Unable to install CS5.5 Master Collection

I have a Black MacBook 2008 (2.4GHz Intel Core Duo 2, 4Gb Ram, 667Mhz) that has had the CS5 Design Collection running well. I purchased the CS5.5 upgrade to the Master Collection but when I try to install the software I get an error saying the installer failed to initialise. It suggests I download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem - which I did. It ran its diagnostics but was unable to detect a problem. It gave me a number to write down in case I had to contact support. the number is 00-34797-014815062012. What do I do?
Forgot to mention that the installer created a folder on my desktop titled 'core' which I am unable to open.
I have tried to contact support but am unable to access the chat support and I think I won't be able to call Adobe Australia until Monday morning. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Support via chat solved the problem.
Make a new user account with admin privileges. Restart and login with new account.
Insert install disk and start install program. Installation should then proceed without problems.
When completed restart and log in with your usual account and all should work.

I can't install CS5.5 master collection trial on my windows 7 desktop,
it allways get stock when installing adobe help (7%) or adobe story (25%).
I unintall and reintall 5 times, I never get beyond 25%.
I also tried to use your offical clearn tool, don't work.

I update to Windows 7 SP1 and run the installation download from adobe download assistant, but still get stuck on installing adobe help and adobe dreamweaver widget browser.
After that, I think maybe my file has some error during the download process, so I re-download from direct link in this article:

In first installation, with anti-virus and firewall closed, I still get stuck on adobe help : (
So I try to install under windows safe mode (without internet connection and commend window), this work !
Although I got a DW050 error, but I think that is because I interrupt the install process earlier.
I'll try to install all software in the master collection suite tomorrow. (I just install acrobat, PS, AI, indesign, flash, DW and fireworks, in oder to make the process quickly)
And I have another question,
I saw some software have 32 and 64 bit in the installation file in the direct link I provided.
Do I have to install both version or just install my windows version (64 bit only) ?
For now, I only install 64bit, and it works find.

Installing CS5.5 Master Collection Students Edition - Error at Setup

Hello,
after I reinstalled my Win7x64 I put my Adobe DVD's in the DVD-Drive (yes , once a time starting at #1).
standard stuff : serial, ID and options work fine :
C:/ is to small so i select D:/ as drive and my desired products
after hitting the install button, it gets weird.
It constantly says 0% and demands the 2nd DVD after some time, "continue" and swoosh "please insert #3" - still 0% - I click continue.
Then it "finishes" and this message shows up: - please help

Help!!!Urgent!!! Please!!! Installing CS5.5 master collection programs

I downloaded CS5.5 master collection but didn't install all the programs. What happened to the ones I didn't install? Where can I find them? Can I install them later? Do I have to download the whole collection again? Where is the installer for the rest of the programs? I cannot find the installer. I found a folder "a folder CS5.5 master collection" at the location I provided while downloading, but the folder was empty. Nothing was there. No .app file was found. When I was downloading the programs, I saw an icon on my desktop, but it disappeared when once the download was completed. The icon looked like a disc. I'm using OS X 10.6 system.

yes, I saw that one. However, it shows up as an uninstaller. It seems I can only uninstall things that I have in my system instead of installing programs I don't have.

So I just bought a new mac book pro the other day. I am trying to install the trial version of cs5.5 master collection through google chrome or safari. I can download the adobe download assistant file but cannot run it. What am I doing wrong?

Uninstalling CS3 and Installing CS5.5 (Master Collection)

I purchased CS 5.5 master collection so that I could use the current CS3 master collection on another older machine. My question is this: What is the best way to uninstall the CS3 master collection on my current machine (Windows 7 - 64bit) so I can then install the new full version CS5.5 master collection? Also, is there anything that I need to be aware of as far as backing up on the old software settings? Just trying to avoid headaches.

The only thing you would need to worry about is any "presets" that you created yourself. So actions, swatches, brushes, etc. need to be backed up. Its best to uninstall cs3 before installing cs5 and not after as this can cause issues with file associations.
If the second computer that your were planning on putting cs3 on is your only other computer, you should be able to put cs5 on it instead, as the license is suppose to be for 2 systems, but only one can run at a time. To my knowledge this license doesn't take into consideration the version number of the software. So if cs5 if on your new system and a laptop for example, you can not put cs3 onto a third computer since the license is for what I assume to be an upgrade.
If you paid full price then the last paragraph is a moot point.

Urgent!!! Please!!! Installing CS5.5 master collection components

I downloaded CS5.5 master collection but didn't install all the components. What happened to the ones I didn't install? Where can I find them? Can I install them later? Do I have to download the whole collection again? Where is the installer for the rest of the components? I'm using MAC OX 10.6 system.

What do you mean when you say "components?" Do you mean programs such as Illustrator, InDesign. If you've only installed a few programs, and would like to install others at a later date, you could run the installer again and then choose the ones that you haven't installed.
Or it could be that you tried to install all of them, and because of system requirements, some did not get installed. For example, Premiere Pro which requires a 64-bit OS and you don't have one.
For a better reply, I'm afraid, you'll have to provide more details. What were you trying to install, what got installed, and did you get an error message?

I have installed CS5.5 Master collection, I am still getting this trial version, urgent problem!

I don't know what's happening, I removed the CS5.5 from my laptop, reinstalled the CS5.5 into my laptop, and for some unknown reason I keep getting this irratating trial version 30 days. What must I do to eliminate this trial version from my computer permanently?

Problems installing CS5.5 Master Collection

I completed disc 1 and it said to insert disc 2 to continue. I ejected disc 1 and inserted disc 2 then clicked continue. After I click continue, the screen flashes then goes back to the message to insert disc 2 and continue. I have restarted installation 4 times now and get the same message. Disc 2 is recognized and I can open it, it just doesn't seem to be continuing the installation process. HELP PLEASE!!

Can not install CS5.5 master collection, says its corrupt when i try.

i Have tried downloading it on different computers, downloaded it with firewall and anti virus turned off, i have tried everything mentioned and it still will not work, can you please help.

CS5.5 Master Collection License Agreement keeps poping up

Hi,
I just installed CS5.5 Master Collection and it all went well.
When I start any application in the suite the License Agreement comes up and I click "Accept" the box goes away then it pops back up.
My choices are "Quit" or "Accept" quit does what its supposed to do and quits, but accept just loop me back to the License Agreement.
I uninstalled CS5, and CS5.5 and reinstalled CS5.5 and nothing changed. I still have Director 11.5 installed.
This is a Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. CS5.5 Master Collection is a 5 seat license and we've installed 2 already with no problems.

Just got a call back from Adobe
The fix:
Delete the license db cache file and start any of the CS5.5 products (I started Photoshop)
File they had me delete to make it all work
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe PCD\cache\cache.db

CS5.5 Master Collection install issues

I have a physical copy of CS5.5 master collection but when it installed on my Mac Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and Flash couldn't be accessed. I uninstalled these 3 applications and now that I'm trying to reinstall the applications I'm getting and error 7 message. Does anyone know how to correct this?

Thanks Mylenium. I uninstalled the suite, ran the cleaner and re downloaded but I'm still having problems. Flash downloaded this time but Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash Catalyst, and Flash builder did not. After install I was given this error
