"Unable to install 5.1.1" error, over-the-air
So when my iPhone downloaded the bar didn't move at all until it jumped to full and said 5.1.1 was ready to install. It started installing, but the bar under the apple logo while updating never moved. It suddenly restarted and went to the lock screen normally. I went to settings to check for a update to see if it installed, but is says 5.1.1 is downloaded from the Internet, but not installed. I keep on trying to click install on my phone, but it says verifying update then pops up a "unable to update" and underneath say "an error occurred installing iOS 5.1.1." I'm thinking it downloaded faulty, so that's why it won't verify correctly. How do I delete the downloaded software so I can get a clean download. Reseting, powering down doesn't work. My computer is not available so I can only update the OTA or wireless way. All answers are appreciated
Best choice: Update using iTunes.
Other choice (if you've backed up everything to iCloud):
Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings > follow prompts to reactivat the phone > check for Software Updates as you did before.

If you did the update through iTunes, try going into the Settings App on your iPhone and doing the Software Update in there. The same thing happened to me, and the wireless update worked.

You're probably running into the servers simply being swamped. Thousands of people are all going for the software update at the same time. Give it a try again and if that doesn't work, then try plugging it into your computer and trying it that way.
I didn't get a notion of the size, it doesn't seem to be as big as the 700 meg 5.0 update, but it did take me 20+ minutes to download via cable internet so it's a large file. That in and of itself takes a while.
If you're trying to download it directly to your iPhone, you'll need to be on wifi since I'm sure it's well over the 20 meg file size limit for 3G. -
My Ipad model A1397 (MC763LL/A) indicates unable to install update. An error occurred installing iOS 8.1.1. How do I fix this?

IOS Profile installed Over-the-Air cannot be updated
When the IOS Profile was installed Over-The-Air and the expiration times arrives, the profile cannot be updated. When tapping on the "Update Profile" button, there is the error:"The profile “iOS Enrollment Server” is invalid"
Steps to Reproduce:

2. The profile has an expiration time.

AleIt is actually more simple than iTunes lets u believe.
If you just download an older version of iTunes, most likly the one u had before u updated ur computer, that should fix it and then you can update ur ipod and then get the newer version of iTunes.
Thats what i had to do when i got that exact same error just a few months ago.

I am having a issue installing Adobe Acrobat XI. I am running Windows 8.1. When go to install it gets an error. The error is with transform in registry and will not install product. I am looking at how I can fix this registry problem.

I have re-installed JSDK1.4.2_03, set the "path" variable to "C:\JSDK1.4.2_03".
When I compile using "javac" I get an error saying "javac" is not recognised.
When I compile using "C:\j2sdk1.4.2_03\bin\javac Freq.java" no error is thrown.
Every time I try to run a java file, I always get the NoClassDefFound error. When run with the -verbose option, files are loaded from C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_03\bin - is this correct?
I have removed all previous references to java in the registry editor.

Is it possible to install a consumer app for mass usage that would alter the ios device proxy settings? Over the air not supervised. Can an app company use an MDM server to do this if the customer consents?

Unable to install flash player. After downloading the Adobe FLash Player Installer and running it, a grey pop up window opens up but nothing is displayed in it. There is no progress bar or anything and even after keeping it running for a long time there is no progress. Please help with this issue.

Move (or access) Aperture library to new mac from other mac (over the air)
I had Aperture 1.5.6 on my iMac. I upgraded to snow leopard and now Aperture will not work. Apple says the old version does not work with the new. Now I cant get to any of my pics. So I loaded my copy of Aperture on my Macbook air which still has leopard. No probs with the install but I cant move my library. I can see the Aperture library file on the iMac over the air from my macbook. I want to either import over the air or access over the air. I tried to chance the location of the library in aperture on my MBA but when I drilled down to the library on my iMac it said "not writable". I "got info" to make sure my MBA had read and write permissions for all the files on my Imac (and it does) but still no joy. Any help?
MattYou can't access it "over the air." Aperture cannot edit a library over a network share point.
Copy the library to the MacBook Air and you can use it from there. -

I don't know about the connection error, But i don't recommend you do it over the air, It'd costa fortune over gprs to update it.

I have a new AP1310 installed on the tower which has the bridge associated with the root bridge. I can ping the new AP on the same subnet but I can't find it on the WLC. The AP is on the same subnet of the WLC. Does anyone have done provisioning the AP over the air? Is is the same as LAN connection?
Please help. I am really appreciated that.In later code OTAP is not available. Do you have the SSC added to the WLC?

Have anyone managed to distribute your development app to another iphone Over The Air?
I have been giving out adhoc apps to clients by including their UDIDs into a distributable license and recompile my flash iphone project again and again...
You can imagine how troublesome it is, as long as one more customer want to view it, i need to get their UDID, and then i have to edit the license and include that UDID and then recompile the flash project AGain......
I heard that some people actually are distributing adhoc apps Over The Air, i.e. you just send a link to someone, and he/she click on that link and then he/she will download the app and start trying it immediately. No license installed or no UDID needed at all...
How's tat being done?
Is tat possible for flash cs5 compiled projects?
