Unable to fully view newly purchased ebook?

Well, i Just purchased an ebook for college and am very stressed to find out that it doesnt open correctly. I already contacted the retailer about the problems I have been having with opening this ebook, but in the end, they couldnt help me, stating it is a problem with adobe's Digital editions.
I basically downloaded the e-book, which was an .etd file extension (on windows vista), double clicked that file, and I could only view the title page and the author page. After that, its just a bunch of blank pages with select undreadable diagrams on some pages.
Upon opening digital editions, i am welcomed with this error message:
Adobe DRM Error
System: 5
State: 4
Class: 0
Code: 0
Message: EBX HTTP error with no thread ??
---end---
The retailed suggested that the problem lies within Adobe's DRM, and I have no idea what to do. They had never experienced this problem before with their ebooks.
Any ideas? This is really frustrating.

Hi there. I recently updated to the latest version of itunes, and am unable to get newly-purchased ibooks onto my ipod - I don't see any way to click and drag the ibook. Am I missing something?

This is a copy of ONEof the keys in the registry I changed as told by Apple support today. I also have changed others as instructed by GEAR software support to manually delete GEAR drivers (that I had installed but couldn't delete some of the others they mentioned from Windows system 32. Then some bright spark at work told me I need the Gear drivers so I downloaded the software and installed again.
Sorry, just this minute went to insert image and it is giving me a message saying this sort of content is not allowed?.

Can't figure out how to view newly purchased video

I just bought a couple of music videos from the i-tunes store and it shows them in my "Purchased" playlist when I'm logged into the store, but I can't find them on my ipod

I have the same problem. The videos play in iTunes
and the iPod says it has stored them but they aren't
anywhere to be found on the iPod.
I can't even see them anyplace on my iPod

I cannot view newly purchased movies in iTunes.

I get the following error message "This movie requires QuickTime, which is not supported by this version of iTunes." Some older movies still play fine. I am running iTunes 10.6.1(7) and Mac OS X 10.7.3. Can anyone help?

I get that and that it cannot play video on any IPad. Nice going Apple; where is the Quality control checks. This has just hosed up a lot of items. When is this going to be resolved????? It is a bit of drag opening in 32 bit mode to be able to use content pulled from Itunes Store.

Unable to sync newly purchased songs to my ipod nano

I have a new computer running Windows7 with Itunes and am unable to sync newly purchased songs to my shuffle device. I can, however, sync purchased songs from my Ipod shuffle to my computer.

In iTunes 11 use the View menu to show the Sidebar or left column. Select your phone there. Then the familiar row of tabs will appear to the right. Select Music, scroll down to add what you want then scroll to the bottom to find Apply or Sync.

Purchased content MAY be available for redownload - Music for sure. I think books are NOT available for redownload (not sure).
Best practice is to keep the content on a desktop computer to be able to resync when necessary (or use a cloud service like Drop Box).

Unable to view my purchased moves within my Mac

I am unable to view my purchased movies within my macbook pro laptop iTunes. Yet, I am see them on my desktop's iTunes; what am I doing wrong here? My iTunes on my laptop shows that I am signed on so there everything should be seamless? Please help!

Here's the two things I can think of to check:
Go to "iTunes" in the Menu bar at the top of the screen > Preferences > Store > Make sure that "Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases" is checked.
Go to "View" in the Menu bar at the top of the screen > Click "Show Movies in the Cloud" if that's an option (If it's already checked then the only option will be to Hide them).

Buyer is unable to view the purchase order in advance search screen

Hi Experts,
I have an issue, the issue is when a shopping cart is created by the requisitioner and got approved, following document purchase order is created.
When buyer is trying to view the purchase order in advance search he could not view the purchase order.
Zero results found message is populating when buyer wants to retreive the purchase order, buyer wants to delete the purchase order, but he is not able to view the purchase order in advance search.
Can anyone among you let me know what can be done to acheive this.
Your quick help is highly appreciated.

I have checked the status of the PO and it is in ordered state, I am able to view the PO because i have local admin role productin support role.
But when buyer is trying to retrieve the PO it is not happening even though the user has buyer role.

Legitimate newly purchased Premiere Elements-10 32-bit install files not available

Friends:
I purchased an $1100 Nikon camera and the deal included OEM PS Premiere Elements 10.
Legit purchase with a CD and legit Serial #.
Can't install because what is Adobe's fault, not the camera vendor's and certainly not mine.
Adobe's own published notice:
"The 64-bit version of Adobe Premiere Elements 10 only installs on Windows 7 64 bit. If you have Windows XP 64 bit or Vista 64 bit, it's necessary to install the 32-bit version. Because the Adobe Download Assistant automatically downloads the 64-bit version in error, it's necessary to download the 32-bit version manually through alternate means."
The problem is that the same holds true for installing on XP Pro SP3 and Adobe makes no mention of it in the above admission.
Then, Adobe's own Solutions 1, 2 & 3 for manual download all fail, even after fussing for days over it.
Even Solution 3, the last ditch option, fails perhaps because Elements 11 is out and Adobe has killed the 10 download Ftp sites.
Files I am unable to download from Adobe (without entrapment by so called Free Dowload sites) are:

I must mention in this context my own (and thousands of others') sad experience with Flash updates. Just follow
my own (and others') posts in Adobe forums. Plus, just read the Internet posts along these lines:
"It's impossible to download anything from Adobe. I have given up and I have given up on Adobe products."
Not that I want to, but I am forced into echoing the same sentiment.

The ...7z file is 1.37 Gb long. I have super high speed Fibre Optic Internet connection with Bell. I rarely have the ocassion to download files of this size. After downloading more than 1 Gb, the transfer hung - either at the Client end, or at the Server end. Bell is sending tech Thursday to mitigate some line noise they detected. Hopefully, the stars will fall into the right place before long.

Hi, Thank you so much for the info.... I really do appreciate it. We had the laptop updated by way of a system upgrade with RAM and an additional SSD drive. Once reconfigured all programs were reinstalled but Iphoto is not among them. Iphoto was on the laptop when purchased so we have no additional discs. Before the laptop was updated we backed the photos up to an extrenal hard drive so we have them, but cant access them. Could I purchase Iphoto 8 stll? Would this work? We would also require an external CD drive as we no longer have the disc drive in the laptop (I think the extra new bits took over). You may have noticed I have very limited knowledge on computers so any help dispite how simple it may sound to some would help me greatly. I just want all my photos back .... Thanks inadvance... I’ve owned Macs since 1990 (IICX my first), mostly desktops. Having had DVD/CD drives in all my previous laptop Macs since 2001 - (2) G4 Powerbooks, A 17” Mac Book Pro - and also inspecting a friend’s year-old Mac Book Pro which had the DVD slot - unless someone told me at purchase, I had no reason to know that the Retina display version of the 15” had NO DVD drive. ANYHOW, I fully intended to buy the non-Retina display version, because it was cheaper. Unfortunately by the time I got to the Apple store they were no longer selling the non-Retina display version; all versions were ONLY with the Retina display. And the fine distinction of a DVD vs. a non-DVD drive was not pointed out. So now I have to shell out an additional $80 bucks for an external SuperDrive.

Issue deleting websites on newly purchased Ipad 4

I recently purchased an iPad 4. While browsing the web using Safari, I noticed that the Newegg website was showing as a website recently visited. It had a web address link to it.. The odd thing was, I had never visited the website from the iPad. It also had a link to a part of the website that I had viewed on my iPhone for a specific product. However, this was days before I had even turned on the iPad (wasn't sure if it somehow linked up). I have already cleared the Internet history and cookies under the settings for Safari. However, this has not worked at removing the website. Has anyone ever had this issue on a newly purchased iPad? I just find it very strange that I cannot delete the Newegg website links. I find it even stranger that it has these links to Newegg when I have never visited the website on the iPad. Any thoughts? Please let me know if any additional information is required. Part of my concern is that I could be using a used Apple iPad or that it could be hacked, even though I purchased it from Best Buy. Thanks for all your help!

It might be sharing a web history with your other Safari browsing devices (MacBook/iPhone/iPod) and if it is, you may be viewing a page that you originally pulled up on lets say your iPhone. If you did, you cannot delete a iPhone browsed page with an iPad connected to the same account. You would need to pull up the browser history on your iPhone and delete the selected pages. Not sure if this will even help, but I figured it's worth a whirl
