes.  1 minute later (after signingin and agreeing to the SLA) got the error message "System could not verify the software.  Possibly corrupted during the download."  I clicked on that error message and the installer disappeared.  Finally located it in the Applications folder.  Surprise #2.
    I figured a download problem, possibly a permissions problem (had recent minor trouble with Firefox crashing frequently.)  I fixed permissions using Disk Utility.  Then re-initaited the App Store download.  16 hours later (I'm going crazy here), the exact same scenario occured.  Starts to install, then stops and disappears into the Applications folder.
    Wrote App Store tech support, who recommended right clicking the installer and opening another .dmg that is allegedly in the download package.  One of the stranger things I've ever heard (Surprise #3), but I check any way.  Right clicking or control clicking the installer icon does absolutely nothing, nor does opening the installer app from the Applications folder.  I'm not seeing this dmg anywhere.  No download package that I see on this machine.
    I advise the AppStore folks of that, and they basically throw their hands up in the air.  Paraphasing here:  "Nope, don't know what's happening, if you'd like, I can refer you to someone else."  They were very nice about it, but geezzz. So much for putting any effort into the problem.
    Checked these forums, found earlier threads from last July that seemed to say the issue was in memory handling.  The recommended solution seemed to be going into the Terminal and making some changes.  Also found a link to a cnet blog, but again, not happy or comfortable with attempting the suggested fix.  I have a very, very low comfort level with doing that, so...
    Also the earlier threads seem to have linked this problem to MacBook Pros.  I'm running an iMac and having this issue, so it's not just a portable device problem.
    Getting tired of surprises here.
    My questions are:
    Has anyone found a solution that does not require personally making changes at the terminal level?
    Does anyone know if Apple has ever officially addressed this issue?  I've been searching and can't seem to locate any knowledge base article that addresses this specific problem.

    Control-click the install app and select Show Package Contents. Open it up and the dmg that should work, given an uncorrupted download, is the one marked. If you can't get to that, then the download app is useless and you'll have to waste another 16 hours downloading a good version. Alternatively, visit an Apple Store and let them get you a viable copy, since Apple loves this new, but lousy, delivery system.

    I am not aware any support articles about installing a version of Firefox newer than Firefox 3.0, although I read somewhere that if Firefox 3.0 worked, Firefox 3.5 would. But 3.5 is an unsupported version nowadays, you need Firefox 3.6.x at least.

  • Unable to Import Cds after downloading Itunes 10

    Hi can anyone in Apple please help me. I have recently downloaded Itunes 10 and now I can't import music from CDs. Every time I click import, Itunes closes down. I've tried a few of the tips I've seen online like disabling the automatic uploading of song titles option, holding the space bar when launching Itunes, but none have worked. THe only thing that works is if I choose the MP3 option in import options, but I don't know if this will then allow the songs to be imported into an Ipod. Has Apple fixed this bug yet???

    There's a bug with 10.1.0.54 that is causing "iTunes has stopped working messages" (citing CoreAudioToolbox.dll in the Problem Reports for the error) for some folks when importing CDs with the AAC encoding, adding/converting files to AAC, and in some cases syncing devices (when the convert to 128 kbps AAC option is enabled).
    Short of rolling back your iTunes to 10.0.1.22 and your Apple Application Support to 1.3.2 (CoreAudioToolbox.dll is kept in the Apple Application Support program files), there's a few possible workarounds.
    (1) Change your importing prefs to use a different encoding (won't help with the device syncing variation though), and/or disable the convert to 128 kbps AAC when syncing option.
    (2) Replace your CoreAudioToolbox.dll version 7.9.4.0 with a 7.9.3.0 as per:

    Please try again after taking each of the following steps that you haven't already taken.
    Step 1
    Reset your computer’s PRAM.
    Step 2
    If your model has user-replaceable memory, and you've upgraded the memory modules, reinstall the original memory and see whether there's any improvement. Be careful not to touch the gold contacts. Clean them with a mild solvent such as rubbing alcohol. Aftermarket memory must exactly match the technical specifications of the machine.
    Step 3
    Back up all data to at least two different storage devices, if you haven't already done so. One backup is not enough to be safe. The backups can be made with Time Machine or with Disk Utility. Preferably both.
    Erase and install OS X. This operation will destroy all data on the startup volume, so you had be better be sure of the backups.
    Step 4
    Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store, or go to another authorized service provider to have the machine tested.

  • Problems extracting Lightroom5_6 upgrade files after download

    Hello!
    I've just completed installing a LR5 upgrade from a DVD disc.
    After this, I downloaded the latest update which in this case was Lightroom 5.6.
    My problem is that I am now unable to extract the downloaded update files.
    I just get a message from the installer telling me that there is a problem extracting some files and to check that there is enough memory on my computer. The message also suggest to check that I am authourized to use the target folder for the extraction.
    I've reinstalled LR5, I've tryed downloading a new update folder several times, I've tryed extracting it in different folders.
    There is enough memory and my computer system meets the requirements. (I'am the administrator of course.)
    Anybody has a solution?

    I've actually tryed both the update 5,5 and the 5,6 with the same result and the screenshot just happened to be for 5,5.
    I've now also tryed extracting the the updatefile using both winrar and winzip but the problem is that it is an exe-file (program file).
    So no luck there and I dont know of any software that "extracts" / unfolds a program file. Do you know of any such software?

    I've just completed installing a LR5 upgrade from a DVD.
    After this, I downloaded the latest upgrade which i this case was is LR5.6.
    My problem is that I am unable to extract the files in the upgrade.

    Yes i've tried extracting/installing both updates (5.5 and 5.6). The outcome was the same in both cases. Same message with 5.6 as the one in my screenshot.
    There is some information in this but I can't figure out what it is.

    Felix2 from your screen shot it appears you are attempting to download and extract the Lightroom 5.5 update/installer.  Do you receive the same error downloading the 5.6 update at Adobe - Lightroom : For Windows : Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5.6?  Each update contains the full installer so you do not need to have a previous version of Lightroom installed prior to installing Photoshop Lightroom 5.6.

    yes i am sure. This are the exact words... "The iPad "iPad" could not be restored. The disk you are attempting to use is full. (Removing files and emptying the recycle bin will free up additional space". i tried some options, hard reset, redsnow, tinyumbrella but still it's stuck.

    When I try to do a CC update I get an U44M1I210 error message, "Update failed - Unable to extract the downloaded files. Press retry to download again. (U44M1I210)" - help please - re-downloading makes no difference, applies to latest Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop CC, others seemed to update without problems. I can see the disk image files in AAMUpdater folder but they will not open and come up with "couldn't be opened - resource busy" message.

    Yes Jeff, I did all those several times to no avail.
    I've included a small error snippet from two installs here. In Creative Cloud when updating the Apps, all 3 get to 50%, then the failure occurs. Retrying starts at 50% and fails the same way each time.
    This first one is a segment from the Indesign updater - I have always had the all hard drive folders with read and write privileges allowed and I checked again, this is still the case so I do not know why this particular error message is arising. The second snippet if from the Illustrator update.
