Unable to find the specified site during the client push installation

One of the users at my site is trying to push the client but for some reasons, the site tab is showing blank.
Please assist!

Please make sure you can see the sites in Site Configuration of Administration workspace when you login with the user.
You could try to grant the permissions as the blog moutaz ibrahim provided to another user to see whether this user can see the site.

    Have a look in table T77S0 for an entry called QUALI ESSST and make sure the object ID stored there matches the appropriate node in your qualifications catalogue.
    This setting is designed to be used for restricting ESS users to a particular part of the Quals Catalogue.
    If the table entry was configured in your development system, it may not match the obect numbers in your production system.

    We're working on upgrading both the hardware and software on our application currently, and part of this involves upgrading our compiler to Sun Studio 12.1. I downloaded
    SunStudio12u1-SunOS-SPARC-pkgs-ML.tar.bz2
    from the Sun website and we installed it into the following location on our server:
    /opt/compiler/sunstudio12.1
    I successfully compiled all my code using the compiler, however, when I try to launch the debugger by typing ./sunstudio in the 'bin' directory, I get the following error:

    Sun Studio is unable to find a supported version of the NetBeans IDE.
    Sun Studio requires a NetBeans IDE version 6.5.1 with NetBeans C/C++ module (cnd
    2) enabled.
    Sun Studio looks for a valid NetBeans IDE installation in the following order:
    1) Location specified with --netbeanshome command line option
    2) At /opt/compiler/sunstudio12.1/netbeans
    I have seen references to executing 'prepare_system' on forums while I was trying to investigate this, but when our sys admin folks try to execute the command, it does not work (command not found). They've mentioned that they expected a prepare_system script in the directory where we untarred the downloaded sun studio tarfile, but it is not there:

    I can see a netbeans directory was created as part of the install, but I'm not sure why sun studio thinks netbeans is not available (afraid my knowledge about netbeans is practically non existent):

    Any advice appreciated on how to get the debugger working. Ideally, I'd prefer not to uninstall / reinstall if at all possible as we're about to start system testing our executables, and I think a reinstall would require more unit teting and delays to our project (yikes!).     First off - thanks for the response. I do have some follow up questions if you don't mind though:
    1. When you say the install is corrupted, do you suspect
    - the file I downloaded from the website either was corrupted, or was not the correct file for my platform
    - the procedure used to install the software was incorrect
    - something else
    2. Is there a logfile that the sun studio install creates which would indicate an error during the installation procedure? I'm sure our admins who performed the install would have shouted if an error was logged... but on the offchance that the installation does not 'shout loudly' for some errors, I'd like to see a log of the error. At a minimum, I'd expect it to say why the install failed, and what we need to modify to ensure a successful install next time 'round.
    3. I successfully compiled my code using the C compiler from the install. My unit tests also look good... does this suggest that the install was at least a partial success, and would you suspect that my recompiled executables are reliable, despite the fact that I cannot launch the IDE?
    4. Today, one of our admins telnetted to our unix server - not via exceed by the way, but he did try the following test:
    - set his display env variable (he knew he would not get a display however)
    - executed the sunstudio script
    He did not get the netbeans error, and the process appeared to be running (as I mentioned, without a display) until he killed it. I've asked if they can repeat the test using an exceed session. I thought there may be something on his $PATH that I did not have - unfortunately this was not the case (although, he may have access as 'root' to something that I require to launch the IDE). My question is, would you expect this behaviour if the install was corrupted?

    I'm following the system install instructions in the Grid Compute Utility guide, Appendix A "Building a Local Development Environment" and am getting stuck on step 4, installing sunstudio. I'm running Solaris 5.10 on x86 and can run netbeans IDE without problem. Here is some info, I'm not sure what other system info is relevant:

    /usr/bin/sunstudio

    Did you install NetBeans separately or let Sun Studio installer do it? The latter usually results in working configuration.
    I think that NetBeans installation simply doesn't have c++ pack; you can install one following usual NetBeans modules installation path and then re-try starting Sun Studio.
    Another option is to uninstall NetBeans and re-install Sun Studio using its installer, which should set up NetBeans properly.

    I get this error when trying to access my Wild Tree web site

    This message comes only on IE8 as I had installed Mozilla but that issue is not coming on Mozilla. I don't why this issue is coming and how to solve this issue. I had gone with every possible results which I found in google but noting seems to be helpful. Please

    This error usually occurs if IE is configured with the "Do not save encrypted pages to disk" advanced options setting or the server is using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and has added one or both of the following HTTP headers to the response message:
    e.g: Response.AddHeader "Cache-control: no-cache" or “Cache-control: no-store”.
    To solve this issue, please try to cancel the “Do not save encrypted pages to disk” option in the advanced internet options or setting the “BypassSSLNoCache” registry. For more details, please refer to

    I just received my acer aspire 1 netbook and i wanted to download firefox. I have used firefox before on my acer laptop but for some reason when I try to download it now i receive an error message similar to this one: :"unable to open this internent site. The requested site is either unavailable or can not be found" I tried downloading versions 3.6 and 4 beta and received the same message.

    I have faced some issues regarding integration between peoplesoft 9 [peopletools 8.48] and Oracle Fusion Middleware using BPEL.
    the error log shows the error

    I have searched forums and Some of them told that if external service operation and message name are not matching then this kind of error occurs.i have changed the alias name in routings>parameter page to my message name. But still it is not working.

    I hv used the userid PS in the node definition page of the anonymous node. Because previously I was getting the error that "Username is not defined in the database."
    What you mean is
    1) Should I removed the userid PS from the node definition page of the anonymous node ?
    2) The external Alias name in the routing parameter page is the same as the component interface and version v1 is added there as a suffix. I hv changed the external Alias name to my request and response message name. Am i doing right ? If I'm doing wrong then what should be the external alias name.

    We are facing the below exception intermittently on consuming the service.

    As the error message mentioned, it may be a mismatch between the configuration on the client and the server.Try putting all your configuration in a binding configuration and then use the same binding configuration on the server and client. Since this issue
    is more related with WCF, I suggest you move to WCF forum, it is appropriate and more experts will assist you.

  • Error MSB3323: Unable to find manifest signing certificate in the certificate store.

    Problems began when I received the MSDN Final VS 2005 v8.0.50727.42 and uninstalled the RC build which I had worked with without issue and replaced it with the previously mentioned.

    I have tested C++ project builds for managed and unmanaged code and both work without a problem. My C# projects however fail to build, the error I get is:

    I got the same problem but I was tring to strong name my application.  I was able to solve the problem by opening the XXX.csproj file in a text editor (notepad.exe) and remove the following tags from the XML.
    <ManifestCertificateThumbprint>...</ManifestCertificateThumbprint>
    <ManifestKeyFile>...</ManifestKeyFile>
    <GenerateManifests>...</GenerateManifests>
    <SignManifests>...</SignManifests>
    It seem that someone (another member of my team) was playing with the OneClick stuff, but didn't check in the strong name key files he used.  But did check in the project file.
    Then when I created the new strong name key file and signed the EXE, something was out-of-sync with the above tags in the probject file and the new key file.
    Removing these tags may be a bad thing (someone from MS will need to comment) but it worked for me.

    Hi DST,
    It might be that you are using someone elses DataSource hence you don't see the InfoPackage for your InfoSource and the other person has loaded data into all the data targets including yours. Hence you see the InfoPackage in the ODS.
    Try to find the InfoPackage location for all the InfoSources. in the InfoSources make select find and give the InfoPackage name from the ODS. It should give the location of the InfoPackage.

    Hello Everybody,
    I am using Sharepoint server 2013 , SQL Server 2012 SP1, PerfomancePoint and Reporting Services in SharePoint integrated mode.
    I built one report in SSDTusing an Analysis Services Cube. This report has 3 parameters. So the idea is use Dashboard Designer to use this SSRS Report and connect it with some PP Filters.
    The issue is that I am always obtaining "Unable to find report specified by URL,Please verify that both Server URL and Report URL are correct".
    I have the following settings in the PP Report:
    Server Mode: SharePoint Integrated
    SharePoint Site: http://MySharrepointSite:PortNumber/sites/bicenter
    Document library : Documents (selected from drop down, my report is deployed to document library)
    Report : report.rdl
    When I select the report from drop down list its giving the error in a pop up message box as "Unable
    to find report specified by URL,Please verify that both Server URL and Report URL are correct".
    I have tried to use the most simple report, only with one parameter, but is always displaying the error above.
    When I open the report directly from documents library its working fine and even it is working fine (
    when I deployed the report) but the issue is parameters are not showing.
    Any idea? Please help.

    Hello Tom,
    It should be "ReportServer" in the URL, not "ReportService".
    In "Reporting Service Configuration Manager" look up the correct URL. Open Internet Explorer with right-mouse click => "Run as Administrator" and open the URL, this should work. Navigate to "Side setting" (on top right side),
    go to tab "Security" and add your account with role "System Administrator". Afterwards you should be able to open the URL without running IE as admin.

  • Unable to find top level site associated with project site

    Hello!
    SP and PS 2013. I faced the problem with one project and its site synchronization.
    When user published this project at 1st time, the site wasn’t created (there were some errors), but user didn’t notice that. So, after few days when he couldn’t open
    the site, he ask me for help.
    I did my usual operations in such cases – I open “Connected sites” and create the site myself.
    Earlier there was not any problem with that. But now this project experiences some troubles with permissions sync for
    it’s site – there is no synchronization.
    I connected this problem with November CU, which has been installed couple of weeks ago.
    I have read about the same problems after upgrade, so I want to emphasize that site was created on the root site collection (Project Web App) and it is not a subsite
    of another project site.
    If there is no solution until next update, maybe there is some way to turn off permission synchronization only for this site?
    Any help will be appriciated!!!

    Hi Kate_S,
    since you are already aware that its a known issue caused Sep 2014 CU i believe, and an official fix has yet to release.
    but i would like to clarify here that this issue doesn't have anything to do with project site creation, because sync queue job while creating project site fails but does not block other queues activities. so your project site should be created in a normal
    way.
    and until official fix will arrive, 1 of the option is to change your project sites to provision under root site collection instead of PWA site collection. But be aware that this will fix sync issue only for new project sites.
    Go to Central Administratio -> PWA settings -> open site provision settings menu and made changes.
    2nd option is, since Project Owner always get access to Project site, to teach your project owners to include project team members manually to project site permission group to allow them to have access. this option can help you with both new and existing
    project sites, and i personally prefer this and did the same for my affected customers.
    Hope these 2 options will help you.
