Unable to install via downloaded HP Webpack gc_w01_enu_nb.exe for HP PSC 1315

I have a HP PSC all-in-one 1315 that I want to install on my new netbook running on Windows XP. As the netbook has no DVD drive I downloaded the full feature software and driver pack.
When I double clicked it the files were extracted but the install page (as shown on the online support video) does not show up. What do I need to do now to install the software?

Yes, there are downloads available. You should check you Adobe account online as there might be links provided there. Your serial numbers will be needed for activation, and they might also be found there.

Since you lost the installation(s) without deactivating them first you probably should contact Adobe Support thru chat and ask them to reset your activations so that you have the two available to you in case you want to have a backup installation on another machine. Unable to install VIA 4in1

Hey everyone, I just purchased a 2nd hand mainboard (MSI KT3 Ultra Series, MS-6380E v1.X) but unfortunately I cannot install the chipset drivers from the cd as I do not have the series number required. So I downloaded the 4 in 1 VIA download from MSI's website. I went to install it but an error occured saying "16 bit windows subsystem. C:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and microsoft windows applications. Choose 'close' to terminate the application" Any help with this problem will be much appreciated. Unable to install software/Admin or higher permissions required for install

Suddenly, I am unable to install software—I get a dialogue box that tells me I must have Administrator or higher permissions to do the install. I am attempting to do this from the Administrator account, and I even created a new one to see if that would work, all to no avail. Any tips, ideas, suggestions to resolve this problem? Could be many things, we should start with this...
"Try Disk Utility
1. Insert the Mac OS X Tiger Install disc that came with your computer, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
*Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.*
3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Click the disclosure triangle to the left of the hard drive icon to display the names of your hard disk volumes and partitions.
5. Select your Mac OS X volume.
6. Click Repair. Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)

I am able to get '.SAR' file and 'IGS installation guide', however i could not find '.exe' file for installation.

Find SAR archiver sofware on SAP Service Marketplace. SAR is just kind of archive file.

Unable to install the downloaded camera raw for PSE10 on Mac

At first, I wasn't able to open .nef files from my Nikon D800E. I then realized that I needed to update my camera raw installers. The available versions were 6.5, 6.6, and 6.7 from the adobe website. I also downloaded the Adobe App Manager as it was required to install the updates. The downloading process for all 3 versions worked fine. However, when I tried to install using the adobepatchinstaller, it didn't work. And I tried on all version individually. They all gave me the same message: not the right patch.
What else can I do as it is frustrating not being able to open those raw files...

On my PSE10 Help tab, there's no "updates" option on the drop down. I have to go to PSE10 help website to download it. I downloaded the ACR6.7 for Mac, but failed to install it, giving me a message "patch is not applicable." I bought my PSE10 from the Appstore, btw.
What other things I should try?

Elements 12 crashes in organizer every use. Not unique to 12 an on going problem from 9 forward. This is a new install via download, win7 64 bit.

A long time elements user from the original. Crash problems have escalated since elements 9 to be beyond annoying. Reading Adobes' own forums, it is apparent I am not alone, also apparent Adobe cannot fix the problem. Most disappointing. A new download, from Adobe, crashed on 1st attempted opening of organizer; nor could the organizer see my card reader, once operational. Other programs experience no such problems. This post is more a frustration vent, than an expectation of solution.
Thought I would give Adobe a 2nd effort to rectify/explain. Initiated an on line chat with service rep. Wasted 20 minutes with babble accomplishing nothing. Was transferred to a tech rep. they asked same questions, and while I was typing in details, they severed the connection. I wish anyone considering a purchase of any Elements version the best of luck .Elements woes have for me been spread across 2 new computers and 3 versions of the program. There will not be another.

What to say my friend? In my opinion the best advice you can get from Corel and Adobe. They have best experience with own product and have probably tested them on different hardware platforms.
Notebook manufacturers offer different notebook models with different hardware configurations. Some of them are cheap and offered with average hardware. The performance is not the best but good enough for every day activities like internet, office, mailing and so on.
On other hand there are notebooks with excellent and powerful hardware. Very often such notebooks cost twice as much as cheap low budget products.
Please dont understand me wrong but your C notebook is not the best one for usage with such powerful software.
I really dont know what Toshiba can do about it. I can imagine that you need other graphic driver but graphic driver support for mobile computers is pretty limited and I dont think you can do much about that.
What you can try is to download and install driver from graphic card manufacturer but you must do this on your own risk.
Sorry friend but I dont have any other advice for you. I just think youve bought wrong notebook for such complex graphic operations. 2 GB RAM? I dont know.

Unable to Install via Firewire Target Disk Mode

I'm having problems with installing Leopard 10.5 via Target Disk Mode. The 2 Macs I am using are a eMac 1.0GHz with 1GB RAM Running OS X 10.4.11 and a PowerMac QuickSilver 933MHz 896MB RAM Running OS X Server 10.4.11.
The eMac's Combo Drive has gone south and won't read DVDs so I am putting the install DVD into the QuickSilver. If I start the QuickSilver in Target Mode I only see the QuickSilver's harddrive on the eMac and can't access the install DVD. If I put the eMac in Target Mode and boot up the QuickSilver using the Install DVD after I get through the language selection it says the QuickSilver isn't capable of installing it.
Any suggestions would be helpful.

Then, you're out of luck if the QS can't run Leopard. My G4 does. You might look at

to see how you can work around it. Alternatively, use another machine or ext burner to boot the eMac with the DVD. With the QS in TDM, only the master disk is available.

Unable to install Adobe Download Assistant due to the installer being mis-configured

Download Assistant offers the upgrade from 1.0.6 to 1.2.5, so I "download now" but it won't install because "This application cannot be installed because this installer has been mis-configured. Please contact the application author for assistance." I have repeated the process and get the same response every time. And I cannot run my InCopy CS6 without this.

New PC lost origional install disk and unable to install using download

I got a new PC and have lost my install disk forr my Tunston T2. I tried to install using the download of version 4.1.4 from the website but no luck. When I try to open the program I get an error message "Palm Desktop Application has encurred a problem and needs to close".
I tried it without the device connected and with it connected and get the same error.
My PC has an Intel Core2 Quad CPU Q9400 @ 266GHZ with a 500G drive. I am running Windows XP Pro.
Does anyone have a clue how I can get it up and running?

Sounds like your data crashing out palm desktop.
It's either your calendar or contacts causing the issue.
Steps to fix
1. Navigate to C:/program files/palm/Hotsync ID
2. In that folder locate another folder called datebook
3. Remove datebook.dat file from there and place on desktop
4. Go to folder called Address
5. Remove address.dat file from there and place on desktop
6. Attempt to open palm desktop
IF it opens continue
7. Go to tools/options and change the start up application from datebook to memos
8. Navigate to C:/program files/palm/Hotsync ID
9. In that folder locate another folder called datebook
10. Grab the datebook.dat file off of the desktop and place in the folder
11. Choose to overwrite the file
12. Go to folder called Address
13. Grab the address.dat file off of the desktop and place in the folder
14. Choose to overwrite the file
15. Relaunch palm desktop
16. Go to tools/options/tools
17. Select fix corrupted records.
18. Close palm desktop re open
Everything should work fine. If you want you can then change the start up application back to datebook.

How to upgrade firefox in Ubuntu 10.04? Upgrade button is not present and unable to install the downloaded latest version.

We have around 250 desktops where we have installed Linux Ubuntu 10.04, now the problem is that the Mozilla Firefox version in Ubuntu is 3.6 and the application we are using does not work correctly unless the firefox version is higher then 5.0, I have tried many times to upgrade the version but failed. Can install, cannot download iTunes 11.1 (manadatory for iOS 7).

Apple update tells me that there is an error. It says that I can "download only and manually install." I was able to download iTunes 11.1, but cannot install. My error number is 2324. It says it "may indicate a problem with this package." Any ideas??

i can download the 8.1.1 intaller but when i install a msg pops up which reads
