Unable to install copy of PSE9 to new computer after installing the new drivers from this forum.
I have a new computer and wanted to instal my previously downloaded version of PSE9. As the installers were outdated I contact the online chat and was directed to this forum. I downloaded the new installers and now need to look at how I download the PSE9 using the serial number. I know the number just haven't been asked to enter it and not sure if I have properly downloaded the PSE9.

I have purchased a mac mini only to find I am unable to run Logic pro 9 , is there any way this can be achieved? It has been suggested that I partition the drive and install a copy of an older operating system to run the Logic Pro, is this feasible?

Only with a whole lot of effort and instability. As the new Minis have
hardware (HD4000, USB 3.0, etc.) that is totally unsupported in old OSes.

I have a 2 yr old Iphone 4 and have not backed up or connected to Itunes up for 1 yr. I have new Windows 7 computer and want to connect and copy Itunes backed up folder from external HD (a year ago) to new computer and install new Itunes and new IOS. What steps should I take and what precautions? I don't want to lose any data on my phone such as music, photos, contacts, notes, texts etc, nor lose music from prior backed up Itune folder. On my new computer I installed Itunes. I wanted Itunes to use my portable harddrive for music, but instead it copied my library to the hard drive of my computer, filling it almost full. I didn't realize this happened until I synced my iphone to Itunes. How do I fix this? I want to delete the library from my hard drive of my computer, and use the library from my portable hard drive.

I had downloaded and used Final Cut Pro 7 (studio 3) on my mac, but it died. Can I download it to my new computer without buying a new copy? I'm not sure of the number of installations for academic copies. How would I do this?

There is no limit on the times you can install it from the DVDs. There's just a limit as to being able to run it on multiple machines AT THE SAME TIME. If your old computer dies, or you sell it (please reformat the drive so they don't get FCP for free), then you can install on a new computer fine. And you are allowed to install on (1) desktop and (1) laptop at the same time as well...but only use it on one machine at any given time. Meaning you can use it on the desktop at work, and then when away from the office, on your laptop.
Long story short...you can install it fine without any issues. -

Try this solution to fix permission issue:
Modify the manifest.xml file located in My Documents\My Digital
Editions:
STEPS
1) Quit Digital Editions
2) Make a backup copy of the manifest.xml (call it something like
manifest.good)
3) Open manifest.xml in notepad
4) It will appears as one big long line of xml, and you are looking for a
tag called start at the beginning of this
and select until you the end of the tag that looks called </de:deviceID>
5) If you have attached more than one Reader there may be multiple of
these. Delete all of them to make sure.
6) Save the file (manifest.xml) and quit out of notepad
7) Ensure you have the Reader plugged in
8) Launch Digital Editions
9) The Device Setup Assitant should come up.
a) Do NOT click on the "Don't ask again for this device" checkbox.
b) Do click on the "Authorize Device" button. -

If you do not plan on using the old computer, you are better off deactivating your suite, then uninstall. But as far as the license goes you are allowed to have it installed on two computers but only one copy can run at a time. This is meant to allow you to have it on your desktop and laptop as that is the most common senerio.
If you already have it installed on two systems and can not access one of them to deactivate it, you can call adobe and see if they can do it for you, not sure if they will but it is worth a try. -
I did not deactivate a photoshop cs6 before there was a new "C" hard drive installed on my computer and a Win7 Pro fresh install too. How can I activate photoshop on the new hardware if I can't deactivate it on the old hardware that is no longer available? Any help will be appreciated.
If it's the same machine (same CPU) there should not be any need to activate. The actiovation is tied to your CPU.

I have a new 21 inch imac oct 2011 version. I installed bootcamp and windows xp on my machine and i also installed parallels 6.
Paralleles works great and i can open any program with it. But bootcamp also works EXCEPT it refuses to give me access to the internet. I installed the bootcamp drivers from my snow leopard disk, it did not make a difference. All the drivers installed but still no internet. I then installed the bootcamp drivers from the gray mac osx disk (#1) but it stopped installing with an error number ( 2753) and it said that the package was damaged.
I have tried everything; i opened each disk and trieed installing the files separately. Nothing.
What i see missing in my devices screen in XP is the network adapter.
I have a router (dlink-dr615) and it is connected by ethernet to my imac. I wonder if THIS might have anything to do with the problem. Any guidance would be much appreciated.

I had a iPhone 4 and then got a new computer, I installed iTunes to it but my new computer refused to sync with my phone, i backed up my phone via icloud and purchased tracks etc from iTunes, but now i have a new iPhone 5C and I backed it up via the icloud, not all data was transfered, music etc.

Last Resort, put the iPhone in DFU mode (Google How to do that). Connect in iTunes. Follow on-screen prompts to Restore. All Data would be lost, if not backed up earlier.
To save the photographs you may have to use third party software. Google is your friend.
