Unable to get Report window

Im a new user of ARD 2.2 and I try to get 2 compuerts report but the report window's has not allowed to select System Overview, does any body know what's happening...?

Steps Followed
1. Prepared RDF report and the same linked in EBS runs successfully.
2. Changed output format to XML and style as A4 and style required selected
3. Prepared RTF file in Word
4. Created Data Definitions in XML Publisher Administrator
5. Created Template in XML Publisher Administrator
6. Uploaded RTF file Thru template in XML Publisher Administrator
When executing the request excel format is coming but no data was fetched on only header and field name.
As an example attaching excel output file, RTF template and Reports RDF file.
Please check and support.

What happens is the output format is PDF? Do you get any output?
Also please check the RDF's SQL query. It might not be fetching any rows.

I am unable to get the windows TIP for Tablet PCs to auto pop up when clicking with a stylus or my finger. What add-on/setting will fix this?

I have a lenovo Thinkpad Convertible tablet. In the past I've been able to get it were the Windows TIP pops up when I click on a text input field. This function no longer works, I have a new computer, and whatever change I'd done to my old computer is not readily apparent. Any help in getting text input fields to pop up the TIP automatically would be great. Until then, in tablet mode, I have to use my computer with IE or keep the TIP at the taskbar to click on, but that's a lot of movement and rather annoying.

Note the underscore instead of the dot.
I had to enable this settings for TIP to work on my HP EliteBook 2740p after installing the driver from Wacom's website.
When I was using the Wacom driver supplied from Windows Update however the TIP worked even fine without this setting.

FRM-41217 Unable to get report job status

Hi everyone
Um running a forms9i (9.2.0.4.0) application on XP which connects to an oracle9i database. I recently moved the database to a new server but since then all reports do not run as I am getting the said error. No changes have been made to the location or content of the application. Could someone explain how this would be resolved?

does the Reports Server queuemanager shows any activity (e.g. Reports that fail) ? Can Reports connect to the database (e.g. can you run the Reports from a URL using teh http://server:port/reports/rwservlet?server=...&report=...

Have you tried tapping away at the F11 key immediately after powering on to see if it will boot into Recovery Manager to reset back to Factory?
If that fails and you have not burned your Recovery Disk set you can phone HP to order a set.

FRM-41214- unable to run reports

Env:
Solaris running 6i forms and reports server patched to patch 9.
when calling report from form using run_report_object, I get
FRM-41214- unable to run report
FRM-41217- Unable to get report job status
FRM-41213- Unable to connect to report server RepsrvSMARTS
This only occurs for one of the reports. I am able to run a different report
with no problem.

My guess is that the problem identified in bug 1731733 is the root cause. It manifests itself in various ways (see related bugs). The base bug is 1953704 and is fixed in Net80, and is available in one-off patches for various platforms, including Solaris.

Unable to get Window Handle for the 'AxCrystalActivXViewer' control.

I have Operating System : Windows 7 and Application developed in VS 2005 and I am using Crystal Report XI licenced version.
But when I am trying to use TTX(Field Defination) based reports it gives me "Unable to get Window Handle for the 'AxCrystalActivXViewer' control. Windowless ActivX Controls are not supported."
Please provide me solution for this ASAP as I am stucked on this from long lomg time.

I have an EZ Vinyl/Tape Converter (MixMeister) to record vinly records to my computer; which then is supposed to automatically download to my iTunes program. But it does not. It records and stores (somewhere) in the computer, but when it is supposed to be exported into iTones, I get a window that says something about incompatability and/or "close other windows in iTunes; but there are no open windows and iTunes is closed. I followed all instructions to EZ Vinyl to the T, but no export/import to iTunes. What am I doing wrong? What do I need to do? THX!

Tony, thanks so much. The message reads: "Unable to export to iTunes. Please make sure you close any active windows in iTunes. Would you like to try exporting again? [Yes] [No]"
And of course I click on Yesl, but I keep getting the same window message. I read somewhere, that MixMeister is not compatible with Apple iTunes 10 series versions. The advice said to go to control panel; Programs; click on iTunes; click on Change; click on Repair. I tried that, but I still get the same window message. Then I read that I should contact the mixmeister support website, which will be my next step. But if you can provide any direction, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks again!

OBIEE web services: unable to get an html working report

I am trying to get an html report using the OBIEE webservices and I am facing some problems when I try display the report.
I have browsed a lot of websites and my conlusion is thah I might have missed the setBridge method even if I haven't really understood what this method allows me to do (an explanation is appreciated).
Anyhow, my issue is the following:
once I build the html page I can see the clock gif image loading ("Searching... To cancel, click here."), but nothing happens.

Hi Ryo,
Try using the following method instead:
getHtmlForPageWithOneReport(reportID, reportRef, null, null, null, pageParams, sessionID);
invoked on HTML Service Object and populate the string returned from the above method into
a div using inner html.
Also make sure that you are using IE not any other browser..

I receive the message that I Tunes was not installed correctly and Error 7 (Windows Error 193). I have uninstalled/reinstalled I Tunes several times and this has not resolved the issue. I also uninstalled/reinstalled Microsoft.net Framework 4 since this was suggested by Apple support. This also has not resolved the issue.
When I reinstall I Tunes, I get a message that the “Service ‘apple mobile device’ failed to start.” Verify you have sufficient privileges to start system services. I attempted to manually start the Apple Mobile Device service but get a pop up stating, “Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.”Unsure what I should try next.

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it, which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
The section Install missing components has advice on breaking down the iTunes installer into the individual .msi files which might prove useful if one component, such as Apple Mobile Device Support, won't install normally.
In your case I suggest you start with a clean download of the setup file using the direct link. If reinstalling AMDS alone doesn't work try tearing everything down again.

How do I get past the Mozilla Crash Reporter window?

I cannot get Firefox to work. Every time I open it a Mozilla Crash Reporter window opens up with the options to Restart or Quit Firefox. Neither of these work.
I have the five most recent ID report numbers as suggested in previous posts. Please advise where to go from here.

Also note that the crash reports state you are using Firefox 11, please update that, as this crash may have been fixed in the past year.

XL Reporter error"'Report initialize:unable to get document"

Does excel 2010 compatible on XL Reporter? If yes, can some give me idea on how work on it?
coz we install office 2010,I already enabled the macros and check the 'trust access to the vba project oblect model on the trust center of excel. When we tried to run the XL Reporter it gives error Ilike this
"An error occured during the process:'Report Initialize: Error unable to get document. Cause:Automation error.XL Reporter start up failed.'".
We're using SBO 2007 A SP01 PL13.
Can some one help me to solve this?

I have an Acrobat 8 which is all I need. Installed on my new computer which is using Windows 8. Each time I open Acrobat I get a window that say unable to registrator. It gives me three options try again, redo, never register.

Probably far too old to register. Sounds like a bug, stopping the "never" selection from working. You may be stuck with it.

OK, I think I have this solved. After reading my post over, I decided to rethink the problem. First thing I did was download Chrome and I tried using that and IE again and surprise! I was having the same problem on those browsers as well. So now we know it wasn't Firefox. I then figured maybe a slow computer meant a virus, so I ran scans. I've had both Avast and IOBit for months now and I've never had a problem with either of them before. Then I downloaded Malwarebytes and ran a third scan. They all picked some stuff up, but nothing serious. Then I tried disabling all the antivirus stuff and that didn't solve anything. But then I decided to keep Malwarebytes and I uninstalled IOBit Security and whammo - problem solved.
I have no idea why out of the blue IOBit would be causing a problem like this so if someone knows, please let me in on the secret. Additionally, IE was working fairly well last night but not this morning. I also don't know why removing IOBit would take care of the nsAppShell issue, because supposedly, that's related to Firefox plug ins. And one more thing...when Comcast hooked my neighbor up to cable, they did it by putting a splitter on my line. They were messing about with the lines yesterday before I got on my computer last night trying to decide how to rerun them and today they did that, taking the splitter off my line and giving my neighbor his own line. That was finished about 30 minutes before I uninstalled IOBit. So....who knows?
But I ain't about to look a gift horse in the mouth. I have my Firefox back and I am so sorry for bad mouthing you last night - I love you, Firefox!
