Unable to keep btvision off and high speed searchi...

Am hoping someone can help please, our btvision box wont stay off apart from at the plug. Also when it is on it flicks through all the channels when on the tv guide page, this happens as well when on the btvision page. So it is impossible to watch anything. Ive tried changifng battries in remote, rebooting box, unplugging, and nrothing is working, this has been like it for the past 2 days, please help! Thank you.

I had exactly the same problem when I received a new black box. It would work for a time and then would do the scrolling channels/menu's thing. I reported it to BT Vision on 0800 1114567 (I think) The service wasn't brilliant, but they eventually sent an engineer out who installed a new box which has worked perfectly ever since. I'm guessing they will have had some more with the same fault by now, so it should be easier to report.

It looks like your NVIDIA graphic is damaged. If you need your computer now, you can fix the computer downloading gfxCardStatus and selecting the option to use only the integrated graphic, so that kernel panic won't appear anymore. Note that you won't be able to use the NVIDIA graphic, so the graphic performance may be worse than with this graphic.
Of course, that's a temporary fix, because you should take the computer to an Apple Store as soon as possible to get the Mac repaired. As the NVIDIA graphic is not soldered, the repair won't be expensive

That it is still working is miraclous.. most have died.. lots started flaking out at 18months to 2years..

FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY.

I have checked for problems with the connections, but from what i can see with the naked eye, nothing appears abnormal. It is very strange, and very sudden. It just stopped in the middle of a charge. The apple store is my next step. I just wanted to see if anyone on here had some extremely eye-opening solution or check. thanks though!

Digital start trigger and high speed camera

Is there any particular option or way available in LabVIEW to initiate the data acquisition and high speed camera using a digital start trigger? If yes, shall I create a task for high speed camera and then synchronize it with the other tasks?

The way to trigger data acquisition in LabVIEW is to use the 'DAQmx Start Trigger VI'. To set this up I recommend taking a look at this example:

Without any information about the high speed camera you are using, I can't give much advice. If the device is viewable in MAX then you may be able to create a task, and so long as you synchronise both channels in your code, the digital trigger should activate both events.

My iphone 3G Backlight keeps turning off and on every 15 - 20 seconds.

My iphone 3G keeps turning off and on (only backlight) every 15 - 20 seconds when in sleep mode. When I say turning on and off, it is not switch on-off, it is only back light that gets turn on and off. This is causing the battery to exhaust quickly.

First, try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button until the Apple logo comes back again.
If the problem persits, set it up "as new device". If this does not work, do it again, this time not using the backup after the new set up.
If still no luck, get it serviced or visit your nearest Apple Store.
