after selecting the products.xml file and selecting the oracle home to update and then cllick Install

is it the issue of the version of oracle.swd.jre? can we skip the installation of this componenet?

    Hi,
I don't know if you got an answer to this problem. It looks like you need to install Borland Service Pack 1 (for BES 6.5) to fix this issue. I spent a couple of days squirming, trying to figure out this issue.
    Hope this helps.

  • Unable to find product categories after client copy

    Hi all,
We have copied  clients from an existing ones for both SRM and ECC. After client copy we have followed standard procedure after client copy i.e.
    Run transcation BDLS
    created new RFC connections
changed attributes using the Attributes replace report
    created new distributon model
    maintained CRM parameters
maintained new site attributes in SMOEAC transaction
    maintained entries in table TWPURLSVR
however , when i try to create a shopping cart,  I cannot see any product category. The extended attributes for product category point to new ECC client becuse we have run the attributes replace report.
however in the product category table , COMM_CATEGORY , the product categories listed are all for the old ECC client
When i tried to load the Object DNL_CUST_PROD1 using transaction R3AS in SRM and tried to pull from new ECC client , it is in runing status for a long time and new categories with new ECC backend reference are not being replicated in the SRM.
Can you tell me why this could be happening ? How can i get the product categories from new ECC backend into my client?
    Regards,
    Mangesh

    problem solved

  • Oracle resets JRE settings, messes up IE

Sorry if this has been answered. I looked around and didn't see this particular topic.
On Windows 2000 machines (server and workstation), I have had cases where certain applets that used to function before installing Oracle on the machine in question no longer work. The applets can't find the jre that they expect, and the error tells you that it can't find the proper vales in the registry. The registry looks fine, and the binaries are definately there though.
For instance, I had something that was looking for jar 1.3.1. It woked before installing Oracle, and won't work after installin Oracle UNTIL I REINSTAL THE 1.3.1 JRE. This seems stupid, and I don't know if doing this will just cause problems with Oracle down the road.
What is the easy solution here?
    Thanks,
    Mike

I encountered this same problems (similar symptoms) while installing on Linux. Perhaps the same solution will work for you.
It seems the default locations in which all of the standard installs (Enterprise, Standard, Client) put both jdk 1.1.8 and 1.3.1 into the same directory location, thereby destroying both JDKs. If you elect the Custom installation, it gives you the option to put the JDKs into locations of your choice. On the Linux systems the default location is directory oracle.swd.jre. I found it adequate to elect to put jdk 1.3.1 into a directory jdk1.3.1 inside directory oracle.swd.jre.
The directory names will be different in your environment but the problem is probably the same.

Nope, it works without any problems on 6.1. It was on 6.2 I had the problem, and when I tried doing everything locally on 6.2, it works there too.

  • Unable to find a WSDL

    Hi ;
I deployed a process. It was run correctly, but now i get this error:
Unable to find a WSDL that has a definition for service {http://xmlns.oracle.com/bpmn/bpmnProcess/MainProcess}MainProcess.service and port MainProcessPort. Please make sure that the port attribute for the binding defined in the composite file is correct by checking the namespace, service name, and port name. In addition, check that the WSDL associated with the binding namespace is imported and currently reachable (check the import nodes at the top of the composite file). Finally, validate the HTTP proxy settings for the server.
    What's the my fault?

    Hello,
When are you getting the error? On deploy or when you try to actually call the WebService?
I've had that type of errors on deploy and it's usually a problem not with the exposed webservice, as the error would suggest, but with the consumed services. Check that you can access all the references of that process, and that there are no typos in them.
If it's when you actually call the webservice, can you access it in Enterprise Manager and call it there?
    Hope this helps,
    Diogo Henriques
