Unable to install Creative Suite 5 Design Premium - Windows 7
The hard drive on my laptop is failing. I was able to actually uninstall Adobe’s Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium.
Now I am trying to install on my new laptop, a Toshiba Satellite S50-A running Windows 7. The processor is Intel® Core ™ i7-4700MQ CPU @2.40 GHz 2.40 GHz. RAM: 16.0 GB. 64-bit Operating System. 1TB hard drive.
After trying to install the first time, I received the following error messages:

So, following the instructions, I did a clean boot and turned off the antivirus program and the firewall (as well as disconnecting from the internet.)
After this attempt, I received the following error message:

It says "display requirements not met", which means your screen resolution is either actually too small or misconfigured in such a way that the installer can't detect its settings...

Error (-1) when trying to install creative suite 5 design premium
I am trying to install on new desktop, and get error(-1) code. I did have this on old laptop, but it quit working. Please help
Amyjoan50 I am sorry but I don't have any experience with attempting to run Creative Suite 5 in a virtual box. You will want to make sure that the applications have access to the necessary video drivers. This can often be an issue when trying to run a virtual OS.
You may also want to check with the Ubuntu or Virtual Box community to see if others have had success trying to install using Virtual Box. -
Problem Installing Creative Suite 4 design premium.
It would get to second disc, stop and have an errors. I ran the CS4 cleanscript and now on install I get a window that tells me I do not have SP1 for Vista installed (which I do). I went to MS and downloaded SP1 again but I still get the same error message right at the beggining of install after the systems check is done and it gets ready to install. Anyone else have this issue or know the problem?

SusanOkay, I went back and did a system restore for before I had tried to install CS4. Here again is the previous error message and why I used the utility to try to clean it up first. It says...Done with Errors and that the following products failed to install..Flash, InDesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop, Version Cue.here is more details

The failure is not because of display requirement but because of the below string in log which is strange.
Install MSI payload failed with error: 1620 - This installation package could not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package.
1) Do you have any internet security software or Anti-virus software installed ? if yes, could you please turn it off and then check.
2) Are you installing from DVD or download link ? -

I had all my software, including my ‘Adobe Creative Suite 4 Design Premium’ removed from my MacPro (OSX 10.10.2) by a Computer technician after I had inadvertently installed some malware.
Now I can’t reinstall my CS4 because the installer software wants me to identify the product from which I am upgrading, but mine isn’t on the list. The old product from which I am upgrading is called ‘Adobe Design Collection’. Furthermore, it has 4 serial numbers (one each for Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat and Illustrator), not just one, as the installer requires.
I know this can be done, as I have had it working for a long time. Am I doing something wrong now?Contact support be web chat and have them generate a working temporary serial/ challenge code for the install.

New computer win 8.1 pro, installed my creative Suite 4 Design premium but it shuts down when I try to use any of the programs and gives me an error code 147:20. How can I fix this? Is this a conflict with win 8.1 pro?
You need to adjust your security stuff/ permissions and possibly use compatibility modes. It means that your licensing service is being blocked/ shut down.

I have an old version Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premium. I uninstalled it from my old computer and was trying to install it on my new computer. It copied all the files but I cant open them and it doesn't ask me for my registration info, which I have. What shall I do to get Adobe up and running?
when you were install your cs3 you should have been prompted for you serial number. were you?
if not, you probably didn't properly install cs3. copying/migrating/moving etc is problematic.
if yes, did you see any error messages during installation?
if yes, attach a screenshot of the error message.
if not, check you install logs, Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6, CC -

I purchased the Adobe Creative Suite 5 design premium program a few months ago last year. I need to know if, I Can install this program on to a Apple MacBook Pro laptop computer if, this program is for a windows pc?? My mother isn't going buy another one of these programs they are too expensive to keep buying.Standalone licenses are platform-specific. If you are still eligible for ediu pricing, simply buy a current product for Mac at the discounted price. Otherwise you would have to upgrade to CS6 and make the platform switch along with it.

I bought a new iMac 27" yesterday, running with Mavericks OS. Attempting to download Adobe Creative Suite 5 Design Premium. Loaded software from discs. When I check for updates they fail to install. A window comes up saying "Some updates failed to install." Then under each applications it says "There was an error downloading this update. Please quit and try again later." Have done this several times. Suggestions?
