Unable to generate a multiple field nVision report from a  layout

Hi,
I have developed an nVision layout that lists the Budget Vs Actuals for specific Account nodes from an Account tree and works well . But as per the requirement, I am needed to include a second chartfield (CLASS_FIELD) in the report. In other words, the report needs to show the Budget Vs Actual amounts for all the Class Fields associated with each Account. For this , I have added column criteria for Budget and Actuals, and row criteria for Accounts , but I am stuck at adding the second Chartfield criteria at the row level , which is CLASS_FLD (for example, Labor and Other); i.e On the same row that I added ACCOUNT criteria, I have added additional Field in the Layout Defintion > Filter > Fields and Dimensions – added CLASS_FLD after ACCOUNT. When I run the report, the results show only the breakdown by Account but not with the additional Class field values.
I am aware we could achieve this by a Drilldown but the users are looking this in the original layout itself. Please advise. thank you!!

Hi Mr.Bob,
Sorry I forgot to thank you in my earlier post...thanks a lot for your input

  • Unable to paste to multiple fields in infopath 2010

    Hello all,
          I have been pounding my head against a lot of other sites to see if I can find the answer to this question. MY company has created a sharepoint for the sales team and in that SP they have created info path documents that contain
    "packages". In the packages they have multiple fields like drop down boxes, text boxes, etc. The document comes with the ability to copy all the fields in one fell swoop and, in some cases, allows you to paste those fields in a newly created package.
    All computers are up to date including the SP 2010 server. We are running Windows 7 64bit OS as well as Windows 8.1. This does not affect all machines. Only three so far.

    Hi JimRHunter,
    According to your description, my understanding is that you want to copy InfoPath forms with multiple fields form from one library to aother library.
    How did you do for the copy ability in the packages library?
    For implementing your requirement , you can try to add a workflow in the packages library, the workflow contains the ‘Copy ListItem’ action. In the action, you can set it to copy current item to the goal libray. About this workflow, you can start it when
    a new item is created or when  an item is changed, and you can also set it to start manually. Once you start the workflow, the item will be copied to the goal library. Please have a try.
    The workflow is like:
    I hope this helps.

  • Unable to generate XML's for BLOB datatypes from Concurrent program

    Hi All,
    I've a requirement to print images on rtf layout. Images are uploaded by end user through attahments men
    there are getting stored in fnd_lobs tables.
    for printing blob images we need to convert them into CLOB and generate XML's.
    I've done the conversion through a function and calling the function in the select query which is generating XML when i run it from toad.
    SELECT xmlgen.getXml(
    'SELECT file_id,mob_getbase64String(file_data) photo
    FROM fnd_lobs
    WHERE file_id = 2490481'
    ,0
    ) FROM dual;
    But the same thing we i registered as concurrent program (SQL*Plus) the program is running into error.

    Can anyone help me through on how to bypass this error and generate XML's.
    Thanks in Advance

    Hi Priya..,
    I have changed the query and registered in apps and now i am able to generate XML's of the blob image and the same is getting printed on the tempate..
    DECLARE
    v_colb CLOB;
    v_query VARCHAR2(1000);
    BEGIN
    v_query := 'SELECT file_id,mob_getbase64String(file_data) photo

    fnd_documents_vl fd
    WHERE fd.media_id = fl.file_id
    AND (fd.end_date_active IS NULL
    OR fd.end_date_active > SYSDATE)

    AND fd.security_id = fnd_profile.value(''GL_SET_OF_BKS_ID'')';
    --FND_FILE.put_line( FND_FILE.LOG,v_query);
    v_colb := xmlgen.getxml (v_query, 0);

  • Width of field in Report From SQL Query

    I have created a report from SQL query with 15 columns being selected. However, no matter what column width and column type (pixel, char, percent) I enter in the column formatting tab of the report, I cannot get the report to format the column to the width I desire. It is always a fixed width. Does anyone have any suggestions?
    Thanks,
    Martin

    Hi,
    Char (used for ASCII format)
    Displays the output in the specified number of
    characters per line. For example, if you enter 20
    in Width, the report displays 20 characters of the
    column data in each line. If the number of
    characters per line exceeds the specified
    number, the remaining characters are wrapped
    to the next line.
    Pixel
    Displays the output in the specified number of
    pixels per row. For example, if you enter 10 in
    Width, the column data displays 10 pixels of
    data per line of the displayed table.
    Percent
    Displays the output in the specified percentage
    of the table. For example, if you enter 25 in
    Width, the column data displays in 25% of the
    displayed table.
    Thanks,
    Sharmila

  • Generate reports from Oracle XBRL Extension

  • Error while creating Data Form Definition report from Planning

    Hi All,
    Working on Planning 11.1.2 (x64)
    I tried to generate a Data Form Definition report from Planning and found that I get an error if I select the option "Include member selection list". By going a bit deeper, I realised that it errors for some forms while works fine for others.
    I have tried to find any differences in setting or selection between the forms but haven't been able to see anything that struck me as a reason for error.
    Help please.
    Thanks,

  • Unable to generate Pdf report for crystal 9/10  in Windows 2012 (Standard) server with Times New Roman font. With same font, report getting generated in excel, text, csv format in Windows 2012.

    For Times New Roman font in Windows server 2012 R2 (Standard), crystal 9/10 report in pdf format is not getting generated. When we change the font for specific report like Arial, Calibri , Cambria then pdf report getting created.
    In Windows 2008 R2, same application worked fine to generate pdf report for TimesNewRoman font and there is no change done in the application which is being used in Windows 2012 R2 server.

    Ok, thanks for the reply. You need to contact support or a forum for the Crystal software. Third party products don't usually include Adobe technology, they have their own software. When you contact them, you may want to expand "unable to generate" to give any specific symptoms including any error messages.
