Unable to find query

Hello Experts!!
I got one issue with portals and Queries.
My user added one query/report in 'My Portfolio' of of Business Explorer of his Portal.When he is trying to view that report today,he is getting error..'500 Internal Server Error'...when I read in the error message,I found something like---'Bookmark XXXXXX doesnot exist and therefore cannot be loaded'
I asked user if he can tell me which query/report he added in his portfolio....He checked properties of that bookmark and sent me
TemplateID ....I searched on it but couldnot find any query/report in my Query Designer.....Is template ID enough for this or do we
need to ask specifically for query name?
How can we find query name of the bookmark/report users add in their personal BEx documents/My Portfolio in BEx Portals?
Do any of you have any knowledge about why this type of error occurs?

Hallo,
This is possible to use the [metadata repository|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_sm40/helpdata/en/4e/ea683c25e9096de10000000a114084/frameset.htm] in transaction RSA1 in order to help you in find the information that you need.
RSA1 -> Metadata Repository .
In that screen you will find a list of BW objects. In your case that you have the WEB Template ID, you can choose the u201CBex Web Templateu201D option and find user's template in the list returned. Opening that template should give you all information that you need to find the query and other related objects.

SQ01 -Unable to upload query

Dear Experts,
I had tried to upload query in QA Client after downloading it from DEV Client. But still I am unable to find query in QA client. I can only see User Group & infoset which are uploaded successfully. I checked in both standard & Global areas of query, but only I found are user group & infoset which I had created in DEV Client. I had followed the following steps to upload & download. Please correct me if I did anything wrong. Please suggest..
DOWNLOAD ABAP QUERY ( From DEV Client )
1. Go to SQ02 .
Select Environment -> Query Areas..
Select Standard Area (Client specific)
(If Query does not exist in Standard Area then You will have to copy that Query From Global Area to Standard Area.)
For Coping Query From Global To standard first select that query from list.
2)Now select Environment-> Transports
3)In next screen select Copy Global to standard radio button.
Check Overwriting allowed (only with import/upload/copy)
Remove Check for Test Run
Select Transport InfoSets and queries radio button
Fill Infoset and Query with corresponding names.
4)Now Press Execute button.Copy Log will be displayed.
Now Query exist in Global & Standard Area.
5) Go to SQ02 .
Select Environment -> Query Areas..
Select Standard Area (Client specific)
Select Infoset from list.
6) Select Environment -> Transports
7)Select Download radio button
Check Overwriting allowed (only with import/upload/copy)
Remove Check for Test Run
Select Transport InfoSets and queries radio button
Fill Infoset and Query with corresponding names.
8) Click on Execute button
Now It will ask you to save file.save it.
Now Opened another system (QA Client) to make copy of that infoset.
In the same way transport the User Groups using the Transport User GRoups radio button.
UPLOAD ABAP QUERY
1. Go to SQ02 .
Select Environment -> Query Areas
Select Standard Area (Client specific)
2. Select Environment -> Transports
3)Select Upload radio button
Check Overwriting allowed (only with import/upload/copy)
Remove Check for Test Run
Select Transport InfoSets and queries radio button
Fill Infoset and Query with corresponding names.
4) Click on Execute button.
It will ask you for the place for uploading file.
Select that place (from where you downloaded file).
Now infoset & query is uploaded.Log will be displayed.
in the same way download the user group also.
5)Go to SQ02
Select Environment -> Query Areas
Select Standard Area (Client specific)
SQ02 -> Infoset -> Generate.
Enter Yes.
6)Go to SQ01
Select Environment -> Query Areas
Select Standard Area (Client specific)
Enter your Query Name.
I entered the same query name, but still system is showing error message as"Query ZDMS1 has not yet been created"

I got the same problem recently in BI 4.1 Platform and all the permissions were already set, I mean on the universe and all others which are required but I found there was some problem in Dashboard Cache server, when I restarted that it worked fine ...
I was able to see the universe once I restarted it. I was getting a Java unable to invoke object Error..

Unable to find Cube / Query in Catalog (Designer)

Hello,
Our current environment consists of BW Queries which are access by BO Universes. When creating a Universe we were able to see all queries but since we did some changes to the MP and cubes we don't see the queries anymore from BO Side.
Also the current reports fail with an error "Unable to find Cube <QueryName> in catalog".
The queries used in the universes are still visible and accessible in BEx Analyzer.
What I tried so far (with a super user) is:
1. Generate query again -> no change
2. Save the query again -> no change
3. Remove the flag u201CAllow external Access to this queryu201D, save query and flag the option again -> no change
4. Activate the MultiProvider again -> no change
5. Copy the query to another query u2013
     -> New query is accessible. This means the MP and cubes are not the reason. It seems like the query is gone in an inactive modeu2026
6. Used BAPI BAPI_MDPROVIDER_GET_CUBES to get the list of accessible queries.
     -> I see the same list as in BO. Most queries are missing. The ones that are in the list disappear whenever we try to access these queries from BO.
Did anyone encounter the same issue and was able to solve it?
Environment: SAP BI 7.1 EHP1 SP5, BO XI 3.1 SP2(1.7).

your are talking about universe designer here - right?
We have the same behaviour currently in Crystal 2008 designer and universe designer.
In both we can see the same but not the complete list of queries.
We made sure the "allow external access" option is set in BEX.
We resolved both issues with same root cause : adjust Query properties -> Req. status ->   ...
Pls refer to thread Unable to find BW Query while creating connection with universe designer as well - thanks Ingo !
- logon to the SAP system
- start transaction RSRT
- enter the technical name of the BW query in the syntax CUBE/QUERY
- click Properties
- set the second item called Req.Status.
- set that one to 0

Unable to find Oracle quote Lines Data

Hi,
I have to find the query or any other data source which is getting the data for the Print quote report. I am unable to find out from where the data in report is being displayed.
The Flow is like...
Search for any quote.
Click on the quote link
One Drop poplist will be displayed. Select Print Quote
And click on the submit button. The PDF report generated,
Now I have to find out from where this data is coming. Can anyone help me on this.

This is a JTT page and there is no VO. If you wanna see how this report is built check out qotSCocPrint.jsp. Here data source are quoting classes. If u need any quoting related data y do u worry about source, y don't u directly hit quoting tables like aso_quote_headers_all and aso_quote_lines_all.

Frm-40505:ORACLE error: unable to perform query in oracle forms 10g

I get error frm-40505:ORACLE error: unable to perform query on oracle form in 10g environment, but the same form works properly in 6i.

Hi everyone,
I have block created on view V_LE_USID_1L (which gives the error frm-40505) . We don't need any updation on this block, so the property 'updateallowed' is set to 'NO'.
To fix this error I modified 'Keymode' property, set it to 'updatable' from 'automatic'. This change solved the problem with frm-40505 but it leads one more problem.
The datablock v_le_usid_1l allows user to enter the text (i.e. updated the field), when the data is saved, no message is shown. When the data is refreshed on the screen, the change done previously on the block will not be seen (this is because the block updateallowed is set to NO), how do we stop the fields of the block being editable?
We don't want to go ahead with this solution as, we might find several similar screens nad its diff to modify each one of them individually. When they work properly in 6i, what it doesn't in 10g? does it require any registry setting?

I was using HTML DB to execute a query. The region expected an item and based on
that item to retrieve a Clob and output to the GUI. Here is the PL/SQL code:

The query just took the CLOB content and divided it into table of varchar2(4000) base on chr(10). The query worked well in PL/SQL when I replaced htp with dbms_output.
The branching was the default one, "Redirect To Page 11 (the same page)". I only created one region, one item and one button. That branching was automatically created.

Unable to find the workbook on server while accessing woekbook

I am opening in query in Bex analyzer
After getting the result , I am saving the file as workbook in favourites folder
It is not giving any error. When I try to open the workbook It shows me the name in the favourites folder, but gives error "Unable to find the workbook on server"
If I close the Bex analyzer and open again, its now showing the file in favourites folder meaning file was not saved on the server. I tried with sap_all authorization

Unable to find the Expenditure Org in Pre Approved Exp Batch

Hi All,
In the Implementation Options
for our OU "SAV.OU", Under Expnd/Costing tab, System, Project setup tabs we have set the Start Organization to "SAV.OU". We are unable to find our organization in the LOV, but we are able to find our Business Group.
Please help us with the query

Classifinaction defination is perfect, but for some reason pa_all_organizations set inactive_date got updated.

Error - Unable to find the cube in catalog in Webi Report

Hi All,
We have a WEBI report built on SAP BW OLAP universe. The report is accessible from a user who has SAP_ALL authorization. However, a User role created to access and refresh the same report is giving the error message as below.
'' Unable to find cube <Multiprovider> in catalog $INFOCUBE (WIS10901)''
I have added the authorization object for BW workbench object Multiprovider and provided authorization. The same was tested in BW environment as well. However, the report could not be refreshed in BO WEBI.
SAP BW 7.01 and BO XI3.1.
Anybody who can help me on this? It could be that some authorizations are missing . But not sure how to trace what are missing.

Try searching for the InfoProvider/query in the transaction MDXTEST with the test user, you could get more detailed error messages there.

MBAM 2.5 Unable to find compatible TPM despite TPM available and device encrypted

We have just installed and are piloting MBAM 2.5. Everything seems to have gone fine, machines are checking in getting policies, encrypting as they are supposed to and we can query MBAM for recovery keys and TPM passwords to do recoveries as needed.
The only issue we have is when we come to look at the compliance reports we see the following
Enterprise Compliance report - Machines show 'Unable to find compatible TPM'
In Computer Compliance report for one of these machines , Protector type is TPM+PIN, Protector state is ON, Encryption State is Encrypted yet compliance status is Non-Compliant.
TPM is ON, Initialised and is v1.2
Any suggestions as to why my machines status is non-compliant?

I was having the same problem with some of my Dell Laptop clients and although the Hotfix did solve the problem, I thought it was worth mentioning the first time the client reported back to MABM after installing the hotfix, only the Compliance Status changed
from "Non-Compliant" to "Compliant" and the Compliance Status Details still showed "Unable to find compatible TPM". It took one more reporting cycle for the Compliance Status Details to show "No Error". I
would also like to mention there is no indication of anything wrong with these systems in terms of looking at them via the TPM.msc, MBAM Event Log or WMI Win32_Tpm class/properties. The systems encrypt the drive via MBAM normally...they just don't
report back to the MABM database properly. The computers are running the latest BIOS and I have reset the TPM Security BIOS settings back to their Defaults several times with the same results. Thanks for the hotfix!!!

Forest trust unable to find Active Directory Domain Controller

I have two domains with a two-way forest trust. We'll call them ForestA and ForestB. They're on seperate subnets. ForestA's DCs are in one physical location. ForestB's DCs are in two locations, one of which is shared with A.
I'm unable to route traffic directly from the remote DC in ForestB to the subnet ForestA is on, so I created a new DC in ForestA that sits on the subnet ForestB uses (basically, I can't route between subnets via the wireless bridge between locations, but
can within the same location).

I followed the instructions to set the new DC in forest A to be the only one the remote DC in forest B was aware of.
Nslookup ForestA.com resolves correctly to this DC, but I'm unable to validate the trust relationship, getting the error:
"Windows cannot find an Active Directory Domain Controller for the ForestA.com domain. Verify that an AD DC is available and then try again."
I'd appreciate any help.

In the event viewer, have you found any event id's that corrospond with this error? Have you ensured all ports required are open? Windows firewall is correctly setup? NIC is properly configured?

Unable to find connection 'MyConnection' for object MySetting

I have a connection string in my App.Config for Visual Studio 2012 Express for Desktop.
The App.Config and Connection String like following,

Suddenly, I got 'unable to find connection 'MyConnectionString' for Object MySetting, The Connection string could not be found, or data provider associated with Connection String could not be loaded' when I tried to config query on for Data Adapter on DataSet.xsd
files.
Any suggestions is appreciated,

Keith, I can already access the hidden status page, what it is NOT showing me, is the duration of my active connection which is what I need to see.

Unable to find OLD messages in RWB Adapter level message monitoring

Hi Experts,
I have peculiar issue regarding the messages at the adapter level.
I see some messages in SXMB_MONI. I take the message ID from MONI and go to the Adapter Level Message Monitoring in RWB, but i do not see any message for that message id.
This is not happening for recent messages, but some old messages (2 months or so), we are unable to find the message at the adapter level.
I also tried chosingthe option, display from archive, but no use.
Can someone help me out??

How do we do this?
How do we access the backend database?
Are the tools(SQL Client or Toad) freely available?
