when I try to go to the photo editor I have to sign in do I need to do this to go to the photo editor and why I have registerd my software

Are you trying to back up the photos to icloud or restore a backup to the iphone?
"off my iphone" - this is where I'm confused. Are you trying to get the photos off the iphone (because perhaps you are running low on space)? If so, you should sync the photos to your computer, then you can delete them from the phone.

project, what about jsps of nitroX-tour app? (you can create by clicking the

page)

Troubleshooting advice anyone? Unable to get still photo embeded in menu template.

I have Premiere Elements 9. I have completed the video and am trying to use a template from Adobe that has a spot for a still picture. I imported one and it shows on the computer but when I burn the DVD there is just a big black empty box. I tried making the photo 1000 x 750 pixils and that didn't work. I even tried using a photoshop file thinking maybe it was just proprietary but to no avail. Between this and the fact that the program is so unstable that it crashes every time I try to do something, my frustration level is pretty high. It probably crashed nearly 20 times just trying to make the video. Is this normal? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

You came to the right place. What you described is an old story and known issue with Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1. The issue is maintaining the replacement background in the end product DVD-VIDEO on DVD Disc. The remedy is to apply an audio background to the menu in disc menu customization area of the project (either audible or muted audio file).
Some would have you chasing down still image resolution et al. No way.

I had to replace the hardrive on my laptop. I have over 2000 photos in an album on my iPod Touch but I am unable to get the pictures off the iPod and back onto my computer. Suggestions?

I am in need of assistance with syncing photos on my iPod onto my laptop. Had to replace the hardrive on the laptop and I'm unable to get the photos synced from the iPod.

- If the photos were taken by or saved to the iPod just use the computer's camera/image capture software to get them from the iPod.
- If the photos were synced to the iPod you need a third-party program such as PhoneView of TouchCopy.

Photo editor app now available but doesn't work, after latest What's New update

hi all
odd experience what I wanted to highlight with you all.
I've just had an updated (this morning) to What's New build 3.0.A.0.2
After installing this patch / update, I was then told that "Photo Editor" was available to download. Build is 5.0.A.0.12
As far as I'm concerned I've not had this app on my phone before - checking in system apps reveals this is a fresh install, rather than an update to an existing app.
Also, I've not worked out how to run it, as there's no app shortcut on my homescreen. The app is not visible in the app picklist (when adding new items to my homescreens) either. Nor is the app in the main app list (accessed with the 6 dots button in the middle of the permanent shortcut panel on the homescreen).
I've even tried using a very useful app "quick shortcut maker" and although I can find photo editor in its activity list, when i test the generated shortcut, I get "unfortunately, photo editor has stopped".
Any ideas?
I do have some apps disabled, so does photo editor have any known dependencies?
EDIT: I've tried clearing photo editor data and restarting - no change.

Photo Editor is a system app only, it is available for use when editing photo's through your Album or Photo's app. For example, if you go into Album > tap on a photo > tap the icon at the bottom that looks like a pencil on paper > tap Photo editor.

Cant print photos in Photoshop 12 Photo Editor but can from Organizer

I cannot print single photos in my Photoshop 12 Elements Photo Editor but I can through the Organizer. I have no problems printing photos from all other software on my computer.
This is a recent development.
I'm using a PC [Windows 7].
Would reinstalling Photoshop Elements 12 [or 13] resolve the problem or is there a simpler way to get the Photo Editor to print?

How do I get synced photo albums transferred from iphone to my mac?

I recently had to replace my hard drive on my Macbook and now that I have replaced the drive I would like to recover the pictures on my iphone.
I was able to get the camera roll photos using image capture but I am unable to get the photo albums that were synced from my previous iphoto library. My iPhone 4S is jailbroken so I could go in via SSH but the problem is that I cannot even locate the photos.
Is there a way to get those photos back onto my Macbook?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The photos "synched" from a computer to your iPhone aren't really the original photos. They're low resolution thumbnails suitable for display on the phone, but not practical for anything else. If you didn't bother to save the original photos before replacing your computer's hard drive, your pictures are gone.

Photo Editor not opening

I purchased Photoshop Elements 12 last week from amazon.com and I haven't been able to get the Photo Editor to open. My laptop is not connected to any printers and it's not a Mac. How can I open it?
When I try to open the Organizer it says "Online Services could not be initialized. Please reinstall. Press OK to continue without Online Services," but when I select "OK" it seems to work fine. What are the Online Services? How do I reinstall?

We cannot know. You are not providing any system information. That aside, if the program doesn't work, then it may not have been installed correctly in the first place and a reinstall will be necessary. Still, unless you figure out what went wrong, this won't do any good, so system information and otehr details are still required or you're running in circles....

Please share the screenshot of the error and at which point do you see this error?
This is how normal installation happens:
If your machine is a windows machine, you'd have downloaded a .exe (an executable) file and a .7z (an archive) file.
Please run the .exe file which would extract files from the archive. You can then run setup file from the extracted files & install application.
if you're on a mac machine, you'd have downloaded a .dmg file. Double-click .dmg to initiate the setup & click options/buttons on each installer screen as per your requirement.

Good evening. I am unable to access the Photo Editor feature in my PSE 12 program. There is a message on the welcome screen statin that my trial period has expired, and that I need to purchase PSE 12. I have already purchased this program twice now, last night as a download and back in December in the boxed CD format. I have registered each purchase with Adobe. I would really like to know what the problem is because I do not like having to pay the same program twice.

You say you do not like having to pay the same program twice but you have already done that; The boxed version and downloaded version. Why did you do that?
You can now officially install these programs on 4 different machines because you have bought twice. Did you activate all the machines after installing these programs? To activate these programs, you need to insert the serial number and you also need to register your details online with Adobe. Have you done this?
If you have done this, then please login to your account on Adobe website and check what products are registered under your name. If PSE is registered then see if both serial numbers are still registered there.

Want to start PSE 12 in photo editor but it will only start in Orgaizer, can't get to welcome screen and the .exe file that Adobe said to look for does not exist on my files

Have tried to start PSE 12 in photo editor but it continues to start in Organizer. I do not want my pictures loaded in Organizer at all. Saw a page on the web that said to click on an .exe editor file but that is not on my files. Also cannot get a welcome screen to come up, only an organizer even though I checked it the first time to come up in photo editor. I'm now having Organizer crammed down my throat. Tried online chat but was cut off with the statement that no support is offered for v12 any longer.

You failed to say which operating system you are running on so I'm assuming it is Windows of some type.
You should be able to find the following files, using explorer, depending on your system.
64bit system: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 12\PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe"
32bit system: "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 12\PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe"
Double clicking on that should start the editor - suggest to create a shortcut to it.
If you can't find one of those files, then you either installed it somewhere else or you need to re-install elements.

how do i allocate more memory from my hd to my iphoto application? i have over 80 gb on my hard drive, but only 1.7 gb allocated to my iphoto application & i am unable to add more photos to my library. i keep getting a popup that says not enough application memory.

There is excessive swapping of data between physical memory (that is, the memory chips on the logic board) and virtual memory (one or more files on the startup volume.) That activity is relatively slow and causes the whole system to be less responsive. It can happen for two reasons:
A long-running process with a memory leak (a kind of bug)
Not enough memory for your usage pattern
Tracking down a memory leak can be difficult, and it may come down to a process of elimination.
These instructions are for OS X 10.9 ("Mavericks.") The procedure may be slightly different for earlier versions of OS X.
When you notice the swap activity, open the Activity Monitor application and select All Processes from the View menu, if it's not already selected. Select the Memory tab. Click the heading of the Real Mem column in the process table twice to sort the table with the highest value at the top. If you don't see that column, select
View ▹ Columns ▹ Real Memory
from the menu bar.
If one process (excluding "kernel_task") is using much more memory than all the others, that could be an indication of a leak. A better indication would be a process that continually grabs more and more real memory over time without ever releasing it. Here is an example of how it's done.
The processes named "Safari Web Content" render web pages for Safari. They use a lot of memory and may leak if certain Safari extensions or third-party web plugins are installed. Consider them prime suspects.
Another process often implicated in memory leaks is "inkjet4" or "inkjet8," which is a component of the HP printing software. If it's present, force-quit the process in Activity Monitor to solve the problem temporarily. Empty the print queues in the Printers & Scanners preference pane (which has a slightly different name in each recent version of OS X.) If you don't use an HP printer, remove the software. Otherwise, if the problem is recurrent, update the software (which may not help) or contact HP support.
"Wired" memory should be a small part of the total. That memory is not swapped, but it makes less physical memory available which may then result in swapping. If you have a lot of wired memory, that's usually an indication of a memory leak in a third-party program that modifies the operating system at a low level. Ask for guidance in that case.
If you don't have an obvious memory leak, your options are to install more memory (if possible) or to run fewer programs simultaneously.
The next suggestion is only for users familiar with the shell. For a more precise, but potentially misleading, test, run the following command:
sudo leaks -nocontext -nostacks process | grep total
where process is the name of a process you suspect of leaking memory. Almost every process will leak some memory; the question is how much, and especially how much the leak increases with time. I can’t be more specific. See the leaks(1) man page and the Apple developer documentation for details.
