Unable to find LogMiner Viewer in 10gR2

Hi,
Am using the above Enterprise Edition on Windows XP SP2 on notebook.
Am running in Archivelog mode and had supplemental log enabled.
Unable to locate Start>Programs>Oracle_home>Database Administration>LogMiner Viewer as per documentation.
but able to find in c:\Oracle_home>Client_1>sysman>admin the lmviewcre.sql
& lmviewdrp.sql files.
Able to use SQL command line to view archivelog data but
unable to use the GUI above.
Is it there's some setup to be done as in standalone repository which i am not able to fully understand yet ?
Pls advise.
Thanks in advance

  • Unable to find a view for Broadcast Messages

    Hi Experts,
We are using SAP CRM 2007. When we click on any broadcast message flashing at the bottom of IC Agent Screen, a small view opens where we have a drop down to display New/Read/Past messages. Also we have an option to mark a message as Read and it will not flash anymore at the bottom of the screen.
Can anybody please provide me some guidance about this view as I need to modify some functionality in this view?
    Thanks and Regards,
    Rohit

    Hello Rohit,
I checked with a developer named Hualin. The view name of the broadcast message details popup is Broadcast_popup.htm. Go to SE80. Open the BSP application CRMCMP_IC_FRAME. Then go Pages with Flow Logic directory, you can find this htm file. By the way, for the scrolling bar, the file is broadcast_bar.htm.
    Best regards,
    John

  • LogMiner Viewer in the Enterprise Manager 10g ??

Does somebody know if there is LogMiner Viewer in the Enterprise Manager 10g?
How could I do to work with this tool ?
    Thanks

There is a 10g style. It comes with the client software. It is very much a stripped down version. I downloaded it and installed it. I could not find Logminer viewer in it. I did find some documentation. Here is what it says.
    Launching LogMiner Viewer
To launch LogMiner Viewer, take the following steps:
Invoke LogMiner Viewer: On UNIX platforms, enter:oemapp lmviewer
The command string is case-sensitive and must be entered with lowercase characters.
On Windows NT, from the Programs menu,
choose Oracle_home > Database Administration > LogMiner Viewer.
After you invoke LogMiner Viewer, the Login dialog box is displayed.
    Select Launch standalone.
Now, you can connect to a standalone Oracle Enterprise Manager repository.
If you do not have a standalone repository or if LogMiner Viewer is not aware
of an existing standalone repository, you cannot save queries.
When you attempt to expand a database or save a query, LogMiner Viewer displays
an informational message and leads you through a dialog to connect to or to create
a repository. See Connecting to or Creating a Standalone Repository for more information.
    Click OK.

  • Unable to find matching navigation case from view ID.  Error 404

    Hi All,
I basically wanted to jumpstart my ADF exploration so I am following the tutorial at this link. [http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/jdev/ccset22-all-099343.html]
Everything looks good but when I click the Edit Button, I am encountering an error. What I did was I change the logging mechanism into a FINER in my WLS and from the logs,
    it prints below messages.
<NavigationHandlerImpl> <getViewId> "JSF1013: Unable to find matching navigation case from view ID '/orders-flow/editOrders' for outcome 'save' and action 'save'
    <ViewHandlerImpl> <executePageToBuildView> About to execute view /orders-flow/editOrders
    <ViewHandlerImpl> <executePageToBuildView> Before dispacthMessage to viewId /orders-flow/editOrders
<ViewHandlerImpl> <executePageToBuildView> After dispacthMessage to viewId /orders-flow/editOrdersI checked out the taskflow and it is basically calling a task-flow-return component.
I followed everything but I cant make this example work... Any idea why? I checked out the DB and I notice that it has commited my Edit Transaction but I am getting a 404 on my page. Please help. Thanks.

    Hi Frank,
I think I got the save control flow case.
Can you help me check please if I miss something? I uploaded my project at this link. [http://www.4shared.com/file/QFcofTfj/BrowseEditApp.html]
I am quite not sure if I miss something but I have done this project twice already but got the same result.
    Thanks

  • [Solved] Unable to find root device

    Hi guys,
it's been three days now that my laptop refuses to boot with a message from systemd like this:
ERROR: device 'UUID=xxx...' not found. Skipping fsck.
ERROR: Unable to find root device 'UUID=xxx...'.
You are being dropped to a recovery shell.
That said, keep in mind that I'm saying "three days" just because it's in the past two days that I've spent most of the time searching in the Internet for a solution of what seems just to be a well-known, very common problem, especially when it arises after a kernel upgrade (as in my case).
But believe me, I've been trying this and that through the live Arch Linux environment, but without the slightest improvement: regeneration of the initramfs, regeneration of /etc/fstab, reconfiguration of GRUB (although this was clearly unhelpful, since the problem arises when the kernel has already been booted), small changes in the hooks in /etc/mkinitcpio.conf, small changes to some modules loaded at boot, downgrading linux... Nothing works.
I'm now writing from another computer, so I cannot post the entire output of useful commands now, but if you need to know something I will give you the necessary information.
In the meanwhile, notice that I use Linux LVM partition with logical volumes formatted with Btrfs, without encryption.
It's strange that even with the dowgrade from Linux 3.18.3 (the one after whose installation the system was unusable) to 3.18.2 the problem still remains.
However, the only thing I managed to take from my system is the output of dmesg, obtained from the recovery shell, after having set the debug settings for systemd in the kernel command line before booting.

Guys, I think I've found the strange thing.
First, in the recovery shell, when I type "lvm lvscan", it prints:
WARNING: lvmetad is running but disabled. Restart lvmetad before enabling it!
and then it says that all four my logical volumes root, boot, home and var are inactive.
So I tried to set them up manually, with "lvm vgchange -a y", and guess what happened: I was able to boot!
I still haven't managed to understand the real causes of this problem, but basically it seems that I have the same problem explained here: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=184340.
The only difference is that there the OP says to have solved the problem with an upgrade to Linux 3.15.7, while it appeared to me with the upgrade to 3.18.3, and as I said it doesn't go away neither with a downgrade nor with another upgrade to version 3.18.4

  • Unable to display tree view; Error when parsing an XML document (Premature end of file.)

    Hi folks,
I am using a cascaded mapping in my OM. I have a graphical mapping followed by the Java mapping. It is a flat file to IDOC mapping. Everything works fine in Dev but when I transport the same objects to QA, the Operation mapping though it doesn't fail in ESR testing tool, gives the following message and there is no output generated for the same payload which is successfully tested in DEV. Please advise on what could be the possible reasons.
Unable to display tree view; Error when parsing an XML document (Premature end of file.)

    kalyan,
There seems to be an invalid xml payload which causes this error in ESR not generating the tree view. Please find the similar error screenshot and rectify the payload.

  • Office Web Apps - Office Web Apps was unable to find the specified certificate

    Hello,
Let me start by saying I did not see a forum listed for Office Web Apps and figured the SharePoint forum would be the second best place to post this.  With that said, here's my issue...
I installed OWA 2013 on a Windows Server 2012 (not R2) VM and installed all the prereqs as described here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj219455(v=office.15).aspx  Since this is a test environment, I'm planning on using a self-signed
cert which appears to be supported based on info found here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/2e147f11-6f47-46bc-90bf-b2f179958d11(v=office.15)#certificate.
I created the cert using the following command:
    New-SelfSignedCertificate -DnsName owa.test.local -CertStoreLocation cert:\LocalMachine\My
I then edited the cert's properties in the Cert Manager MMC snap-in and added a friendly name of "2014_OWA_Cert".  I then proceeded to try and create the OWA farm by running:
    New-OfficeWebAppsFarm -InternalUrl "https://owa.test.local" -CertificateName "2014_OWA_Cert" -EditingEnabled
    This produces the following error:
New-OfficeWebAppsFarm : Office Web Apps was unable to find the specified certificate.
    At line:1 char:1

    What gives?

    Hi Waqas
Thanks for your help with this. I had a look at both posts, the URL works fine from the WAC server and I am not using a System account to test docs.
Also, this is a production site that is accessible over the Internet, so we are using https therefore the WOPIZone is external-https.
Issue #3 in the above blog link does not reflect the same error I see on my servers.
I also had a look at the information in this link: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff431687.aspx#oauth
Problem: You receive a "Sorry, there was a problem and we can't open this document" error when you try to view an Office document in Office Web Apps.
If you added domains to the Allow List by using the
New-OfficeWebAppsHost cmdlet, make sure you’re accessing Office Web Apps from a host domain that’s in the Allow List. To view the host domains in the Allow List, on the Office Web Apps Server open the Windows PowerShell prompt as an administrator and run
the Get-OfficeWebAppsHost cmdlet. To add a domain to the Allow List, use the
    New-OfficeWebAppsHost cmdlet.
I have not added any domains to the Allow list so this did not help either. Should I add the domain?
Any further help with this is much appreciated.
    Thanks again.

  • Unable to find associated SLD element

    Hello,
We are currently setting up our PI 7.1 evaluation system. When we assign a business system (ECC6.0) from the SLD in the Integration Builder and tick "Create communication channels automatically" we receive the following error message:
Could not create communication channel: Unable to find associated SLD element for specified class (source element: SAP_BusinessSystem, [CreationClassName, SAP_BusinessSystem, string, Name, test, string], target element class: SAP_HTTPServicePort)
In the IB the following communication channels are however created successfully:
    - GeneratedReceiverChannel_HTTP
    - GeneratedReceiverChannel_RFC
    - GeneratedReceiverChannel_IDoc
    - GeneratedReceiverChannel_XI
    - GeneratedReceiverChannel_WS_Local
    - GeneratedSenderChannel_WS
Any idea what this error message means and how to correct it?

    Thanks for the reponses.
    Abhishek,
I've been through the forum posts and they all refer to issues with the Adapter Framework or Integration Directory. I have worked through them though and none of the resolutions help with my issue.
    Divya,
Regarding note 1117249; yes I saw this can be an issue from previous posts on SDN so have confirmed the PI components are all present in the SLD, as shown below, and registered against the same domain:
    - Adapter Engine on (SID)
    - Domain (host)
    - Integration Directory on (SID)
    - Integration Repository on (SID)
    - Integration Server on (host)
    - RWB on (SID).(host)
Regarding note 764176; I have checked the RWB and all expected components are present and green (except web service security, which is amber):
    - Integration Server
    -- Integration Engine (SID)
    -- Business Process Engine (SID)
    -- Mapping Runtime (SID)
    -- Adapter Engine (SID)
Ran the Cache Connectivity Test from RWB and it reported everything green.
Also in CIM instances under XI Integration Server the following associations are present:
    - XI Contained Integration Server - associated with XI Domain 'Domain (host)'
    - XI Integration Server Logical Identity - associated with Business System 'INTEGRATION_SERVER_(SID)'
    - XI Sub-System viewed Application System - associated with BC System '(SID) on (host)'
In Technical Landscape under Technical System Type PI the 'Application System' column is populated with '(SID) on (host)' for all entries except for the entry of type XI Domain.
NB. I have deliberate obscured host and SID with (host) and (SID) respectively.
The above entries all look correct to me and J2EE was restarted very recently so have not removed the entries as described in note 764176...
Perhaps I could try to create the communication channel manually? Any idea which one uses the "SAP_HTTPServicePort" class?

  • BUG? "ERR-1002 Unable to find item ID..." on branch on upgrading 3.0 to 4.0

I'm testing the waters prior to upgrading a customer application from APEX 3.0.0.00.20 to 4.0.2.00.07.
The application has been exported from the APEX 3.0 environment on a 4.0 instance on a different server. Both databases are 10.2.0.4.0 EE.
A on navigating&mdash;via a standard tab&mdash;to a page containing only conditional On Load: Before Header branches, the branches are failing with
Unexpected error, unable to find item name at application or page level.
Error: ERR-1002 Unable to find item ID for item "p810_status" in application "121". This is caused by the branch action having Set these items item names specified in lower case:
p810_status,p810_read_onlyThe error is resolved by changing these item names to UPPER CASE.
This is not a disaster. Using APEX views I can see that there are only a handful of branches specifying item names in lower case so it won't require major effort to fix this app when it's upgraded for real.
However, (a) I am aware that there are other places in this app where item names are specified in lower case; and (b) I tend to type most of my development stuff in lower case, so I'd like clarification on this issue.
<li>Is this a known issue? (Can't find any earlier mention of this on OTN, MOS or web)
<li>Is this expected behaviour in APEX 4.x or a bug?
<li>If a bug is it fixed in 4.1?
<li>Is there a change in APEX 4.0 requiring branch item (and other?) references to be uppercase? If so, where is this documented?
I notice that it works OK when the same item values are specified in the URL using lowercase item names.

I noticed that APEX 4.0.2 has converted all branches to use the [now] late, lamented "Set value before branching" option. Is this significant? Obviously this won't occur if upgrading to 4.1.

    Hi Lukx,
Thank you for reporting this. You have hit upon an issue with this page, for which I have filed Oracle bug #11840642. To get around this in the meantime, you can see page specific changes by going to:
    1) The 'Page Definition' page for the page you want to see recent edits.
    2) Go to 'Utilities > History'. This will show you recent actions for components on the current page.
Hope that helps and thanks again for catching this.
    Regards,
    Anthony.

  • Unable to find entry in ALL_SDO_GEOM_METADATA in predefined  theme

Hello I've a strange problem with mapviewer.
I've diferents themes, all with its definition in USER_SDO_THEMES. I've created the metadata information for the georaster table in USER_SDO_GEOM_METADATA and I've created the spatial index on the spatial extent (georaster.spatialextent) of the georaster table.
When I restart mapviewer and I access to a map, the map is well renderized but I obtain next error. This error appears only the first time that I access to the map, the rest of access dont produce this error. Strange no?

    Hi,
It was always documented that users need to insert into USER_SDO_GEOM_METADATA and select from the ALL_SDO_GEOM_METADATA.
All of the documentation mentions that users should not insert into ALL_SDO_GEOM_METADATA directly.
But we have noticed that some users try to insert into ALL_SDO_GEOM_METADATA directly and some times use the wrong owner information while doing so.
And this causes problems in queries, so we explicitly revoked the privs on that view to prevent users from corrupting the metadata by mistake.
This change was made in 10.2.0.4 and 11.1.0.6.
