Unable to install HP 7610 on pcs
I'm unable to install my printer any more on any pc.The printer is HP 7610.The printer connect correctly to my wireless router, i manage to ping the printer from pc, i manage to access the web page of the printer from the browser.When i try to setup the printer, the driver do not automatically find it over the network.I try to insert manually the IP, and the driver again do not detect anything, and tells me to run the troubleshooing wizard (that do not solve anything). So i try again and i/o inserting manually the ip i insert the host name, this time the setup device starts , but finishes after 10 minutes saying that the setup failed. I though a problem with wireless, but if i try to print from my iphone and ipad the print out is immediately executed. I tried also to run also the print doctor.. and it run without problem and can find the printer, and it reports that there are no error. I tried :- uninstall driver and reinstall , same problem- fresh install of OS ( both windows 8.1 and windows 10) same problem the printer is out of warranty, but i don't think it is broken.i don't know what to do ... any suggestion ? I would like to assist you today with resolving this installation issue. Thank you for including all of the troubleshooting steps that you have completed prior to reaching out for support. Because you are able to ping the printer and open up the printers Embedded Web Server we know that your printer and computer are communicating over the wireless network. Therefore, I believe that there is either a background program running on your computer that is blocking the two way communication between your printer and the computer during the install. Or, there is an HP Software and Driver conflict occuring within the HP Installer. Therefore, to start troubleshooting I am going to have you perform some standard wireless installation troubleshooting steps to help us to isolate and resolve this issue. Please follow the steps below. Step 1: Remove Driver: Even though the installation is failing, there is a chance that a portion of the software and driver package made its way onto your computer. For troubleshooting purposes it is crucial that we have a clean slate to work with. Because of this I am going to have you remove every trace of your HP Officejet from your computer prior to performing the fix. Open your Start screen by selecting the Windows icon on the bottom left of your computer screen, or by selecting the Windows key on the bottom left of your keyboard, to the right of the Ctrl buttonUnder the Start screen type Programs and Features. Click Programs and Features to launch the window.In Programs and Features a list of programs installed on your computer will populate. Please scroll down this list and look for your HP Officejet. If you see your HP Officejet please select it and choose Uninstall. Please follow any onscreen prompts to complete the uninstall. Once the uninstall is complete please close Programs and Features.If you do not see your HP Officejet listed, please close Programs and Features.Next, please open your Start screen againThis time type Devices and Printers. Step 4: Install Device: Please click here to download the Full Feature Software and Driver package for your printerOnce the download is complete please follow the onscreen prompts to install your wireless printerOnce the installation has completed successfully please test printing and scanning to confirm that your product is functioning as per normal. I have lots of space and my pc is Win 7 64 bit new machine. I have connection to internet and I was able to get the others done. What is the problem here and I have been trying to work late night hours to try to install the program and I am unable
to successfully get it to work. I receive the same message every time and I followed all the recommended troubleshoot steps I found on the internet. Someone please help. I have to install all for all the PCs we have for our organization.

First, please check the suggestion above is helpful. I also suggest you removing all version of Office and re-install Office 2013.
We can try to run the application as an administrator and check if it works.
1. Right click the shortcut of the application or the main application.
2. Select properties.
3. Select compatibility tab and select "Run this program as an administrator."

CF9: Unable to install ODBC service
I am trying to install CF9 (developer edition) in Tomcat 7 as a .war file on Windows XP (32-bit). I go through the installation process to generate the cfusion.war file without any problems. I place the cfusion.war file in my webapps directory and start Tomcat. The server comes up fine - still no issues.
I then go to http://localhost:8080/cfusion/CFIDE/administrator/ to complete the installation. This results in errors in the logs about installing ODBC:

Thanks!Well, I found this link (http://www.elliottsprehn.com/cfbugs/bugs/79023) that suggests installing JRun. It's almost the exact same problem I have. So I did that.
When I now try to start the server I get an Error 193. In the event log, I see this:
The ColdFusion 9 ODBC Server service failed to start due to the following error:
ColdFusion 9 ODBC Server is not a valid Win32 application.
It looks like progress, but I'm still not there yet.
I have verified that I have downloaded 32-bit versions of both ColdFusion and JRun. And I am running on a 32-bit system (XP). So I'm not sure where exactly this error is coming from or what it means.

I just wanted to update in case anyone in the future has a similiar experience. Too bad this advice was not offered by the "experts" here.

Unable to install SQL Server CE Server Tool on SQL Server 2000 SP 4
Hi
I am facing problem with installing SQL Server CE Server Tool,
I have installed SQL Server 2000 SP 4 which is working fine.
While i am running Setup of "SQL Server 2000 Windows CE Edition version 2.0" ,Developer tools installed successfully but incase of SQL Server CE Server Tool i am getting following Error
"SQL Server CE Tool is compatible only with SQL Server 2000 Service pack 1 and higher.
When you install SQL Server CE Server Tools on a computer running both IIS and SQL Server 2000 , ensure the installer for SQL Server CE Server Tools corresponds To the version of SQL Server 2000."
I am sure that i have running SQL Server 2000 SP 4 (MSDE also SP 4) , IIS (Version 5.1) is also working fine , and one more thing i am trying to install SQL Server CE Server Tool setup is "sqlce20sql2ksp4.exe" (Which i downloaded from microsoft site.).Here all the requirement is fulfill but i dont know what is going to wrong.
I wasted my 2 days behind solving this issue , now i am tiered ,So please any one have solution for this issue.

The Windows XP needs a SATA driver if you want to install it on the notebook with SATA HDD controller.
The SATA driver can be found in the Intel Storage Manager.
I would recommend using the nLite program to include a SATA driver into the new Windows XP CD and then to boot from the new created XP CD.

Maybe you will be able to install in on Windows XP. Possibly there is a compatibility issue between the Vista and the SQL server software -

Unable to install Sql Server 2008 R2 express on windows 2003
Hi,
I am unable to install sql server express edition with management tools, on windows server 2003. During rules check, it gives an error that minimum os version is not supported.
.net framework requirements have been met.
Is there something that I am missing ? Any pointers would be of immense help

Whats is Service Pack edition of Windows 2003 server.As per prerequisites it requires SP2 for windows Server 2003 I guess your server is not updated to latest SP.Please refer below link for hardware and software requirement

I am unable to install sql server 2008 r2 standard edition on windows server 2008 r2 sp1.
On the Setup Support Files page, choose Install this step I don't get any other window i.e. nothing happens I waited for 5-10 min. Then I checked the log file.

The following are a few things you can try:
Copy the media to the local disk drive, unzip it (in case you are installing from an ISO file, and run SQL Server setup from there.
Try to unregister and register the Windows Installer with the following two commands:
msiexec /unregister
msiexec /regserver
Try to use Process Monitor to log the detailed error produced when the installation of dw20sharedamd64.msi fails. You can download Process Monitor from the following link:

Blogs say anti-virus is stopping but I dont have one on the system.
Note: I had used SQL 2008 on the system previously and has a refresh i have deleted all the software to speed up the system.

As your description, you come across an error(vsjitdebugger.exe cannot be found). Please confirm if the error occurs during the installation of SQL Server 2012. If so, please help post SQL Server setup logs. By default, SQL Server setup log file locates
in C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\110\Setup Bootstrap\Log.
Base on my research, this error could be caused by that the previous uninstallation is improper and vsjitdebugger.exe file could be mistakenly deleted.
To troubleshoot the issue, you could start your computer into Safe Mode and fix your problem with one of the following methods. For more information, please refer to the article:

1. You could execute the sfc /scannow command following steps below.
a. Press "Windows+R", type in cmd and then right click "Run as administrator"

2. You could use a Windows repair installation, also known as a Startup Repair to repair your Windows system files.

Unable to install Creative Cloud
Hello,
I have an extra seat who needs to use Creative Cloud for his job. He cannot install the Creative Cloud application and when trying to do so afresh, he constantly gets the error "Unable to install Creative Cloud Please close all active Adobe applications and retry your installation" message via the dmg image installer file. There are no other or active Adobe application on his iMac and no Adobe application running anywhere on the machine.
iMac OS X 10.8.5, 2.9GHz.
The problem reoccurs even after navigating to the Applications/Utilities folder and putting the folders Adobe Application Manager folder and Creative Cloud to the Trash and emptying it. Then navigating to the Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE folder and renaming it to OOBE.old, then again downloading Creative Cloud desktop from the URL https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud and trying again to install it.
Despite all of this, the same "Unable to install Creative Cloud Please close all active Adobe applications and retry your installation" message prompt comes up and the installation of the Creative Cloud application is abandoned.
This is a very frustrating experience. What is the workaround to get this appliaction installed so he can get on with his work as soon as possible?
PaulSorry for taking so long but I was unable to access my pc. Now that I've got it here is the screenshot of the error. It's in italian:
It says something like:

As I said before even downloading it again I get the same file and the same error.
