Unable to import document from ipages

when I try to import the document I was working on in ipages illustrator says it doesn't recognize the file type.What do I do? Do I have to start over? Also, How do I delete a document and start over? Thanks for any help you can give me.

You need to state version of Illustrator, version of Pages, version of Mac OS X for us to be able to help you.
If the document you were working on was made in Pages it has to be saved in a format that Illustrator understands. The choices you have in Pages is PDF, Word, RTF and Plain Text. All of which you Export to before you can open it in another application.

Since Apples last update on 6 June 2014, I have been unable to Import photos from ANY source. When I attempt to do so, I receive the message "Import Preparing to inmport..." I've waited 10 minutes but nothing happens. When I click on the icon, Stop Import, nothing happens. When I attempt to Close iPhoto i receive the message, "Photos are being imported to the photo library. Please wait for import to complete." When I click on OK, nothing happens. The only way I can exit iPhoto is to press the On/Off button.

After loading this file I was sucessful in importing photos from a web site, my camera memory card and a CD containing photos.
That is a good news. We now know, that iPhoto is working as expected, when you are switching to a different library.
But this is puzzling:
I then see a box with two Librarys listed, both have the same name except for the following and are listed as:
iPhoto Library.photolibrary but one has (default) after its name which is the one which is always displayed when I load iPhoto.
Underneath the box is written:
/Users/paulfkardian/Pictures/iPhoto Library.photolibrary
Underneath this are three boxes titled: Other Library Create New Choose
I highlighted the the File without the (default) after its name and clicked on Choose. A Library was loaded which had my photos (about 9,822) from about 7 months ago. Underneath the box is written diferently than the file always loaded and says:
/Users/paulfkardian/Pictures (original)/iPhoto Library.photolibrary
You are having two "Pictures" folders in your Home folder, Pictures and Pictures (original)? And each has a different iPhoto library - one working correctly, and one not? Do you remember, when this second "Pictures" folder has been created and what caused it? Did you restore your Home folder from a backup some time ago?

DMS massive import documents from legacy system

Hello Gurues,
I am new in DMS and I would need some guidelines in order to massively import documents from a legacy system to DMS (content server).
After that, I am expecting to be able to mass assign those documents to EHS Specification header and property level (PLM).

for mass import or upload the document use LSMW or BDC method. For addign the new objects as your objects are not in DMS standard objects list use the following link:

IPhoto suddenly quit while importing photos from camera unable to import photos from camera

iPhoto suddenly quit while importing photos from camera unable to import photos from camera that were imported before iPhoto quit. Photos are still on the camera however iPhoto only "sees" the photos that were not imported on this computer. I can connect to my other mac and see all the photos. This has happened before and I wanted to learn how to deal with this problem. Thanks Ed

I am using a MacBook Pro OS 10.9.2, iPhoto 9.5.1 connected via usb to a Canon G12. I have had this issue before when importing photos. I can work around by using my other Mac and download the photos. I believe that there maybe a setting on the Mac that prevents duplicating photo downloads that may be preventing me from seeing these photos stored in the camera memory although I can view them on the camera.

The files on the DVD are MPEG 2 files and need to be converted in order to be usable in iMovie. Streamclip from Squared5 is one option although others are available. Wondershare is one as well. Just Google for mp2 converters and you'll find many.

The first one does not work, but the second ovi.com profile does. I would like to eliminate the non functioning profile.

Can't print documents from ipages

I have been using an HP c4500 photosmart printer for months with no problems and one day it just stopped printing. It prints web pages but no documents from iPages. What happened?

May you check if it's really this printer which is called when you try to print with Pages (there is no iPages application) ?

Unable to download document from HTTPS site in ADF

I have a critical issue in ADF application. While clicking on hyperlink for download a document ,i am getting following error:

have you tried uninstalling then reinstalling Nokia Browser from http://download.browser.ovi.com ? also try the same with Opera at http://m.opera.com Also check that you are fully up to date with your phone firmware by using Nokia Suite to check for any firmware updates.

It sounds like you are using an application to import. You can do it manually.
Start > Computer (on the right) > scroll to the bottom and you will see your iPhone under Portable Devices > Open it and you will see a Drive, open that and there will be a DCIM folder. That is where your photos will be (There may be other folders each holding photos).

Unable to edit document from SharePoint 2007 using Office 2013 and IE 11

I am getting the following error when I try to edit a document from SharePoint 2007: "Edit document
requires a Windows Sharepoint services-compatible application and Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or greater". I am using Windows 7 with Office 2013 and Internet Explorer 11. Troubleshooting steps that I've tried so far (that haven't worked) are as follows:

It seems you installed mixed version Office2007/2010/2013 on your client machine?
I would suggest you remove all Office 2007 and 2010 version, and reinstall Office 2013(include Office Tools->Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Support component) on your machine, and make sure "Open SharePointDocuments class" add-on is enabled
from IE11, then check if it could fix the issue.
If above works, please test again after installing the Office Communicator 2007 r2 on your machine.
