If you created the Apple ID with a credit card you need a valid payment in your method in your account even for free items. You will not be permentely charged for free items but you may get a temporary hold against the credit card

this is a very urgent and important question. i nedd your assinstance.
i have iphone 3g. i was working well. about 2 months earlier i bought an app of $2.99. after then every thing was okay. but last week i installed some free games and 2 days later itunes send me a reciept via email and you guyz charged me $34. now whenever i try to install free apps they want my billing info. please i need your help and want those money back.
$34 for free games , i will show u the reciept. if its not possible to get the money back i will forced to take proper action.

The games might be free but I think you've clicked In-App purchase which cost money. You are warned before you accept the In-App purchase. You not that young and you can read so take action if you must. It's your own fault and all purchases are final. Good luck.

To verify that you are who you claim to be in the country where you claim to
be so you can use that country's AppStore. Also because many free apps have in-app
purchases.

Unable to download more free games from Ovi Store.

I some few rounds I've been able to download free games from Ovi Store, unfortunately when I was about to download more games, the red "error" note suddenly appear individually to the downloading games at the "New Downloads" section. I really don't know whats the problem, I've checked the internet connection and it was working and I can still browse other sites. kindly please offer me some help, I was really planning to download more games and applications since I've just recently bought this Nokia E7 phone.

Please try to clear the cache or clear privacy data of your phone. You will find that under Menu-Web-options.
if still won't work, try to switch the phone off and siwtch it back on by pressing the power buttin for 8secs and wait until it vibrate 3 times.

If you have a credit card on file on top of your gift card then it is asking you to confirm the security code for the card, which for a Visa or MasterCard is 3 digits located on the back, or AMEX has 4 digits on the front. This happens just to ensure that you are the account holder, and would happen from time to time whether it was a free or paid app, even if you have a credit through your gift card. This doesn't mean that your credit card will be charged.

'Account' in the sense it is used here, really relates to ownership rather than the purchase of something. When you have a free app, it is yours and in the event you accidentally delete it and want it back, it's formally recorded in your purchases folder.

Again, you can only synch iTunes media (including music, apps, videos) from ONE APPLE ID ACCOUNT (AND ITUNES LIBRARY) AT A TIME. If you try and synch to another account, the ones from the original account will be deleted.
