Unable to gift an app

I am trying to send an app as a gift and keep getting an unable to process transaction message. However when I purchased the app for myself iTunes allowed me to get it. Any suggestions?

Also, I have not had a problem gifting apps to the same person in the past.

So my problem is really weird.. I cannot purchase and gift any app. I can buy apps for my self.. and wasted few bucks to try and my visa works! But when i try to send a gift it doesn't work and say
"your payment method was declined. Please enter another payment method".. Hmm.. well my payment method is fine, and it works for my own purchases.. so what's the problem? Time zone is diff so hard to read apple and no apple store here..
Oh, and I'm using iPhone 3GS iOS 4.0.1

, and PC. I've changed the card, password, etc. No response from Apple support.

I already have an app installed and I want to gift it to someone (without making their Mac one of my authorized computers) but gifting the app is not one of the options on the dropdown menu in the iTunes Store if you already own it. Solutions?

I am unable to download free apps on my iphone,it ask for credit info.When i try to download it's telling me (There is a billing problem with a previous purchase)So i went into my account.It's showing a purchase inside of pokerist.com which i never made.I have a outstanding balance of 33.00 which i do not have.I only use that card to activate my account, that's why the payment didn't go threw.I do not use that account.So please can someone fix my account so i can get my life back.PLEASE

If you have an existing ID, & you don't want to use a credit card, you'll have to redeem an iTunes gift card. If you don't want to do that, you'll have to create a new ID by following the directions here, EXACTLY:

ps when syncing it jumps through steps 1 - 4 real fast, i seem to remeber iphone showing the number of tracks transferring and names, but i see nothing? then it sits on 5 saying "waiting for changes to be applied"

Why can't I send gift from app store

On my iPad I Can choose an app then press share button and gift, yet after I choose email the "next" button does not highlight and I am unable to send the gift in App Store and itunes. It all works perfectly on my iphone

I know it can be frustrating when you cannot download applications from the App Store. There are a couple of different troubleshooting steps I would recommend. I would suggest using the first article attached to ensure the date and time are correct on your device.

Once you have verified the date and time are correct, if the issue still continues I suggest resetting your network settings. This will erase your Wi-Fi network preferences and Bluetooth connections. Be sure you know your Wi-Fi password before you reset the network settings because you will need to enter it again to set up Wi-Fi on your device.

Reset network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Note: This will reset all network settings including:
previously connected Wi-Fi networks and passwords
recently used Bluetooth accessories

Can buy music but unable to gift

Please help, I am able to buy apps and music for myself with no issues. I am unable to gift music at all. I have tried three working credit cards all declined repeatedly for gifting but working just fine for buying for myself. I have $30 in apple gift card credit also refused.

This is a common (and very frustrating) issue - you need to contact Customer Support and get them to make an adjustment to your account so that you can purchase gifts.
Of course, it still might not work - they adjusted my account last week and I don't get the credit card declined error anymore, but instead it just says "The iTunes store could not process your request, please try again later."

After Ios 8 upgrade I am unable to download new apps?

After the upgrade to iOs 8 I am unable to download new apps from the iOs App Store.
I have attempted to download the "Instapaper" App this mornig several times and have been unsuccessful.
I launch the App Store and find the Instapaper App, click on the +Free button, which then turns into the download button , I click on the download button and the spinning icon appears for a short period of time and then it reverts back to the +Free button. I have repeated this 10+ times and get the same results.

Change App Store
1. Tap "Settings"
2. Tap "iTunes & App Stores"
3. Tap on your Apple ID
4.Tap "View Apple ID"
5. Enter your user name and password.
6. Tap "Country/Region."
7. Tap "Change Country/Region"
8. Select the region where you are located.

I own Monopoly for iPad and was trying to gift it to my dad for his new iPad but that link option doesn't show up in iTunes ... the GIFT link shows up fine on apps I haven't already bought for myself ...

That is an interesting question...there appears to be no way to gift an app you've already purchased...maybe to avoid confusion about people thinking they can gift things they have purchased for free? A workaround might be to log out of your Apple ID, then navigate to the app in iTunes, click the 'Gift This App' button and then sign in when prompted.

I've been unable to locate an app that will do this. The Photos app that comes with the phone or iPad has extremely limited duration controls. PhotoStream seems to load everything from my phone or iPad not allowing me to just load up a set group of images.
iPhoto for iPad is getting some terrible recent reviews. I tried a couple other free apps but they don't use Airplay.
I can do something like this with iPhoto and my MB Air, but it's kind of ugly to have the computer open in order to connect by Airplay to my Apple TV. I've thought the iPad or iPhone would be a lower profile controller.
Am I out of luck?

Thanks for your help. Since I'm uninterested in loading all my photos (the only option) into photostream, I won't be able to use the settings in ATV. I guess I'm just stuck with using iPhoto on my MB Air. Thanks again.

How can i gift an app in the mac app store ?

You can use iTunes gift cards in the App Store. I don't think Apple supports "gifting" of apps as yet and we wouldn't know when they may do this in the future. This is a user to user forum, not Apple.

Are you asking about iOS apps? This is the Mac App Store forum, about issues with apps for Macs, not iOS devices. Mac apps cannot be gifted at this moment. I am asking the Hosts to move your question to the iTunes area.

And is there any way to sync all my purchases and accounts to just have one... It is a bit stupid that you dont even get a list of something of what account you may of used, or some kind of hint, so you could log on to the right account. I am really stuck ...

You can't merge accounts. But you can check your purchase history:
