after downloading new version of Firefox 4 I am unable to use touch pad for scrolling. I have tried installing and uninstalling the new version but this problem has always been occuring. I do not know how to fix this problem so I always return to the old version.

If you have problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the DMG file to the desktop
    * Firefox 5.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
    * Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean (re-)install
    * Install the new version that you have downloaded
Your profile data is stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder, so you won't lose your bookmarks and other personal data.

  • Itunes 64 bit on windows 7 is unable to install, i have the 64 bit installer version but it keeps saying "errors occurred" at the ( rolling back ) phase. HELP!

itunes 64 bit on windows 7 is unable to install, i have the 64 bit installer version but it keeps saying "errors occurred" at the ( rolling back ) phase. HELP!!!

I have the answer and this might be useful for any one else wondering about this in the future. If it helped you or explained what you wanted to know. Replay to the post pls
It's quite easy actually. First have your "iTunes Library Extras", "iTunes Library Genius", "iTunes Library", and "iTunes Music Library" backed up. Download ans install iTunes 64-bit. I don't know what's so 64-bit about iTunes 64 since Win7 reports it as a 32-bit application in the task manager. But anyway. Install iTunes 64 and launch it. If you migrated your library to another drive like me go to settings in iTunes and change the directory to your location. Close iTunes. Replace the newly created files with your backed up files. Launch iTunes. iTunes will load and then update your library and from there you are set to go! so basically it is just like a normal upgrade. But if you hesitated to go from 32 to 64 like me, here is your answer.
By the way. I'm using Windows 7 64-bit with iTunes 64-bit and it works without problems and syncing with my iPod Touch also works flawlessly.

To clarify further....  It is important to note that Forms/Repors 11.1.2.x software (including WLS and JDK) must be of the same archetecture as the machine.  In other words, you cannot use the 32bit Forms/Reports 11.1.2 software on 64bit Windows.  If you are using a 64bit OS, you must install the 64bit software.  Again, this would include Forms/Reports, WLS, and JDK

  • Adobe Authentication Failure error occurs when trying to log into the Reader (eBook) Store or activate a device.

    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

This error will occur when your Reader Store login information (email and password) do not match your Adobe ID login information (email and password). When you create a Reader Store account, an Adobe ID is automatically created. If one already exists for your email address, the passwords must match or you will be prompted with this box to provide the different password. You may also see the error codes 2055, 2057, 2052, 2053, 2056 or 2059 for this issue.
When the Adobe password is changed, the Reader (ebook) Store password will not change. You can change your Reader Store email address or password to be the same as your Adobe ID (account) or password to avoid the previous step any time you authorize a PC or Reader in the future.
IMPORTANT: Both the Reader store and Adobe passwords must be between 6-12 characters. Adobe and Reader Store passwords can be different. However, it is easier to access content if the same password is used for both accounts.
    NOTES:
If you don't remember your Adobe ID or password, you can go to the following link for assistance: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/167/tn_16721.html

  • I have recently tried to access my itunes account but am unable to.  I installed and uninstalled the new download several times.  I know I have a balance from itunes cards on my account as I received an email recently.  I have an ipod shuffle

I have tried to access the itunes store by many different means.  I know I have account balance as I put in 2 gift cards back in March and have not used them all.  I recently installed and uninstalled itunes several times but I still cannot open it on my computer.  When plugging in my ipod shuffle it does not automatically load either although my computer says it's working correctly.

Click on the "Start" button. Click "Run." Type the word "cmd" in the open box. When the DOS screen comes up, type "netsh winsock reset." Press "Enter." Type "exit" to close the DOS window and go back to Windows.

  • HT1926 Can't install or uninstall the latest version of iTunes

Everytime I go to install the latest version of iTunes I get through most of it, then a window comes up that says "Windows Installer" - "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable." - "Click OK to try again, or enter an alternative path to a folder containing the installation package 'iTunes64.msi' in the box below."
In the drop down dox below the previously stated there are two options:
         1) C:\Users\"Username"\AppData\Local\Apple\Apple Software Update\
         2) C:\ProgramData\Apple Computer\Installer Cache\iTunes 10.5.0.142\
Neither of them work and I get the message: "The path 'C:\ProgramData\Apple Computer\Installer Cache\iTunes 10.5.0.142\iTunes64.msi' cannot be found. Verify that you have access to this location and try again, or try to find the installation package 'iTunes64.msi' in a folder from which you can install the product iTunes."
There is an option to Browse for the porgram but I can never find what it needs. Even when I attempt to uninstall iTunes I receive the same messages as above. • Help! I can't install or uninstall Adobe Reader.

I accidentally deleted part of Adobe Reader 8.1.2. Now, I can't read PDF documents. I tried to install Reader 9 but I kept getting a message box that says, "The feature you are using is on a network resource that is unavailable." It also gives me the option to try again or change the directory, neither of which solves the problem.
I then went to the Control Panel and tried to have the Add or Remove Programs application remove Reader 8.1.2 but the exact same window came up. It supposedly has something to do with the fact that there is no installation path for Reader 8.1.2. How do I get rid of Reader 8.1.2 and then subsequently install reader 9?

I downloaded Reader 9 not long ago, and have been having problems similar to those other people have posted. I thought the problem had to do with two expired free trials (Acrobat and Photoshop), because when I would attempt to open a document, the registration page of Acrobat would appear, then vanish along with the document! I figured the problem would go away if I uninstalled the expired free trials. Not at all! Now, when I try to read PDFs on line, I get an error message saying "unknown file type," and I'm redirected to Microsoft's page for information about Adobe Reader...which is supposedly already on my computer. Did I accidentally delete some essential element when I got rid of the remnants of Acrobat and Photoshop?
Yikes! I wish I understood more about computers!
