Unable to install Oracle Migration Assistant for Access

I download Oracle Migration Assistant for Microsoft Access from
the web but I can't install it on windows NT. Oracle Installer
want a file nt.prd but I have a file product.jar. What is the
solution?

I have the same problem, but I'm using oracle 8.0.5 client on NT
and don't have the Universal Installer just the regular
Installer.
So the installer don't recognize the products.jar file.
Is it possible to download the Universal installer ?
What's the solution ?

Microsoft SQL Server Migration Assistant for Access issues

If this is not the correct forum my apologies.
I have used the assistant on Windows 7, 32bit and all worked as expected. Now I am on a Windows 7, 64bit machine, ran the assistant against a MS-Access 2007 database (same database used on the 32bit machine) and get the following (which I have seen searching
the web) where there are tables as shown in the second image and when attempting to upsize I get "Nothing to Process" which makes sense since there are not tables listed.
So my question is, any idea what might cause the assistant to not see the tables?
Environment
Windows 7 Home edition, SQL-Server 2012
Tables in the MS-Access database

It is free for customers with database support contracts. The DMU is built on the same GUI platform as SQL Developer and JDeveloper. It uses dedicated RDBMS functionality to scan and convert a database to AL32UTF8 (or to the deprecated UTF8, if needed for some reasons). About the performance topic - well, you've to figure out what the database is waiting for.
Activate time measurement, activate the DBanalyzer with a short snapshot interval (say 120 or 60 seconds) and check what warnings you get.
Also you should use the parameter check to make sure that you don't run into any setup-induced bottlenecks.
Apart from these very basic prerequisites for the analysis of this issue, you may want to check
SAP Note 1464560 FAQ: R3load on MaxDB
Maybe you can use some of the performance features available in the current R3load versions.

Unable to install Oracle 9.0.1 on Linux RedHat

Hi,
I am unable to install Oracle 9.0.1 on Linux RedHat, tried many times. While installing i get following errors-

There are many versions of RedHat. Your post indicates you are using one of them, but your post really does not give a hint as to which one. Funny thing is - different versions have different install requirements.
I really don't understand why operating system version is such a big secret. Especially since it is logically so critical to installation issue. Even when installing on Windows, the first questions is 'which Windows'.
You have, of course, followed the suggestions at http://www.puschitz.com and noted the errors and workarounds, have you not.
Especially about things like packages and versions.

Unable to install Oracle Developer Suite 10 on SuSe Linux 11.0

I have installed Oracle 11g on SuSe Linux 11.0 with no issues. I am unable to install Oracle Developer Suite10.12.02 on same (SuSe 11.0). The installation gets to about 94% and then fails with the following error:

The only serious flaw I can see in the config is that I'm using libstd++ 4.3 instead of the requested 3.2.2 which 'should' be acceptable as it's a newer version - can anyone help please? Thanks in advance for any helpful advice anyone can offer.

In my opinion migration assistant for migration 902 AS to 10 gAS will be very good...
For Oracle database , migration is possible.
But For Oracle AS only option is upgrade.

SQL Server 2012 setup program won’t allow you to perform a downgrade from SQL Server 2014 Express Edition. Backup/Restore
and Detach/Attach won’t help you either.
One option you have left is using SQL Server Import/Export Wizard as explained on the following article.

In my office, I have to installed Oracle Database 10g for Solaries (SPARC). But I have to do it without DISPLAY Monitor.Is it possible install it by remote login to this server using response file (silent mode) or something like that?

Remote Software Installation Steps: (For Solaris only)
If you want to install Oracle Software remotely, you should perform the following steps. These steps are applicable only if your source and target machine are running Unix.
For example, you can install Oracle Software from your home from Washington, DC to a target source in California.
1. Pick your source server or machine for remote installation.
2. Check that your CD is in your source CD-ROM drive.
3. On the target machine, find your target machine name with the output of the /usr/bin/hostname
4. On the source machine, login as a user.
5. On the source machine, enable client access: % /usr/openwin/bin/xhost + target-machine-name
6. Become root user by typing: su (dont use -)
7. Check that Volume Manger is running. # ps ef |grep vold (if you see an entry that contains /usr/sbin/vold, Volume Manager is running. Then skip to Step 10.
8. If not then do the following: # mkdir p /cdrom/your-cd-file-name
9. # mount F hsfs r cdrom-device /cdrom/your-cd-file-name

HT4796 I keep trying to install the migration assistant from pc to mac and the software will not install. It continues to get interrupted.

I am unable to install a software driver for a Canon film scanner FS4000US. I have downloaded it from Canon then open the package click the install and it asks for a location namely the Applications folder. Then it says it has been installed re -start etc, but still no driver.
I am using Mac OS 10.6. Any suggestions greatly received. I have repaired/disk and permissions and it still does not work.
