Unable to install Elements 10. The Wizard failed to install Shared Technologies. Please help.
After PC repair I am unable to re-install Photoshop Elements 10 from a bundled disc as the Wizard was interupted. The Shared Technologies failed to install.
I am using Windows XP Pro. I have been struggling with this problem for 6 weeks now and would very much appreciare some help.

I am trying to reload Photoshop Elements 10 and Premier Elements 10 from a bundled disc, after a PC repair. These programs worked perfectly before the problems with my PC.
I do not get a specific error.
The program runs through the process including loading the serial number until, just when I think that the programs are fully loaded I get the following message.
Installation Wizard Completed
The Wizard was interrupted before Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 could be completely installed.
The below mentioned application failed to install.
Shared Technologies.
I am signed on as the Administrator whilst trying to install the software.
I don't know if the folder/files are locked.
I have run the Microsoft Fix It program and that reports that there are no problems.

I purchased elements 12. I have downloaded the virtual disc. I open it and the 5 packages appear. I click the Install. the installer fails to initialise. ..my machine is up to date. Support advisor says that there are no issues. ..??

installed numerous programs, though I must admit that I am not up to speed
with the tec terms. I am in no doubt that there is an issue with the
installation - I also get a popup that tells me that the installer failed
to launch. I wonder is there any issues installing elements and the new mac
10.9 maveric - it was released not so long ago and thus experience with it
has been limited.
I can add that I am running Lightroom and it works fine.

Have purchased a new computer but can not install elements 12 since it has been installed on an older laptop. This is a one time user program, is there a code that can be put in or a small fee to pay to be able to use the program again. Never installed the video editing and hoping this can be installed with no problem.
If the laptop is still connected Launch Elements in Expert Mode. Go to the help menu and sign-out. That will deactivate usage on the laptop.

You need to tell us more about your system. We don't even know what operating system you are using, so this is slightly pointless... Also have a look at the install logs and pick out the information we may need.

Hook your phone up to iTunes on the computer you sync with and do your update from there. This is a robust iOS release, and doing it OTA is not always successful. I tried on my iPhone a couple of times, and it aborted the update twice. Did it via the Mac, and it was fine.
It takes a bit of time, so hook it up, make sure it is updating your phone, and then find something else to do for a couple of hours.

My iPod Nano 7th Generation couldn't be detected by iTunes when I plugged in. Sorry about that, yes, 10.5 and 10.6 on Intel can run Firefox 4.
Here's the process to roll back:
First, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Backing+up+your+information Backing up your information]. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)
Next, download and save Firefox 3.6 to your desktop for future installation. http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all-older
You could install Firefox 3.6 over Firefox 4 (many have reported success) or you could uninstall Firefox first. If you uninstall, do not remove your personal data and settings, just the program.
Firefox 3.6 should pick up where you left off. If there are serious issues, please post back with details.

Is the app still in your country's store (if it isn't then you won't be able to redownload it), you haven't changed countries since buying it (content is tied to the country as well as the account), and it isn't hidden : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919 ?
If the app is no longer in your country's store then do you have a copy of it on your computer's iTunes library and/or on your backup of your downloads/library ? -
