I have uploaded my contacts to icloud drive but i am unable to import vcard file contact to my iphone from my Windows PC.

To what Sony phone do you want these contacts transferred?

Ok, I knew it was a long shot. The merge prompt normally is only available when you first sync your device. I'm not sure how things got out of sync in the first place, but you may have to manually delete the contacts from your phone that you don't want there at this point. I would try adding a new contact on your phone followed by sync to confirm that it's picking up new contacts though.

Remember: we cannot see your machine. There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 8 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Basic things like :
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For instance: 'iPhoto won't export' is best explained by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
- History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted?
- Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
- Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?
Anything else you can think of that might help someone understand the problem you have.

I'm trying to figure out how to import my contacts from iphone 4s to my mac book. I already managed to import the photos as iphoto popped automatically, but the contacts seem to be more tricky.
Appreciate your help!

for Mac OS X:
- use iTunes
- choose your iPhone and go to the INFO tab
- tick sync contact then sync
for Mac OS Mavericks:
- update both devices and iTunes then follow the same steps above.
or use iCloud in both devices.

Almost unable to import contacts from ASCII

Hi, I have 8220 and Desktop software 6.0.1.18 on Vista 32.
So I have a problem getting data from ASCII file. It is very strange, but when importing contacts, the intellisync (?) tool considers cyrillic letter 'я' as the end of the record and begins the next record. After the first record with this letter, all other records are being imported incorrectly. I had Desktop manager 5 with this problem and upgraded to 6 but nothing changed.
At first, I thought I changed originally-exported file, but then I made an experiment when I used the exported file and got the same result
This problem doesn't appear when synchronizing to and from Windows.
Originally, I had to change almost all phone numbers. I exported to CSV, opened in excel (open office calc) and saved as CSV. I did my best to preserve the structure of the CSV file. So, if I replace this letter 'я' by another character, I will be able to import my contacts.
I was also looking for "intellisync" but found Nokia site saying "page doesn't exists anymore"
BTW, Russian translation of the synchronization tool is terrible. Fortunately, they draw arrows and other well-known symbols.

I have also problem with importing from CSV files (BB 9800 Torch and the latest BB desktop software) as soon as it contains 'я' letters. If being replaced, those entries make no problem.
RIM team, an import function is a must for any phone. I expected a much more mature implementation from your sync product (sorry to say that).

UCCX9 unable to import contacts in outbound compaign

Hi, All.
UCCX 9.
When I try to import contacts in outbound compaign I have the following window. And Indicator "Status: Ready" whirls all the time and nothing else happens.
Here is the csv file content:

I've already tried spaces after coma, another field arrangements and... and... all in vane.
Does any one know what's wrong?

How to import contacts from iPhone to Macbook Address Book...?

Whenever I go under
iTunes > Info > Sync Contacts
It tries to import my empty contact list ON my mac to my iPhone, rather than import my iPhone contacts onto my Mac. How do I import my contacts into my address book?
Please be specific, because from my previous research on how to do it.... it was a very vague explanation.

Without a unique contact in the macbook address book, it will delete all the contacts from the phone. You must have a unique contact in the macbook to trigger the merge response from iTunes when you go to sync. Also, make sure you take the time in iTunes preferences to put the checkmark where it says Prevent iPods, iPhones and iPads from syncing automatically. That way you have complete control over the sync process.

Welcome to the world of Macs. See this introduction to Macs. It might be that you need to sync your iPhone with you MBP. To do this you would connect your iPhone to your MBP which should start up iTunes so you can sync music, vids, and possibly contacts.

Unable to sync contacts from iPhone to Address Book...works the other way

I am unable to have changes on my iPhone reflect in my Mac's address book. For example, I would delete a contact on the iphone, but it stays there in the Mac's address book after sync. The worst part is that now on subsequent syncs, the contact is never added back to the phone or deleted from the computer. I am able to create as many contacts as I want on the phone and sync them to the address book, but just not delete modify them.
Creating/deleting contacts in the address book works.
So far, I have tried:
1. Resetting the sync history.
2. Replacing all my iPhone contacts with those in address book.
3. Unselecting and reselecting sync contacts from iTunes.
4. Archiving my address book, deleting everything in it, syncing, and then repopulating it.
5. Restoring my iPhone.
None of this has worked, and I am close to pulling my hair out. I just fixed issues with the new Safari bookmarks sync, and now this. Can anyone please help me fix this issue? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the idea of looking at the Console. I've created new contacts on my MacBook and my iPhone, but neither is syncing to the other, in fact a new contact group I created in Address Book doesn't even show up in the list of groups in the Contacts sync window in iTunes. Here's what the Console says every time I sync:

Unable to add contacts on iphone 4

I am unable to add or edit contacts on my iphone 4. The green plus add button is missing. Whenever I go to the mail, contacts, calenders in the settings it reverts back to the home screen. The same also happens when I go into the icloud settings and try to turn on the contacts. Does anyone have any ideas about how to fix this?

You can import your contacts from your Outlook using iTunes. Connect yout iPhone / iPad to iTunes, then set sync contacts with outlook option. Then Sync your device.
Note: Your existing contacts may get replaced if you don't read the options carefully.

IPhoto suddenly unable to import photos from iPhone 4

For some odd reason, my copy of iPhoto 09 has suddenly lost the ability to import photos and videos from my iPhone 04. The import starts, then simply hangs (without iPhoto actually freezing). If I force quit iPhoto, I then receive a message saying saying certain imported photos have not been added to the library and asking if I want to import them now. I click okay, and a just couple of oddly duplicated photos appear. iPhoto also no longer sees my iPhone unless I restart. Some mysterious corruption? Is deleting the iPhoto plist file and/ or cache likely to make a difference?
