Unable to launch the APex 4.0

Question

Hi ,
While Installing i didnt get even a single error .
I already had the Oracle XE and default apex 3.2 intsalled with it .
Now i have moved from 10g to 11g , so i uninstalled the old apex using
@apxremov.sql script
Later i installed APEX 4.0 on 11g
The steps which i followed are as follow :-
1) connect sys as sysdba
2) @apexins SYSAUX SYSAUX TEMP /i/
3) @apxldimg.sql E:/apex_home
4)@apxchpwd
/* i checked here using http://127.0.0.1:8080/pls/apex/apex , but page was not yet displayed , by using few formus i ran few more scripts as they were mentioned in it . */
5)@apxconf.sql
PORT
8080
Request to change admin password.
6) ALTER USER ANONUYMOUS ACCOUNT UNLOCK
7) EXEC DBMS_XDB.SETHTTPORT(0);
8)EXEC DBMS_XDB.SETHTTPPORT(8080);
9)@apexxepwd
I really just dont know about the installations and all but i always follow the top 4 steps to install apex on my system .
As in10g we get Goto Db homoe page option , its quite easy to launch the application Express.
But where as in the 11g there is no such ....
And even when i m trying to use http://127.0.01:8080/pls/apex/apex_admin
or anything i m getting
PAGE NOT FOUND ERROR 404...

Hi,
you could try to submit a commit after (re)enabling the http-server with
EXEC DBMS_XDB.SETHTTPPORT(8080);
COMMIT;But keep in mind that only one of your two instances may serve that port at the same time, i.e., you can't have both XE and 11g up and running on the same port. If you want to run both APEX versions simultaneously, you can change the port for one of the instances by using a different value, e.g.
EXEC DBMS_XDB.SETHTTPPORT(8081);
COMMIT;You should even be able to call apex with just one /apex in your URL, like "http://127.0.0.1:8080/apex" or (to call the internal admin) "/apex/apex_admin".
