Welcome to SDN Vijay!
I would perform the following steps;
1) Replicate the DataSource from your source system. Steps Tcode RSA1 -> Click on source system -> Find your source system and right click -> click on replicate DataSource
2) To find your infosource, Tcode RSA1 -> Click on infosource -> Find (The binocular or CTLF-F) -> Type in the infosource name.
Cheers! Bill
Here is a link on how to create infosource

    You need to check your datasource name jdbc/AIADataSource
    Check out your data-sources.xml to make sure you didn't mistype it.

  • Unable to find data source

    Hi All,
    we have installed standard cubes and ODS from Business content. Now we want to load standard ODS but we are unable to identify standard data source.
    0CPR_C03 -  Infocube.
    We have already checked in BI Content and help.sap.com but it doesnot display any data source name.
    Kindly give input to find data source.
    Regards,
    Sathvik

    Hi,
    Now you got some clue, i.e. some datasource names supports the cube.So in that you need to analyze what feilds you want to and in which datasource you have all that feilds in that way you need to use the DS. For any other information you need to check in sap help sites, here I'm giving some tables in BW, so it will help you.

  • JNDI failure. Unable to lookup Data Source at context jdbc/AppsDatasource

    I'm not able to run my Application locally due to issue "JNDI failure. Unable to lookup Data Source at context jdbc/APPSnonXA", I did the following under debugging.
    1. Finding SPACE in DataSource, I verified
    1a. The data source for spaces and could not find any spaces. Also the "Test Connection" was successful.
    1b. The PATH, CLASSPATH variables for SPACES. Removed other Tool paths. But no Use.
    1c. Jdeveloper Installation Location Path. none of the folder names have spaces.
    1d. Application Location path. Doesn't have spaces.
    I'm attaching the log file that has the PATH,Classpath variable info.
    Please help me out.
    I did all the above by taking help of oracle forums.(https://forums.oracle.com/forums/search.jspa?threadID=&q=Re%3Aoracle.jbo.DMLException%3A+JBO-27200%3A+JNDI+failure.+Unable+to+lookup+Data+Source+at+context+&objID=f83&dateRange=all&userID=&numResults=30&rankBy=10001)

    After doing the following two things, The issue is resolved.
    #1:
    Configure Default Server for Datasource (Web logic console --> Data Sources --> jdbc/AppsDataSource --> Targets --> select, if not default server not selected --> Save --> restart the server.)
    Note:
    If we don't deploy while JNDI creation then below is correct. "You can select one or more targets to deploy your new JDBC data source. If you don't select a target, the data source will be created but not deployed. You will need to deploy the data source at a later time."
    #2: If The Jdeveloper is newly installed, Create a dummy UI application. & run a test.jspx page.

These mov files used to work . Ive uninstalled QT and reinstalled but it did not change the problem - Im running the latest QT available which I think is 7.5.5. When I unistalled QT I did not unistall Itunes
    It has been a while since I ran these files but the Windows SP update is the most recent change I can think of

  • JNDI failure. Unable to lookup Data Source

    Dear all
    I'm running my ADF application from the jdeveloper integrated web logic server and every thing is ok.
    My project contains BC and a bounded tasklflow that contains two views.
    the problem happened when I changed the connection type of the application module from "JDBC Datasource" to "JDBC URL".
    The name of the jdbc url is "jdbc/pmsDS"
    I made this because I want to deploy my application to weblogic server and I created a datasource with the same name "jdbc/pmsDS" in weblogic server.
    I tried to test and run the application on my local jdeveloper , it fails and this error occurs
    oracle.jbo.DMLException: JBO-27200: JNDI failure. Unable to lookup Data Source at context jdbc/pmsDS
    Can any one plese tell me what is the problem. Whay my application can not identify the JNDI.

  • Unable to find data in RSA3 for particular fields2lis_04_p_arbpl datasource

    I am working with datasource 2lis_04_p_arbpl to construct Yield Report. I have a field GAMNG(Target Quantity) in the table AFKO, so I added it to the communication structure and activated it. I also want the field IGMNG(confirmed quantity) which is available in the table AFKO but not appearing in the pool tables of ARBPL datasource, so I have done datasource enhancement and obtained the field in the datasource. When I am checking for the data in RSA3, unable to find data(zero values) for both the fields.

    Hi ,
    Please make sure that you are doing the extractor check in Update mode 'Full' .If the setup tables are filled then this should pick the data for the 2 newly added fields .
    check and update accordingly later .

  • Configurational settings for data source in BI server

    Hi Sdns,
    Where can we make  configurational settings for data source in BI server.
    Advance thanks to replies.
    karun

    Go to T-code RSA13.
    Search you desired BI system.
    Right click on it and Display Data Source Tree.
    There you can see all your datasource with BI as source system.
    You can do the same for other source systems.
    Double click on the datasource to see the fields and configuration.

    Hi Catherine,
    Where you are creating workbook...? In production..? Is workbook  allowed to change setting is available...?
    As i also faced same problem to save workbook in favourates,(BI7 and SP15) gives same error. After saving we can see workbook, but not able to open.
    SAP solution is change settings of workbook to changeable in system, then it works.
    Hope it Helps

    Hello ALL,
    Please suggest as to how could this error be resolved.

    Thanks and Regards,
    Ankit Mishra

    Hi,
    Did you already check the export location and existence of the file SAPSTR.LST?
    If exists, perhaps a permission issue. If not then various reasons could be applicable.
    Check this thread too http://forums.sdn.sap.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2043214. Are you doing a heterogeneous copy?

    Hi Experts,
    For a customer, we could see a credit exposure of X amount in FD33 and S067 shows a open delivery credit value shows the same X amount.
    The issue is i am not seeing any open delivery or sales order for that customer. i am Unable to find the source of this credit exposure amount.
    What can be the other possibilities for the credit exposure to show the X amount? kindly advise.
    Thanks,

    Dear Sudhahar Narasi,
    First check this path for getting the "open delivery documents"
    FD32->Environment->Sales and distribution documents->Open deliveries and open billings.
    FD32->Environment->Reporting->Credit master sheet.
    By help of these views you will be knowing exact cause for that issue.

    The following have been tested using a simple servlet with Jdeveloper 9.0.5.2 but I think other Jdeveloper/OC4J versions work similar.
    My application is called ds.
    The following command lists the datasources which are deployed with the application.
    I ran the following command against the %JDEV_HOME%\j2ee\home standalone OC4J server but it should work against the embedded OC4J server too.
    Here is the command to list the available datasources:
    C:\jdev9052\j2ee\home>\jdk142_04\bin\java -jar admin.jar ormi://localhost admin welcome -application ds -dataSourceInfo
    And here is the output of the command.

  • Cannot set up data source for SQL Server 2005

    Is it possible to use Microsoft's Beta 2 version of the SQL Server 2005 JDBC driver with WebLogic 9.0? I've downloaded the driver and added it to my server classpath, but when I try to create a new data source using the admin console, the drop-down list for Microsoft SQL Server only contains drivers for the 2000 version. If I select "Other" from the list and try to move on, I get a cryptic, page-long error on the admin console. If I just select the 2000 driver and try to manually modify the parameters on the next set of screens, I still get errors when I try to test the configuration. I've successfully used a third-party driver before, but this one does not seem to be working. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Regards,
    SabrinaHere I describe the steps I took to bypass the console in making a new pool.
    1 - Edit the script %DOMAIN_HOME%\bin\startWebLogic.cmd to add a line like this:
    set CLASSPATH=%CLASSPATH%;\new_ms_driver\beta2\sqljdbc_1.0\enu\sqljdbc.jar
    In other words, you have to explicitly add a third party driver's classes to
    the CLASSPATH that will be in effect for the server. Just adding the driver
    to your window's class path will do nothing.
    2 - Go to the directory %DOMAIN_HOME%\config\jdbc, where you will find
    files of the name *-jdbc.xml. Each of these represents a DataSource.
    Copy one of them, perhaps either examples-demo-jdbc.xml, or
    examples-demoXA-jdbc.xml depending on whether you want to make an XA
    or non-XA pool. Make you new file's name like the name of the DataSource,
    still ending in -jdbc.xml. Eg: MS_Beta-jdbc.xml
    3 - Edit this file to change as much as would be clear for the
    driver you want. Eg: change the driver class to the class you want,
    the user name, URL, test table etc. Also, change the pool's initial
    capacity to 0. This is so the pool can be created without making a
    connection. We need that because the password is encrypted, and
    there is no manual way for you to add the correct one yet.
    4 - go one directory up, and edit the config.xml. Find a
    jdbc-system-resource entry corresponding to the original
    resource file you copied. Make a new entry in the config file,
    like the original, but change the Datasource name to your new one.
    5 - If this all went well, reboot your server and go to your data
    source in the console, and edit it. Alter the password to what it
    really should be, and you can also change whatever else you might
    want.
    6 - shut down again, and reboot, and you should then be able to go to
    your data source in the console and test a connection.
    That's it. Here is an example of a jdbc.xml file I made, and
    the entry I made in the config.xml:
    config/jdbc/newpool-jdbc.xml:
    <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?>
    <jdbc-data-source xmlns="http://www.bea.com/ns/weblogic/90" xmlns:sec="http://www.bea.com/ns/weblogic/90/security"
    xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:wls="http://www.bea.com/ns/weblogic/90/security/wls"
    xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.bea.com/ns/weblogic/90/domain.xsd">
    <name>newpool</name>
    <jdbc-driver-params>
    <url>jdbc:sqlserver://frogger:1433</url>

    <properties>
    <property>
    <name>user</name>
    <value>joe</value>
    </property>
    </properties>
    <password-encrypted>{3DES}cPpx2Z6faqY=</password-encrypted>
    </jdbc-driver-params>
    <jdbc-connection-pool-params>
    <initial-capacity>1</initial-capacity>
    <max-capacity>5</max-capacity>
    <capacity-increment>1</capacity-increment>
    <shrink-frequency-seconds>900</shrink-frequency-seconds>
    <test-connections-on-reserve>true</test-connections-on-reserve>
    <test-table-name>SQL select 1</test-table-name>
    <profile-type>0</profile-type>
    </jdbc-connection-pool-params>
    <jdbc-data-source-params>
    <jndi-name>newpool</jndi-name>
    <global-transactions-protocol>TwoPhaseCommit</global-transactions-protocol>
    </jdbc-data-source-params>
    <jdbc-xa-params></jdbc-xa-params>
    </jdbc-data-source>
    config.xml entry:
    <jdbc-system-resource>
    <name>newpool</name>
    <target>examplesServer</target>
    <descriptor-file-name>jdbc/newpool-jdbc.xml</descriptor-file-name>

    Any light on the above issue will be of great help.
    Thanks in advance.

    hi,
    user tcode rsa6 explode all the nodes and then used find icon to find your required data source. This tcode gives you the list of data source which are active.
    User tcode rsa5 to list out the data source which is delivered by sap.
