Unable to install PSE13 and PE13 purchased via Amazon. [was: Installation]

I have a PC. I just ordered and downloaded the Adobe Photoshop & Premiere Elements 13 off of Amazon.com. It went through the downloading process and then asked me to press the install button. I pressed it. All that downloaded to my computer was a link to the product keys. There is no link to open the actual program.

    Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps BEFORE doing the reset.
    You might also try signing out of itunes and back in (Settings App > itunes & App Store)

    If you are trying to update your iPhone over-the-air rather than through iTunes, and you are having issues with installing it, then I'd like you to please follow the steps outlined below.
    If you get a message that "an error occurred downloading iOS," try again later. If the issue persists, try updating your device in another network or use iTunes to update your device. Learn more about iOS updates.
    Update does not complete
    If you're installing the update and the progress bar appears to move slowly, be patient. The time an update takes depends on the size of the update and the number of files on the device.
    When you're updating over the air, keep your device connected to a power source so that it doesn't run out of power. If your device does run out of power, connect it to a power source and turn on the device to let the update or restore complete.
    If the update never completes and the progress bar hasn't moved for an extended time, try restarting your device. If you still see the issue after you restart, see what to do if your device appears frozen or won't start.

    So when I heard about the new Maemo update for my N900 I was excited! So I tried to do a install through the app manager and received the Unable to install not enough free space or whatever the error was. So I too the following steps to "free space" space which I had plenty of.... The following is a list of applications that I had installed:
    maemo geolocation plugin for the micro b browser
    dial central
    duke3d cd version
    worldtv99
    petrovich
    numptyphysics
    duke 3d timidity
    prboom
    mplayer
    angry birds
    kmplayer
    cbrpager
    firefox and mozilla runtime...
    stratagus
    I uninstalled all of these applications except for stratagus.... and these applications :
    Sorry I re-installed K-player before I tried cpitchford's solution
    Still received the same error so I tried what I found in this link: Free Up RootFS
    I tried the following from that link :
    Use apt cache outside of rootfs
    it produced a error message that told me to run
     "apt-get -f install"  or something like that which installed the firmware but it gave me some error I was like w/e .... restarted my N900 and received a Nokia Loading screen and then it did the normal loading start-up
    Check my Firmware and was like WIN!
    But there was a problem lingering txt messages I recieved the following error:
    I was like RAGE!!!!!!

    After I followed cpitchford's instructions I was like **bleep**?!? All my txt history was gone I was like RAGE!!!!! Again...
    I still received that error, so I was like **bleep**?!
    So I un-installed stratagus.... Rebooted my N900 That seemed to fix my problem. But **bleep**?!?
    My text message history was still gone?!? What to do What to do....!
    I backed up  my data via Nokia's backup tool!
    So I restored the following:
    Communication and Calandar
      Rebooted my N900 and that seemed to fix it.
    Other useful information:
    I have a micro sd card in my n900 it was needed for stratagus
    jabber for facebook was configured and used
    gtalk
    Well that's pretty much it the thing I'm looking for is **bleep** happened and what simple steps can I do to prevent this from happening, or what applications do I need to uninstall next time instead of that long laundry list I produced?
    Also cpitchford after I ran your commands is there a way to restore those messages or view them?

    go into your app manager:
    app manager/menu/application catalogs/(go into each catalog and "disable" them all except for Nokia Applications & Nokia System softwrae updates)
    this will open enough space for you to do the update.
    if you still get an update, then you probably have a corrupt file.  but i am 90%+ sure that this will allow you to do the update.

  • Unable to install IOS4 - and now unable to restore settings

    Hope someone can help
    I downloaded the new IOS4 software last night, and as it was about half way through installing the software it stopped. The blue bar just stayed where it was and on the phone itself it, I had the white apple logo and the bar indicating it was installing.
    I left it on all night, but, still no further progress. I had to disconnect the phone from itunes, then do a force quit. It asked me to reconnect to itunes, which I did, then when it was trying to restore factory settings - the same thing happened - when the blue bar was half way a long it stopped.
    Any ideas whats wrong and how can I fix it?
    (I have the 3gs and an iMac with Snow Leopard and it was the latest itunes.)

    I have fixed mi situation... Apparently it's not the .ipsw file or the iphone itself, but the iTunes installed on my computer.. I got up and went to another Mac here in the office, updated the iTunes on that Mac, copied the .ipsw file from my Mac to user/library/itunes/iPhone Software Updates (if you don't see the folder on the other mac copy the folder too) and then started the process of upgrading my iPhone... It was painless and right away. Afterwards I synced the iPhone with my Mac and iTunes and got my apps into my 3GS with iOS4! Good Luck.
    P. S.: That other Mac has 10.5.x installed, mine has 10.6.4

    I have installed original windows7 home premium in my lenovo N100 series 0768-54A model y'day. Though every thing went well, the AC97 audio driver could not be installed. Can any one provide me a solution to make the audio working in Windows7 Home Premium.
    Similarly after new installation, I could not install rescue and recovery version 4.3 (windows7 compatible) in to the system, every attempt failed. Could any one provide a solution.

    I am not sure which audio chipset your N100 has, so
    Try this for sound:
    Go to THIS web page.
    Download Soundmax audio driver for Vista.
    Extract the files by double clicking, and note where they
    are being extracted to.
    Uninstall any sound driver you have installed, reboot.
    If windows says New Hardware Found, click cancel.
    Go to folder where downloaded drivers were extracted,
    and run Setup.
    If Soudmax drivers do not work, uninstall and repeat
    with the Realtek audio drivers.
    I do not think Rescue/Recovery will work except for
    the originally installed OS.

    I bought x220 tablet here in Germany, so I received windows 7 professional in German language. 
    I wanted to use English version of windows so I installed English version of windows hence lost all lenovo default settings. Now I am trying to install rescue and recovery 4.50 and it is not working with the msg " make sure that .tvt data is in correct installation pack folder" I translated this msg from German to Englich
    Before installing Rescue and Recovery 4.50 I also installed  
    Microsoft Visual c++ 2005 SP1 Redisributable Package (x64)    and
    Sysprepbackup Acessory Package  which was mentioned in Lenovo support. 
    If someone has already solved such problem, I would be glad to know the answer.

    It seems like R&R is missing the necessary language file(s), so I recommend downloading and installing the package that includes support for all languages:  http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/pccbbs/thinkvantage_en/z936_setup_rnr450_025c.exe
    Even on English version of Windows, if you are using German language support like you are, R&R will need the German language installation files.

  • After installing Trend Macro antivirus, I was unable to install any plugins. I get an "Unexpected Installation Error" message at the end of the installation. Closing the anti-virus does not help.

    I have purchased Trend Micro Titanium Maximum Security and am now unable to install any plugins. I have had these plugins before and had no trouble with them but now they have disappeared. I tried closing the antivirus and added mozilla.org to the exceptions list but it did not help.
    I have copied the text of the error.

    Try using a newer version.

  • Unable to find CS6 serial number purchased via school website. [was: upsetting..]

    So, i've been a Cs6 user for about 2 years now purchased the software through my school website that goes through adobe. Everything went great... until just recently my computer was at it's worst and i unfortunately had to reset it to factory settings deleting my cs6 software and i thought i could just come and redownload it through my profile, but ironically they cannot find any records of my purchase and with my computer being cleared i do not have proof of purchase, and i watched horrified as the massive amounts of money to buy the programs goes down the toilet. I am in school, work 2 jobs to pay for my future wedding upcoming in january, expecting a baby in november, and in the process of purchasing a house. my school and work focus on my cs6 use and without it i'm at a strong disadvantage. So i do not have the money to pay for a new software and i'm definately not going to pay for monthly services for something i have already bought for ALOT of money already. I strongly suggest you either pay for the disc copy, or print your proof of purchase because as i had to learn the hard way you CANNOT trust this company to back you up with support after your software has been misplaced on your computer, and until they can find my purchase or assist my problem i will not be using their services as will my friends and family.

    Adobe will support you if they can find evidence that you've purchased the software. If they can't, they're at a bit of a disadvantage themselves.
    You can always re-download the software from Download CS6 products
    However, that will install as a 30 day time limited trial version. You'll need to enter your CS6 serial number to license it again on your computer.
    The serial number is what you need to find (then store safely  for future reference).

    Have you tried going back through where you bought the software? You would have registered the software when you first bought it.

  • Poweredge R730XD - unable to install Windows Server 2012 standard via DVD - limit progress via USB

    Hi all,
    hoping someone has encountered and sorted this problem.  I've had troubles installing W2012 on our newest batch of server - 4x R730XDs.  Either by deployment or booting directly by DVD I encounter the following message:
    "windows failed to start.  A recent hardware or software change might be the cause"
    So I wrote the iso for Windows to USB and booted off that which yielded this message:
    "We couldn’t create a new partition or locate an existing one. For more information, see the Setup log files."
    A colleague recognised the message and directed me these instructions:
    Start DISKPART.
    TypeLIST DISK and identify your SSD disk number (from 0 to n disks).
    Type SELECT DISK whatever disk number you have.
    Type CLEAN.
    Type CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY.
    Type ACTIVE.
    Type FORMAT FS=NTFS QUICK.
    Type ASSIGN.
    Type EXIT twice (one to get out of DiskPart, the other to exit the command line tool).
    It didn't work - the next and final message I have is:
    "An Operating System wasn't found.  Try disconnecting any drives that don't contain an operating system"
    As a last resort measure I pulled those disks out but no change to outcome.
    I've encountered these issues with 3 out 4 of the servers (I haven't bothered to install the 4th and last).
    To summarise the spec of the servers, R730XD - front drives fully populated with 24x 600GB SAS (currently not setup in an array) with additional 2x 300GB in a flex bay at the rear set to RAID1 for OS.
    Any suggestions or experiences appreciated.

    Hi all,
    an update of sorts - we were able to progress futher by setting up a the RAID array for the boot drive inside of the Lifecycle controller (that aspect of LC I have avoided using for a few years due to lack of flexibility in creating multiple arrays).  Windows then installed as normal via deployment on 2 of 3 servers.  the third still exhibits the same issue.  We thought to perform a factory reset, if there such a thing, but am struggling to find such an option in the LC.
