Unable to import Business Object in DQE

I've some prob with "importing business Objects" in SAP Enterprise Portal
I've EP6.0 SP16 installed.
While importing the Business Object from "BW" System
I expand the BW Node but alas! dont get any BO in it..
It shows a message "Loading...." and hangs..
I've read some of the discussion Forum on SDN...
I've given the DQE Admin UserID and Password correctly.
Also I've done the User Mapping for BW System and gave the same UserID and Password as given in DQE in the "Personalize" section
I've tested the "BW" Connection using the option "Connection Test".
It gives "DQE Connection Succeeded'.
Please let me know where i'm wrong..

First thing dear Actually you are using the wrong term it is not exactly import it is EXPORT the existing BC4J component in Jdev.
Just run the export command it will automatically create the package in the Home directory.
Create a new JWS and Project and add related PG or Region there.[[Which you have exported]]

Importing business objects in SAP

I am working in Newgen Software Technologies LTD., a New Delhi Based company. We have our products in Document Management, Business Workflow and imaging. we are also technology partners of SAP. Currently we are trying to integrate SAP with our Document Management System, OmniDocs. Actually we want to archive the documents generated in SAP to our DMS. The problem is we have miniSAP at our side, but we do`nt have business objects to work with. We have downloaded the business objects from the site

The problem is we are following the instructions in the readme.txt in order to import the business objects in SAP through 'tp' command but it is giving the error message as
Warning: unknown parameter SAPSID in parameter file (line 1).
Warning: unknown parameter SAPSYSTEM in parameter file (line 2).
Warning: unknown parameter SAPSID in parameter file (line 1).
Warning: unknown parameter SAPSYSTEM in parameter file (line 2).
tp finished with return code: 208
Please help!!
If there is any other method to import business objects in miniSAP please suggest..

Do u have any relavant SAP system running in your company? if so, you will definitely have a SYS-ID and a SYSTEM-NAME in your system. i guess this error shouldn't pop after that.

Unable to import business catalyst site to DW-CS6

Dreamweaver CS6 cloud subscription user. I am unable to import business catalyst site via manage sites.
I get the following error:
"Please connect to the internet and retry
Either your computer is offline ot the clock on your computer is set incorrectly, causing connection error. An internet connection is required. Please connect to the internet or adjust your clock and try again...."
My clock is set correctly and I do have internet access so I have no idea what the problem is.
I did notice the window did say "CS6 Creative Cloud membership" with the above error message and...
The original Business Catalyst window says "connecting to server..." for over twenty minutes before I closed it and tried again with same results.

Have you posted this in the Business Catalyst Forum? Very few of us here use BC services.

Unable to import SAP objects

Hi,
Recently we upgraded XI to SP 15.
Now we are not able to import the IDOC structures and RFCS . Following error is thrown when we try to import the objects from R/3.
+ com.sap.aii.ibrep.sbeans.upload.RemoteUploadException: The function module "DD_DOMA_GET" not released for 'remote' calls.
Import failed with 1 error
Can anyone guide us in this regards.

This sounds like a problem in the reference system (R/3). Have you recently upgraded that as well?
If not, please verify that "DD_DOMA_GET" in fact is released for remote calls.

Unable to import design objects

Hi ,
I am trying to import design objects into XI 3.0 SP 14 which is on Solaris.
When I imported the design objects all the objects were imported successfully for the first time.
Again when I tried to import the objects I am getting an error
"Attempt to deserialize failed You can proceed with the transport though objects with errors will be ignored. This may cause inconsistencies in other objects after import. Do you want to proceed? "
When I click on continue ,I am getting an error
"ERROR : ; nested exception is: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError
Can anybody help me to fix this problem

New Business Object

Hi Everyone,
I am creating a new business object in MAS. and I am getting the following message.
Unable to launch Business Object Wizard : BDoc validation is off - Switch on the Bdoc Validation from Tools-> Options-> BDoc Repository.
I am getting confused with the following fields.
Destination and Server.
what should I enter in the above fields? Is it the IP address or the SID.

Unification- Business Objects

Hi,
Im using EP7 with service pack 9. I have created a R/3 System in System Administration -> system configuration of EP.
After creating that , in content Administrator -> Business Objects whn i try to Import Business Objects im not able to get any business objects for the system i have created.
Wat might b the probem.. ?is it bcoz of the SP9, should i go for advance SP or should i install Unification Server.

Please see Note 1676695 - Assertion Failed Exception for shared_ptr.hpp when installing .NET runtimes for Business Objects
This can happen if you do not have the VS 2005 C++ Runtimes installed.(If already installed then uninstall it)
Download the VS 2005 C++ runtimes (http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=3387) and install, then run the .NET runtimes installer again.
Login with administrator in the system and perform the below activity.
Re Install the Microsoft Visual Studio
Re Install the Dashboards.

Unable to import CRM Business Packager in the Portal

I have downloaded the Business Package for CRM, but it was in Zip file.
I was unable to import it in the Portal since EP6 format has to be in epa not zip?
Please advise.

Hi,
CRM 4.0 Business package is available for EP 5.0 and above. When importing the business package do pay attention that you import a zip file that contains objects that are EP 5.0 version compatible such as files ending with the "PKG" extension. "EPA" extension is acceptable from EP 6.0 on.
The package content will be available at "migrated content" in your PCD, after the import process is done.

DQE - Business Object Attributes not shown

Hi,
can anybody please help me in solving the following problem.
I want to implement drag & relate for my EP 6 (sp13). I connected a sap crm system an imported some business objects from there (DRSPFLI and DRCARR).
When I now want to check the relations with the relations editor. The autocomplete function doesn't work and even if I want to edit the relation manually I have the problem that no attributes of the selected business objects are shown for selection.
Something seems to fail at the importing process of my business objects. (Hint: I can see the crm system in the metadata loader)
Has anyone a idea how to fix this problem?

Hi,
unfortunately this didn't solve it.
The confusing is, that I see the System in the loaded DQE window at the metadata loader, but the corresponding business objects of this system appear without any parameters.
I have no idea what else to do!

Business Object importer doesn't display objects

Hi,
I have done required configuations in R/3 system .If I go to DQE --> metadata improter and select the R/3 system it list all Business Objects.
But if I go to Business Object importer and select the system it doesn't show any BO.
Any idea ??

DOn't know if it can help you. From the available business object list, don't attempt to expand your sysmet aliase but only highlight this and execute "Add" that should have been sufficient enough.
But I find SAP's documentation is really bad in unification part on how to get drag and relate functional. Really very bad and waste customer's lot of valuable of time to try and test.

Unable to Import objects into ID

Hi All,
For your support I have completed the development work and I have moved to Quality from Development. But while trying to import the one scenario in to Quality System from Development in XI, I am getting the following Error:-
Internal error: Unable to transfer changes for object Service | Q14CLNT120 to change list "XI 3.0 Import" (9a590f30-7245-11dc-9266-00306ee97ef1) since object still in change list "XI 3.0 Import" (3ae5e660-701d-11dc-942e-00306ee97ef1)
I have somehow managed to import another scenario last week into Quality, although now I am unable to import. But while trying to activate the imported scenario into Quality System I am getting another Error as below:-
Unable to move object. Change lists were not part of the same import
I tried to activate the change list..but no woek.
Could anyone please advice?

Have you checked the GUID in SLD in both the systems?
SLD-->Software Components, to check the GUID.
You can do one thing, first of delete imported objects which are not getting activated from QA, also delete the SWCV from Integration Repository.
Note: Before deleting SWCV, make sure any other working objects are not there in the same SWCV.
Now, if SWCV & GUID in both systems are same then again:
1. Export the objects from Dev (.tpz file)
2. Imort the same .tpz file to QA system.
Now go to Repository of QA and
1. Tools --> Import Design Objects
2. Tools --> Transfer from system landscape Directory --> Update Application Components.
Select your components and press Finish button.
And finally try to Acitvate your objects.

I often have this message in the message-log window :
Business Components: Unable to find referenced object
Object: easyges.monActivite.mesInfos.MonSuperieur.

What do i have to do with that?

Upgrading CE 10 to Business Objects XIR3 by using Import Wizard

Hi Guys,
We are upgrading Crystal Enterprise 10 to Business Objects XI3, I have installed Business Objects XI3 on a new server, I will be using Import Wizard to import Objects, groups, Users ect... Do I need to copy the contents of the CE10 FRS input and output directories to the BOE XI3 FRS input and output directories?

No. Do not do this. The import wizard will migrate your objects and copy them to the FRS in 3.x format for you, nothing manual like this is needed.
