Unable to import a CD To Computer or ITunes, does anyone know what the problem might be?
Hey guys, just got a new CD for Christmas and I was trying to import it onto my ITunes. I haven't had a problem like this in the past, so don't know what the issue is. Maybe it's something with the latest ITunes update?? Anyone have a solution?

Since I couldn't think of anything else to try on my computer, I took a shot in the dark and tried the disc on my sister's computer. It is a Dell also, but a different model so not sure if that was part of the reason it worked. So I would say try it on a friend's computer if possible.
Anyway, when I tried it on her computer the album opened up on Windows Media Player.
From there, I ripped it to her computer, then saved the album to my USB flash drive.
I inserted the USB into my computer, and copied the abum to my ITunes Folder.
Then, I opened up ITunes, clicked, File ---> Add Folder To Library", then selected the Album Folder.
Since it was originally a Windows Media Player File, a message came up on ITunes saying the files would be converted to AAC and I clicked "OK" or whatever the option to proceed read.
I had to add all of the song/album info manually, since the songs weren't imported directly to ITunes.
So like I said, pretty complicated fix but it worked for me haha. Hope it helps you, if you have any other questions feel free to ask.

By "copy", do you mean inserting a document into the printer's feed (or on the scan bed) of the printer and having it then make a copy onto another sheet of paper? If so, then it's highly unlikely to be a Mac-related problem. You probably will need to take this up with Brother tech support.

I just got a new macbook and before i had to sync all my photos from my old mac onto a bunch of flash drives and most are on my phone. Ive successfully imported the flash drives and the photos on my camera roll to my new macbook iPhoto but not the other 1,000+. My computer isn't recognizing it maybe because its in 'mac events'. Does anyone know what to do? Please help it would be greatly appreciated especially since i don't have much room left on my iphone anymore. thank you.
You'll need third party software to get the images not on your camera roll. iExplorer is one such app, but there are others. Search on MacUpdate

I have a Windows copy of Photoshop Elements 11, but the serial number has been lost. I didn't buy the product and I am unable to find the box. As far as I know, it's never been used so has not been registered. Does anyone know how the serial number can be recovered under these circumstances?
If you never bought the product then you cannot get the serial number.

For some reason the Apple ID window in iTunes and App Store now seems to suddenly have a character number constraint which prevents me using my 29 character Apple ID. As a result I am unable to enter the final few characters of my Apple ID which I have had for many years. Does anyone know what has caused this?
You need to ask Apple for assistance with getting back into your old ID. To do this, click here and pick a method; if that page doesn't list one for your country or you're unable to resolve this issue through the Account Security team, fill out and submit this form.

My macbook keeps asking me to use an administrator and their password to continue but nobody seems to know who is the administrator for this computer...does anyone know how to avoid this this or figure out who the administrator is?

to figure out which users have administrative privileges, open the Users & Groups pane of System Preferences; each user other than the Guest User will be shown with a description of either “Admin” or “Standard”. It’s typical for the first user created on a Mac to be an administrative user. -
I have always heard that Macs are less likely to get infected with a virus. My computer has been running much slower since I installed Maverick. Just not sure what the problem might be. Is there a way for me to run a diagnosis?
Some have found relief just by reinstalling, but it is more than likely incompatible third-party applications that slow it down.
You will have to investigate to see what it is.
Open Activity Monitor and see if anything is using a lot of CPU% or Memory. If they are, check to see if there is an update for them.
Another place to look is the Console. See if anything is logging repeating messages with throttling and/or respawn in the All Messages list.
Sometimes it is not that easy to root out the problems, but if you have anything that purported to clean, protect, optimize, maintain, or flush your system, then that is likely the cause. -

I am trying to restore my phone from the backed up information on my computer. It is asking me for a password. I tried my screen lock code and my apple id. Does anyone know what password it wants?

plug cable into computer not phone
turn phone off
hold home button and plug cable into phone. do not release home button until an itunes graphic appears on device.
look to computer should have message about recovery mode click ok and restore

If you haven't been able to connect to the iTunes Store:

I am unable to axcess any adobe software since OS X YOSEMITE took over my laptop. I keep getting this message, "To open Adobe CS5" you need to install the legacy Java SE 6 runtime. Does anyone know what to do? My efforts have not worked.
and - check with Adobe - would strongly suspect you need to upgrade CS. Strongly consider Creative Cloud, access to the entire TypeKit alone is amazing.

You only option is to buy a copy of Mac OS X, either the retail disk or system disks.
There are places you can by a copy of Mac OS X, like online vendors, Amazon or eBay.
System disk are gray and come with more than one disk. Retail disk are black with a 'X' on them and often come as one DVD disk.
Not sure what version your going to require as you haven't provided any specification and model details.
I would safely assume being a G4, it would be happy to install Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger.
