Unable to install optus wirless internet software

Question

I'm using the newest model of the power pc imacs, the one just before the Intel's came out. its been good to me up until the last year. programs have gradually stopped working, dead pixels are popping up here and there. i did a reboot but programs like itunes, preview, imovie etc. still don't work. WOW and safari still work and that's all i use so it doesn't bother me.
well here's my problem, I'm living on a boat now and only have wireless Internet available (i used to use a modem via ethernet). when i plug in the wireless modem it comes up as a CD, i run the installer and it all goes great till i have to sect a destination to install it to. there's nothing there to choose from.
we also have another windows laptop with wireless/blue-tooth that can use the Internet. i don't know if i can link the computers up and use the Internet via the windows one.
buying a new comp. is out of the question since I'm broke and so is installing wow on the windows as i no longer have the disc's. i could simply not play wow but its not a likely course of action.
so i guess what I'm looking for is a guide (if it can be done) to connecting the 2 computers + Internet or a solution to my installing woes. and like i said before, reinstalling os x was unsuccessful.

To set up an OptusZoo Username:

Enter www.optuszoo.com.au/owbsetup into the address field of your
internet browser.
Enter a desired Username and Password and click next. This Username will
allow you to access the OptusZoo member Services.
Follow the onscreen steps to complete your sign up.
For your convenience, we have provided an area at the front of this guide for
you to record your details.

As far as Internet Sharing from the PC to the Mac, it can be done, you need to infprm of what Windows® version yu're using, ad what other ports are availableon both Computers, like Ethernet, Wifi, Forewire, etc.
