Unable to get the form displayed in Working Time

Hi,
We are implementing ESS with ECC5.0 on EP6. When I go for Working time and click on Time Statement for a Chosen period .. below it doesn't display me the form needed.
I have checked from the Tx : HRFORMS, the Form Name :SAP_TIM_99_0001 & 0002 are active.
Is there anything else i need to configure at the r/3 end to get that display on portal?
Need help on this ..

Unable to get the graphical display of Business process in BPMon

Hi,
I am working on solution manager 7.1. I have set up a business process for monitoring in the BPMon session. But i am not getting the graphical display in the business process operations workcenter in the graphical view tab.
Can anyone tell me how can i get that.

Please run run report RTCCTOOL and see if any addon is not up-to-date.
Please run this repport and follow the recommendations to update those
components to the latest status.
Afterwards please also intall the latest version of following note: 1570282 - Advance Corr. BPMon ST-A/PI 01N
Finally please deactivate BPMon, regenerate and re-activate agin.

Unable to get the SVG demos to work in mapinit.jsp

Hi forum
I've played a bit around with the Mapviewer demos for Oracle Maps. I have loaded the demo data in a database and done the setup as described in the setup. Everything works - except all demos related to SVG, like mapinit.jsp in this case. I've tried both version 10.1.3.1 and 10.1.3.3. I've tried this in misc. browsers, and here's what happens in each
IE7 + Adobe SVG Viewer: The SVG window is blank
Firefox 3: For Mapviewer 10.1.3.1, displays a "Malformed XML document error". For Mapviewer 10.1.3.3, wants to install an "Unknown plugin" which it then can't find, and doesn't display anything.
Google Chrome: Outputs an XML document as text in the SVG window
I have tried adding an entry to mime-types like "image/svg+xml svgz", but that didn't seem to change anything. No browser wants to display the SVG correctly.
Choosing "Regular image" for the same demo data works fine.
How do you get this to work? What am I missing? The appserver runs 10.1.3.4.

Hi Jacob,
Since Adobe dropped support of their SVG viewer, MapViewer SVG support has not been updated with the new features added. Therefore, do not expect to get in SVG, what you currently get with other formats. The minimum support initially added for SVG, is still there. We will check the demos.
Different browsers provider different levels (some rather incomplete) of support for SVG, and scripting with SVG is also done differently on different browser/platform, so this makes difficult to keep SVG support updated. You experienced these differences in your tests with different browsers.

I am unable to get the HUD display to appear...help

My first use of my new CS5 is was to try the new HUD color picker. I picked a brush tool...held down shift+alt+right-click and went of the image and held it. Nothing happened. I just get a cursor with the eye-dropper and a plus sign onder it and a little circle above it. I watched it on Lynda.com. but was unable to replicate what I saw. I tried it on my laptop and my desktop. Both...nothing. I set it to both wheel and strip in preferences.
Need help with this...thanks.

I tried to set this in preferences...but it will not allow me to with the laptop. I upgraded the drivers to the desktop and it works there...but the Fujitsu T5010 does not have the openGL capabilities needed.

Unable to get the nvidia driver (proprietary) work

Hi,
I can't get the nvidia-driver work on my Lenovo Thinkpad T61 (Quadro NVS 140M).
At the moment I use the free NV-driver (with hal, no xorg.conf). I deinstalled the xfree86-video-nv package and libgl. Afterwards I installed 'nvidia' and created a minimal xorg.conf via nvidia-xconfigure. When I start the X-Server, the screen stays black, no nvidia-logo- nothing :-(
Dunno what goes wrong. Can someone help?

Its a beta nvidia driver, the WORSE it can do is crash your x-server. Which is what you're experiencing anyway. So net effect on your work is probably 0.
Anyway, just consider it if you decide to try again. I know the feeling of just not having enough time to hack around when REAL work awaits.

I have been unable to get the health app to work

I have a iPhone 6 and my wife a 5C, the Apple Health Apps works on my phone but not on hers. My neighbor has the same problem, it doesn't record record distance or steps. I have them in the dashboard but nothing happens.

This is because the iPhone 5C does not have a motion coprocessor: a chip that calculates and records your motion like steps and distance. Your iPhone 6 has one (it's called A8). In this case your wife can use a Health supported third party app (like Nike+ Running) to report this data to the Health app.

I have tried all the fixes in the "Managing the Flash Plugin" article on the support site, but am still unable to get the Flash bit to work for my favorite eMagazine, any thoughts?

I have tried all the fixes on the managing the Flash plugin website (uninstalled, reinstalled, updated plug in, etc) but I am still not able to access my subscription on my favorite digital magazine. I can view it in Internet Explorer and I can play Flash games on Facebook, etc. So I am at a lost as to where to try next. With it being on the old tower PC and not my new zippy laptop it is difficult to play with troubleshooting and with all the addons installed by my family I'm not sure what to delete or try again.

Did you post with the computer that gives problems or did you use another computer?
Try to uninstall and reinstall Flash.

Your above posted system details show multiple Java Console extensions.
You can uninstall (remove) the Java Console extensions and disable the Java Quick Starter extension as you do not need them to run Java applets.

Unable to get the Approve option in Salary form

we are implementing payroll using UAE localisation, when i try to add new salary for an employee i am unable to get the approve option in the salary form..we are working on version 11.5.10.2..i have the given the setup steps below
HRMS Responsibility>People>assignment>salary >add New Salary..
I have attached the function the" Salary Approval" to the menu also..even we have bounsed the apache server also...still we face the same problem we are unable toget the approve option still we can see only the proposed optionand we are unable to enter the new salary for the employees...
Pleae advise your better openions to over come this..

Hi Ambarish,
There will be an option to disable and enable the print icon for a particular sap screen . SAP Screen has been designed as per business requirement only . You may reach out to your functional team or developer team to assign the required output type and form which can enable the icon .
Also check whether you have required authorization to print from SAP

If there are Acrobat PDF form fields, not jus a space for a form field, then you will have to add them. It would be better to ask the provider of the form to add the fields. If you cannot add the fields, then you can use the add text feature.
Have you looked in the "Tools" panel for the "Forms" category?

You mixed Java and Javascript in the expectation that they runs simultaneously.
You are Wrong.
You need to distinguish between the server side languages and client side languages. Java/JSP runs at the server side and produces a HTML page with other client side stuff in it like CSS and Javascript. When the HTML page is finished, it will be sent to the client and then Java/JSP stops. Once the HTML page is arrived at the client, there is no one line Java code in it, only its output/result. Do a View Source in your favourite web browser to see it. Only from that moment on, Javascript runs and/or can be invoked.
Whenever you want to use Java variables in Javascript, you need to print them out as a Javascript variable. Whenever you want to use Javascript variables in Java, you need to invoke a request to the server and pass them as parameters. The request can be either synchronous (a link or a form submit) or asynchronous (ajaxical).

Unable to get the item value in cursor

I have function which returns organization_id for each item selected in Sales Order window.
From this function I will populate warehouse value in shipping tab whenever i am tabbing out from ordered item in Sales Order Form.
But my cursor is unable to get the item id value (Ex: FOR cur_rec IN cus_l (l_item_id)). It is directly going to last return statement and displaying default value.
Please help me out.

This function executed without errors. But it is displaying final return statement value (i.e., 204).
I am not getting inventory_item_id value to my cursor.
