Unable to get in to Email

Having just set up my son's new iPad, I wanted to send an test email. So, from home page:
a. Touch Mail
b. Get a Welcome to Mail screen
c. Touch iCloud
d. Get a small screen with iCloud sign-in window (Cancel/Next) and keyboard below
e. Complete sign-in ICloud ID and password details and touch "Next"
f. After a verifying cycle
g. Get window saying "my [email protected] is Already Added
h. Touch "OK"
i. Left with d above!!
h. If I hit Cancel it just goes back to b above.
Help!! - how does one escape this vicous circle?

Try going to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars and adding the desired address from there. If it's already there, try quitting the Mail app and relaunching:

  • HT4623 During my update to the new operating system I am unable to get past Rescue EMail. I tried not putting in another e-mail as it says it is optional - that did nto work. I entered a Rescue E-Mail and it will not allow me to go to the next step. Help

    During my update to the new operationg system I am unable to get past the Restore E-Mail. I first chose not to have an "optional" restore e-mail and was unable to get past this section. I then entered an alternate e-mail with the same results. I am unable to get past this section after I push the Next symbol. HELP!

    You must delete the email account, restart the phone by holding the HOME and SLEEP buttons until an Apple logo appears, then add the account back by selecting "Microsoft Exchange" as the account type.

    I have followed all the instructions and triple checked for accuracy. First, I get some type of "SSL" error message, then I get a message stating that my email account cannot be verified.

    Is your Google Apps mail set for IMAP?
    I recommend you move to IMAP first if possible.

  • Just updated to Photoshop Elements 12 and am unable to send photo via Adobe email.service. I am unable to get a verification code via email to be able to continue the email transmission.

    How do I get a verification code which I need to send photo via email from Photoshop Elements 12?  Instructions say that I'm to receive verification code via email but none arrived.

  • Unable to get in to blackberry app world! Please help?

    I have a blackberry curve 8520, and every time I go into app world it asks me to log in, I cannot remember my username, and im unable to get into my email account as it was hacked. As a result I was going to delete my app world I have at the moment, re-download it and make  a new id, but it will not let me? what can I do in order to download apps?

    I am trying to get apple (Iphone) device certificate to test MDM solution. For this when I request for certificate on "https://identity.apple.com/pushcert/" normally apple sent a verification email to ID that is registered with Apple.     Particularly:
    Tap Safari and attempt to load a webpage (try any webpage). If you can load a webpage, then your device has Internet access. If you are unable to load a webpage, follow these troubleshooting steps.Try to use an alternate Internet connection if available:
    Try a different Wi-Fi connection
    If your iOS device has an active cellular data plan, tap Settings > Wi-Fi and turn off Wi-Fi.
    If the affected email account is provided by your Internet provider, see if your issue is resolved while connected to your home Wi-Fi network.*
    Log in to your email provider's website to ensure that the account is active and the password is correct.
    Restart your iOS device.
    Delete the affected email account from your device.
    Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
    Choose the affected email account, then tap Delete Account.
    Add your account again.

    After reviewing your post, I believe your device is under Activaltion Lock. The following article will provide you with more information about the feature:
    iCloud: Activation Lock
    With iOS 7 or later, Find My iPhone includes a feature called Activation Lock, which is turned on automatically when you set up Find My iPhone. Activation Lock makes it harder for anyone to use or sell your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch if it’s ever lost or stolen. 
    With Activation Lock, your Apple ID and password are required before anyone can:
    Turn off Find My iPhone on your device
    Sign out of iCloud on your device
    Erase and reactivate your device
    Important:    Make sure to remember your Apple ID and password, and that your password is unique and secure—someone else shouldn’t be able to guess it. For more information, see the Apple Support article Security and your Apple ID. 
    If you want to give away or sell your device, be sure to erase your content and settings (in Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings). When you erase your content, Find My iPhone and Activation Lock are also turned off.

  • 8520-unable to get email settings in the set up folder

    I have only had this for 2days and I am unable to get the emails working, in the set up tables the email setting icon is not there and when I try to set up the email in the set up wizard, email set up only gives 1 option ' I want to use a work email account with blackberry enterprise server' which I don't I wan to connect to my home email address with Sky Email

    This appears to be a common issue and there are several threads about this....
    I am having the same issue with msn email.  I got the message yesterday from Blackberry to change my password.  No luck in doing that nor in deleting the email service and adding it back.  I think this is on the Blackberry side of things not MSN.  I greatly depend on having mobile access to my email and this service level won't cut it.  So far Blackberry is a Fail for me due to this as well as a host of other things.  I guess it is time to go back to something else. 
    I'll keep trying and post back if my email service eventually gets successfully added back to my blackberry.
    Edited to add:  I tried adding my son's msn account and it set up just fine via the web at blackberry service and also again via email setup on my phone.  When I use the web based email setup process I receive an "invalid email or password: error.  When I use the blackberry handheld email setup application I get an error message that says "Unable to set up email.  Please try again."  Yes - I am sure I am using the right msn password - I have signed on to my account several times to be sure.  This is incredibly frustrating.  Any ideas at all?  Is this the only support that is available - asking other users? 

  • From 27 June unable to access my TalkTalk email inbox it says "You have undefined new emails in your inbox". Also can't get CONTACTS. I assume a Firefox problem as I can get email via Safari or Int Exp. Any solutions? Chris Marshall.

    I go to Firefox, then Bookmarks and click Talktalk (email server).
    Log in to email but then get above message and unable to operate my talktalk email.
    All is ok if I go through Safari or Int Exp.

    Apparently TalkTalk mail will work with Firefox 4 and Firefox 5 ''if'' you set the browser to ''lie'' to TalkTalk mail by saying that you are still using version 3.6.
    You can find the instructions for that in a post on the TalkTalk forums: [http://www.talktalk.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=185113#post2452787 Firefox 4 & TalkTalk webmail - Forums].
    Note: when you open about:config the first time, it will display a warning message that you should be careful with the changes you make. That's definitely good to bear in mind.

    What's your Portal version? In 9.0.2.6 and above you can retrieve Email information from the Oracle Internet Directory (OID).
