Unable to install updates in Photoshop CS6

Hi,
Since I installed Photoshop CS6 on my Mac OS 10.8, I haven't been able to successfully install an update. Every time I get the error U44M1P6, which tells me to try installing the update manually. Which I do, and I get the same result.
I have been asked if I've changed anything in Photoshop's folder or something similar, and I haven't done anything to it besides installing one extension using Extension Manager, and keeping Photoshop's icon on my dock.
When I get this error, the only solution is to uninstall and re-install Photoshop, which makes me lose all my brushes, preferences, etc. In short, it's a pain.
Do any of you know what's wrong with my Photoshop, and how to fix it?

Can't install Updates to Photoshop CS6

I have tried everything to install updates that I can think of, but still have had no success. The option to check for updates in Photoshop 6 is grayed out(I am running Windows 7 on a relatively new machine). I tried downloading the update and installing manually via the AdobePatchInstaller, but it fails also and I get the window which is shown below. I have tried reinstalling Photoshop CS6. That doesn't work either. I have turned off the virus checker(McAfee). I am the only user on this machine(full administrator privileges) and have no trouble with the Lightroom installations or any other updates from other programs. It seems to be something with the Adobe Application Manager and CS6. What could cause the update to be grayed out in the help menu of CS6 ?? It seems someone at Adobe would know. I would greatly appreciate any help in remedying this as I am getting a new camera and at the least would like to be able to upgrade camera raw, but the updates to CS6 would be nice too. Any thoughts on other things that I can try ..

Can you delete the below files from your computer and then check.
C:\Program files\common files\adobe\AAMUpdaterInventory\1.0\AdobeUpdaterAdminPrefs.dat
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Adobe\AAMUpdater\1.0\AdobeUpdaterPrefs.dat
These are the files which are being created/ used by the Administrators to disable the Auto-update for Adobe Applications.
Note :- The first file is the Adobe Application Manager Preference file which will be re-created, next time when you will update the Adobe Softwares.

Trouble installing updates on Photoshop cs6

Attempting to update PS CS6 on new system and I keep getting this error message.
Adobe Photoshop update 13.0.1.3 Error Code: U44M1I210
Has anyone else experienced this and have a fix ?
System is WIN 7 x 64 PRO

Can't Install Updates in Photoshop CS6

I'm tyring to update Camera Raw because the RAW files for my new camera are not supported with the version I have, but every time I go to Help > Updates... I get an error message saying, "You are already running the Adobe Application Manager. Please close all instances of Adobe Application Manager before applying updates." The thing is, I am not running the Adobe Application manager. I closed every window on my Mac and restarted my computer, but I still get the error. Please help.

What version of mac os x are you using?
If you go to Utilities>Activity Monitor.app and View>All Processes do you see Adobe Application Manager listed?

Tasc_redleader which update exactly are you trying to apply? Your screen shot indicates an update to Photoshop CS6 but your installation log appears to be for Extension Manager CS6.

The update for Photoshop CS6 Creative Cloud (64bit) downloads but failsto extractand install

The Adobe Application Manager reports an update for Photoshop CS6 Extended but when I tell it to update, it goes through a download and reports "Unable to extract downloaded files. Press retryto download again. U44M11210"

I am trying to open a video to edit in CS6 and I get this error: Could not complete your request because DynamicLink is not available
I read on one of these formus that I should uninstall and reinstall the program or update my photoshop cs6
I tried to update and it told me to use the Adobe Application Manager, which in turn gave an error and told me to use the Adobe
Support Advisor, which didnt work
I tried to uninstall the program and it told me to use the Adobe Application Manager.
Adobe Application Manager failed and it told me to download the Adobe Support Advisor.
Adobe Support Advisor told me that there was an issue:" cpsid_82829s1: "A restart is pending," bootstrapper error has occurred. "Token Number: 40-87772-063201122012
I followed the instructions it gave me to correct this issue:
If you receive the error "Installer has detected that a machine restart is pending. It is recommended that you quit the installer, restart try again," do the following:

# If the installation fails, delete the InProgress registry key:

Failed installation: How to rerun Adobe Application Manager updates for Photoshop CS6

Hi.
The installation of Adobe Extension Manager CS6 failed - while 2 others update for Photoshop CS6 did intall. I was installing Adobe Reader X .
That's why I discovered the notication from the application manager about updates for CS6 - and I just confirmed that as well.
Apparently the Reader installation blocked only the update installation of Adobe Extension Manager CS6 - saying another installation process was running ... such stuff happens sometimes.
However, it seems Adobes Application Manager update module does not track its failed installations? It does not automatically advertise that update has not been installed and notifiying me again to install it. At least not immediately ...
So how do I rerun the Adobe Application Manager update moduel to check for updates manually?

Thank you. I read the steps and looked at the log and this is the key error:
ERROR: DF045: File corruption detected. Re-install the product & then apply the patch again.
To re-install the product do I first uninstall using the Windows facility?
Do I need to re-install from the original product disk? If not then where will I find a link to download the product and re-install? (I can only find links to CC).

How do I save an install file for Photoshop CS6

I need to get an install file for Photoshop CS6 (not CR) that I can use on a Windows PC that, due to security reasons, does
not have access to the internet. In the past I have been able to save the install file for Photoshop and/or Lightroom on my internet connected PC and then move it to the the target PC on a thumb drive or CD. But now with the CC and the new "Adobe Installer" I can't seem to see how to capture the install file.
Please let me know how to do this.
