Hi Kamlendra,
1) The report CRMC_R3_ORG_GENERATE was run without error's
2) Also check your org stricture- division and distribution channel will come under function tab- All my distribution channels and divisions have come under the function tab.
3) Run the report CRM_MKTBP_ZCACL_UPDATE_30 in SA38- Could you please throw light on this report, since we have not run this report, will the issue get resolved after running the report?

I'm new to this forum, hope someone can help me with this because it's really been causing a headache for a few days now.
I'm trying to deliver a flat file message with an interconnect standard ftp adapter. All the transformations go well but then i get this error message:

Any help appreciated.

I finally solved the problem: The name of the d3l xml file must be named with the name of the data type. Just thought i'd let anyone know.

• Unable to find key figure attribute in the cube

Hi all of you,
I am struggling while working on this "Display Attribute". Please read this and help me out.
I want to create attributes and then load data into a cube.
I had created an InfoArea IA_ATTRIBUTES.
Under this IA_ATTRIBUTES I created an InfoObject Catalog IOC_DISPATTR.
Under IOC_DISPATTR I created an InfoObject ZCUSTNUMB which is my primary key.
After defining the ZCUSTNUMB I clicked on the Attributes tab and entered the other attributes like ZCUSTNAME, ZCUSTADDR, ZCUSTREGI, ZCUSTLOCA, and ZPRICE. All of these attributes except ZPRICE are characteristics WHILE ZPRICE is a keyfigure.
I've also made sure that the Attributes only check box is not checked for all the characteristics.
I then activated the InfoObject ZCUSTNUMB and came back.
Now I created a cube DISP_ATTR. I clicked on the InfoObject Catalog button and selected the above mentioned catalog IOC_DISPATTR and transferred the IOs from the template into the structure.
Now when I transfer IOs in this way all the IOs both characteristics and key figures should come into the structure of the cube isnt't. But only characteristics have come and the keyfigure ZPRICE hasn't come.
Moreover when I hit on the key figures tab and hit on the find button and find ZPRICE I am getting a message saying "No (further) object found". So when I hit on the create button and create a key figure ZPRICE I am getting a message saying "InfoObject ZPRICE already exists as Key Figure (please rename)".
However when I double click on ZCUSTNUMB which is the primary key, the screen "Display characteristic ZCUSTNUMB: Detail" opens. In this screen I find all the attributes in the attributes tab that I had defined while defining attributes including ZPRICE.
So what I don't understand is when all the characteristics IOs are visible under the characteristics tab then why am I unable to find the key figure ZPRICE under Key figures tab when I created it while defining attributes. Can anyone please explain me this situation and tell me how should I find the key figure ZPRICE so that I can go ahead and create the cube.
Lastly I want to know what are the differences between InfoObjects and Attributes. Is an attribute also an IO?
Please explain.
I would appropriately rewards your answers.
Thank you.
TR.

Hi Oscar Romero,
Thanks a lot for your reply. As per your suggestion I created another IOC FOR key figures called IOC_ATTR_KF. In this IOC I had included the key figure ZPRICE and activated the IOC.
Now I have created a cube again ATTR_DISP. On the right corner where we find 5 buttons I clicked on the InfoObject Catalog button. The screen "Select InfoObject Catalog" opened displaying the IOC_ATTR_KF that I had created earlier. When I double clicked on the IOC_ATTR_KF I got the msg asking "Do you want to transfer the IOs from the template into the structure?" I clicked on Yes. But I don't find any key figures either in the Structure pane or in the Template pane. Both the panes are empty.
I also clicked on the All InfoObjects button and searched for ZPRICE but again I am getting the message "No "further) object found". However when I try to create ZPRICE I am getting the message ZPRICE already exists.
Please explain me why this is happening like this?

• Unable to find Transfer Rules and Data Source for 0PERSON Info Source

Hi,
I'am working on SALES ANALYSIS Configuration with the help of SAP Best Practices.
I'am trying to load Master Data Attributes/Texts/Hierarchies.
I'am able to load for allmost all the InfoPackages which i created for particular DataSource.
Now i need to load master data for 0PERSON InfoObject under that Person (Attributes) and Person (texts) are there, for this 2 Transfer Rules and the DataSource has to be defined by default as it is defined for other Attributes/Texts/Hierarchies.But i'am unable to find a DataSource and Transfer Rules to create a infopackage for PERSON Attributes and Texts.
Please gudie me with a solution in order to get these Transfer Rules and DataSource for this Attributes and Texts.
With regards,
Pradeep.B

Hi,
Install the corresponding master data objects from Business content. Go to data source find out the needed datasource, replicate it. If you want you can migrate it also.
If still you are not getting 0person masterdata object datasource & transformation structure, then you have to create the transformation, Infopackage.
Hope if you will install the business content again, it will solve your problem.

Would you please advise what next step should be?
Thanks in advance,

Name Null? Type
ID NOT NULL NUMBER(38)
THECLOB CLOB
The query just took the CLOB content and divided it into table of varchar2(4000) base on chr(10). The query worked well in PL/SQL when I replaced htp with dbms_output.
The branching was the default one, "Redirect To Page 11 (the same page)". I only created one region, one item and one button. That branching was automatically created.
Below was the output when I turned on the debug mode.

• How to find database attribute names that correspond to page labels

I've been tasked with creating one or more views to be used in creating reports. The users know data items by the labels on pages, not the database attribute names. So my dilemma is how to correlate the page labels to the database attributes.
For example, there's a course details web page. It includes items labeled "Replacement Course", "Inherited Competency Update Setting" and "Attachments", among others.
Focusing on "Inherited Competency Update Setting"... there's no database attribute called that. I've found COMPETENCY_UPDATE_LEVEL, but I don't know if that is it. And is an "inherited" one different than a non-inherited.
I've googled about, and discovered that "Inherited Competency Update Setting" can be set by using a workflow named OTA_COMPETENCE_UPDATE_JSP_PRC and setting an attribute named HR_APPROVAL_REQ_FLAG. Further research has lead me to determine that HR_APPROVAL_REQ_FLAG is used only within the workflow system. I've found in SYS.ALL_SOURCE a package OTA_COMPETENCE_SS with a function that gets that attribute's value. It includes a query against WF_ACTIVITY_ATTR_VALUES which retrieves values of YES_DYNAMIC, APPROVAL, NO, YES or NOTIFYONLY. I've not found any code that uses the function.
Using ALL_TAB_COLUMNS, I'd found COMPETENCY_UPDATE_LEVEL in OTA_OFFERINGS, which contains "APPROVAL" or null. So that may be what I seek, but I can't confirm it.
I also have been unable to find the translation from "APPROVAL" to "Notification, Automatic Update after Approval" (assuming I'm correct and this is the field)
I've found a Training Administration Technical Reference Manual for Release 11i, which contains information about the database, but I've found no corresponding document for Learning Management for 12.1 (Only installation and user guides).
And this is many days' research to find one attribute. Which I'm not certain I've found.
So, in this case in particular, or any case in general, how does one find the database name for an attribute, given the page label's text??
Thank you
Cornell

Whoa, easier than I'd thought...
When the page first shows up, there's the About This Page link, at the bottom, clicking it you get to the About Page.
I noted two sections, Page Definition and Business Component References Details.
I expanded Business Component References Details and found View Objects. There's a list of views used. I was dismayed that the views don't appear to be in the database. Of course, they're camelCased Java names of Java objects, not database names (although sometimes some of the camelCased tokens might correspond to parts of view names). They are, however, clickable and when clicked the definition shows up, and I was thinking that it would take a long while to find what I was seeking.
But... Hit the Expand All link in Page Definition, do a find on page for the desired label, and there it is... a row with the label, view object name and attribute! Pay dirt!
Then go to the Business Component References Details, find the View Object, click it, and there's the view :-) Find the attribute, then the table... easy peasy!
Thank y'all again

• Unable to find a WSDL that has a definition for service

Dear all
I have a very simple composite applicationexposing a web service. When I deploy the application I get:
There was an error deploying the composite on soa_server1: Deployment Failed: Unable to find a WSDL that has a definition for service {http://soa/sf/login}bpelprocess1_client_ep and port loginPort_pt. Please make sure that the port attribute for the binding defined in the composite file is correct by checking the namespace, service name, and port name. In addition, check that the WSDL associated with the binding namespace is imported and currently reachable (check the import nodes at the top of the composite file). Finally, validate the HTTP proxy settings for the server.
However the build process shows no errors. The entire application was built using Jdeveloper 11.1.1.5 using a pre-constructed WSDL. The SOA suite is 11.1.1.5
Any pointers will be really appreciated.
Thanks

• ERR-1002 Unable to find item ID for item

I just started playing around with Apex 4.0.2 and I had a question which might be quite basic, so please bear with me.
I created a report and a calendar which displays the same data (from a table) in different format. I want to create a link from the calendar to the report based on the data that is being displayed in the calendar to show more details about the calendar item. In the calendar page, I created a link under Column link and did the following:
SET these items: P2_START_DATE
With these values: 10-Dec-2010
When I click on the link from the Calendar page, it gives me the following error:
Error ERR-1002 Unable to find item ID for item "P2_START_DATE" in application "100"
The Report attribute START_DATE does exist in the Page 2.
How do I accomplish this ? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks and Happy Holidays !

Hi agopalan,
Actually the use of "Px_" is just a convention - but a very good convention to follow. You could name that item P7_START_DATE, MY_START_DATE or any other valid name and ApEx will still know it belongs to page 2 - but please don't do that!
You mention you have a report attribute START_DATE - do you mean a report column? If so, you can't set the START_DATE report column to a value - it isn't an item.
If you want the report to show details based on the calendar link clicked:
1) Create a hidden item called P2_START_DATE.
2) Include :P2_START_DATE in the WHERE clause of your report's SQL in whatever way you need to limit the report rows.
3) Keep your calendar link defined as-is.
That should do it.
Good luck with ApEx and Happy Holidays to you as well!
John

• Error ERR-1002 Unable to find item ID for item "ID" in application

Hi everyone,
I'm new to APEX and I've come across this error for the first time. I have a page with a classic report in it, and I want to create a link from one of the columns in the report (ID column) to another page with a classic report in it. So when I click on, say, ID 118, I want to be sent to the other page and to only see the information for ID 118.
After creating the column link I receive the error message when I run the application:
Error ERR-1002 Unable to find item ID for item "ID" in application
I've tried creating a link from one report to another before and it worked fine.
Thank you!
P.S. I'm using APEX 3.2

So, on page 1 I have some columns from a table (ID, name etc) and I want to link the values in the ID column to a report on page 2, so that the columns in page 2 (order no, type etc) show only the information for the ID I clicked on in page 1. I went to Page Definition -> Regions -> Report link -> click on the "edit" icon on the left of column "ID" and in the Column Link section I have the following:
Link text: #ID#
Link Attributes: title="Click to see deal information."
Target: Page in this application
Page: 2
Clear Cache: CIR,2
Item 1:
Name: ID
Value: #ID#
I have no item called ID on page 2.
Thank you!
Adina

Sorry, I can't help you.
It's been too long since I have used SoapUI.
What is "getAttribute"?
It is not a SOAP request.
I also do know what "www.novell.com/vdx/service" is.

• Unable to find channel ID

Hello,
I am running into some problems testing out a scenario using the test tool in the rwb that is supposed to do a simple map and write to a table using the JDBC adapter.
The error I get in the message monitor are:
Message Data - Error catagory: XI_J2EE_ADAPTER_ENGINE
Message Data - Error code: CHANNEL_DETERMINATION_FAILED
Audit Log - Error: Unable to find channel ID
Audit Log - Error: Delivery of the message to the application using connection AFW failed, due to: Couldn't find delivery channel for message:
Using the test configuration tool in the Configuration Bulider test is successful, it finds Rec Det, Interface Det, Interface Mapping and Rec Agreement etc.
If anyone can give me any pointers would be very appreciated!
Thanks
Nam

Hello!
Wow, that was quick!
I originally tried clicking directly on the adapter engine (central) and sending from there. That sends the message to http://ac4sap02:58100/MessagingSystem/receive/AFW/XI.
That generates the errors I listed below.
I tried following your weblog and clicking on the Integration Server and testing from there. Message is sent to:
http://ac4sap02:58100/sap/xi/engine?type=entry
This generates an error: Error when sending message: 404 Not Found.
When testing the engine service in SICF I get the errors below:
Pipeline specified in URL attribute (type) not existing
URL_PIPELINE_NOT_FOUND
Pipeline ID , which is expected as value of attribute "type" in the URL, does not exist in the Integration Engine (URL = /sap/xi/engine?sap-client=510
Thanks!
Nam
