Unable to get Adobe ExportPDF to perform as advertised

I can send you the original pdf and the output docx files, showing that the tick-box graphics have been converted into non-editable upper-case "D"s, some text has gained additional spaces between words, the tab leaders have also gained additional spaces, and the header graphic has lost part of its border. Please supply a product that does what it is advertised to do or refund my payment and cancel my subscription.

Sorry to hear you're having problems. You can send your original file using the following Conversion Issue form and Adobe will take a closer look at the file.
Or, you can follow these instructions to cancel your Adobe ExportPDF service.

  • Unable to get Adobe Reader to open.

I am unable to get Adobe Reader to open. I am on Windows XP, SP3 and I have tried with Adobe Reader 9, 10, and 11. When I try opening a PDF file, if I look in the Task Manager, the AcroRd32.exe process will appear, however nothing shows up under the Applications tab.

OK, I got my Adobe Reader working. The solution for me was found on the "Acrobat failed to load its Core DLL--can't open pdf files as a result<http://forums.adobe.com/thread/391917?tstart=0>" thread. It was post 51 on the thread by envsafety and it involved downloading and running

Hello, I have a new Mac Book Pro and I am unable to get Adobe flash player to work. When I install it it says it has been installed. But where do I see the application that it is there?

    Check your system preferences.
My copy of flash installed as a preferance pane.
If its there you will be able to check the current installed version and set preferences for flash and updating.

  • Unable to get Adobe X

I am very frustrated for days.  I have repeatedly tried to download Adobe Reader X and nothing seems to happen.
I am very minimally computer competent, I have Windows Vista, that's about all I know.
Is there a way to have Adobe company experts remotely access my computer and get this reader installed for me???
Thank you for your time and help.

Thank you for your suggestion, Pat.
I just tried to download 9.5 to see if that would  work before buying a
stick(never used one),  going to library,  etc.
The Adobe program goes much further along in  the verification and other
pages than for the X, but eventually it says I need  to close 9.0.
What I have is labeled as 9.1~~~is that the same as 9.0 and should I
    uninstall the  9.1?????
Sorry I'm so incompetent with stuff that is so easy  for all of you.  Your
    patience is greatly appreciated.

You cannot download programs from anywhere but the official App Store.
Flash is not available but Adobe does have a version of Adobe reader in the App Store-it is for reading PDFs.

  • Ho w do I get Adobe ExportPDF to work on a new PC

Hi. I recently bought a new PC and do not know how to get Adobe ExportPDF to work. It used to appear on the right side of the screen whenever I wished to convert a PDF to WORD. Is there a way to display it? When I sign in I just get a list of recently converted files!

In an attempt to be helpful in this thread, I present you with this:

  • How can I get Adobe ExportPDF to put data from in columns?

I have just bought a subscription to ExportPDF
I sent is a PDF of an old bank statement that I need to get into Excel.
The result is extraordinarily pathetic: it has put the whole row ie details, into a single cell.  The result is like this:
    tlNT·Inte rest          NDC   SCOT ORIENT SMALL                 1300.00 27JAN      5647.76
LST·List of Items  NDC   GREENE KING PLC                   928.00 30JAN      6575.76
Of course I want to add up the numbers to get totals etc. Now I could have done what you see there by copying and pasting to Excel.  I have paid money for this service and I expect to see some intelligent programming.  That is not a very difficult job as I know well.
Is there a different setting that can solve my problem?
    Patrick

Perhaps the PDF has been configured to make use of PDF's "page labels".
When using Adobe Reader with the PDF open look up at the "ribbon" / "toolbar" that is at the top of the application window.
    If you see something like:
A (1 of 590) or i (1 of 590) or something similar then Page Labels are being used.
Example - Let's say that you have "some character"(22 of 590) then use the "some character" value to denote the "page" in the page range selection of the Print dialog.
n.b.,  Page Labels can be configured with Acrobat but not with Adobe Reader.
    Be well...

Don't download, just start using it. Either click TOOLS then EXPORT in Adobe Reader, or sign in to http://exportpdf.adobe.com

  • Adobe ExportPDF ERROR: "An error occurred while trying to access the service"

I have been attempting, for two days, to get Adobe ExportPDF to convert a PDF file (appx 32mb, orignially created in Word, but with handwritten notations throughout) to Word (either .docx or .doc, or even RTF). The app spends about 5-10 minutes processing the document, then I get the error cited in the question. I have gone through the forums to looks for solutions, and I have (as a result) turned off the OCR and changed it to "Do not recognize text" to try and remedy this. I have also tried this over two days to best ensure that this is not an Adobe server error. Can anyone help?  I should also note that the app did successfully process two PDF documents prior to this attempt with the larger document. I am running iOS 10.8.3 on a Mac Pro desktop.

Im sorry - I mistyped. It is OS X 10.8.3. Not iOS.

  • Unable to Launch Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 using High-Performance on AMD Radeon Graphic Card

I have been unable to launch Adobe Premiere Pro since installing it with the error message "Adobe Premiere Pro could not find any capable video play modules. Please update your video display drivers and start again"
    Here are my specs:
    Lenovo Ideapad U400
    Windows 7 (64bit)
    Intel i5 2.5 ghz processor
    AMD Radeon 6470M graphics card
The only occasion during which I have successfully launched Premiere Pro was after reverting to the default graphics card on my computer and uninstalling AMD Radeon, otherwise, I have tried to change Premiere Pro to run on High-Performance on Catalyst Control Center to no avail, I do not wish to revert to the Standard Graphics Card as it slows down my computers performance one hell of a lot, neither do I wish to have to constantly uninstall and reinstall my AMD Radeon Graphics Card when I use Premiere Pro. Thank you for your time.

    Update:
    - with Intel (R) HD Graphics Card disabled, Catalyst Control Center reports that no AMD Graphic card is installed
    - using Device Manager under Control Panel, AMD Radeon 6470M was verified to be up-to-date
    - Premiere Pro works so long as I disable the Intel card before launch, however, I re-enable it upon startup to get rid of the 800x600 resolution
    - AMD Mobility Radeon Driver Verification Tool is unable to verify and update my driver, refers me to lenovo to update it.
    - My graphics card is up-to-date as verified by lenovo
    - Intel (R) HD Graphics Card now up-to-date
    - Display currently mainly using Intel (R) HD Graphics Card (Possibly why it caps resolution at 1024x768 when disabled) I'm not sure how to switch the main Graphics Card used, Catalyst Control Center doesn't seem to have the option.
    - when disabled, computer reverts to vgasave instead of Radeon
    - Disabling Radeon does nothing to existing display
    - After updating my Intel card, Catalyst Control Center reported CCC was not supported by the current display adapter
    - CCC worked after rolling back Intel card
From what I infer, I believe the problem to root from my intel card being the main card used, if there is anyway to switch my radeon card to the default instead of the Intel card, do tell me, I believe this may solve the problem, I apologise for troubling you guys, and I'm starting to feel that I shouldn't be troubling Adobe with my problem with AMD, this discussion is probably really out of place but I hope it will help out others with a similar problem.

Hi! I believe you are trying to ask a question about Adobe Acrobat Standard. If that is the case, asking in the Acrobat forums would get it a quicker response. This forum is for Adobe Connect.
Otherwise if I mis-assumed, please rephrase to help us better understand the issue at hand.

    Hi there,
It sounds like there may be an issue with the quality of the PDF. Not all PDFs are created equal, and especially those created from scanned documents can be problematic if the scan quality isn't the best. Is there a dark background on the PDF, or stray marks or smudges?
You can try converting with OCR disabled at outlined in this document: How to disable Optical Character Recognition (O... | Adobe Community. But, while that's a good test to find out where the problem lies, you'll end up with a Word document that isn't editable, so it's not an optimal solution.
Please let us know how it goes.
    Best,
    Sara
