Unable to Link a Notification to an Order

Hi Experts,
I am trying to create an order linked to a notification and can able to do it too.
But when i go to IW32 (Order Details ) i cannot see the Notification assigned to Order at header level..
When i go to IW33(Order Details) i cannot see the notification, instead notification field is found to be blank.
Although i can see the notification linked in Object tab, but for reporting purpose i want the notification on header level.
I am using BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN for order creation. Passing all the values from SAP-MII. (integration with ECC)

Hi
It seems that you are creating both notification and order as part of your enhancement. Because, if you make the settings for automatic creation of the notification, which will use the standard functionality, when you save the work order, notification will be created automatically and attached to the work order header.
The setting is called "Define Notification and Order Integration"
You must link the order with the notification type and select "Maintain Indicator for Notification Data on Order Header" box.

Check if your workflow attribute to which you are assigning value is of type URL or not. If not the it would only get displayed as text and not as a Hyperlink.

Unable to link layers in Photoshop CS

I have Photoshop CS. In the box showing the layers I've made, there is no longer a small checking box to the left of each enabling me to link a layer with others. If I hold the cursor over the looped "link" symbol at the bottom, an "unavailable" symbol appears. Does anyone know how I get the link boxes back please? Thanks David5119

Thank you. I didn't know I could select more than one layer by holding down the Ctrl key and that, when I do that, the link symbol appears. Don't know at what point the link check boxes disappeared as they were certainly there originally; maybe when I reinstalled Photoshop for some reason. But a big thank you - your advice worked. It sounds like you have an photoshop version cs2 or newer.
To link layers in photoshop cs2 and newer versions, the layers you want to link need to be selected first in the layers panel and then press the link icon at the bottom of the layers panel.

Notification for Refurbishment order

HI ALL,
I would like to know whether we can create Notification for Refurbishment order. As per my understanding we can not create the Notification for Refurbishment order. But after reading the document given in URL I have confused.

Linking PM Notification to different SAP Objects from different SAP Components

Hi All,
I have a requirement to link notification to three follow on actions namely:
1.     Work order creation (IW31?)
2.     PPM to create project
3.     Change request to review document (CC31?)
These activities are actions required from Root Cause Analysis. RCA is being done by an external system. An interface is to be used to create a notification in SAP PM. The notification is to be configured with an Action Box containing these three activities as follow on actions.
Is this possible to achieve? And if so, what FM can be used for each of the three SAP Objects?
Will there be a link between the three created objects and the Notification?
Will it be possible to update the Notification with the statuses of any one of these three objects automatically?

Not sure this helps, but we managed to link a notification to multiple objects using a development in Services for Object.
You were then able to see these links as follows:

Link between Delivery and Sales Order Schedule Line

Hi Gurus,
I have a requirement in which i need to display quantity and amount at schedule line level and also the delivery and delivery item for each schedule line.
For example, if there is a sales order O1 and item 10 for which we have 3 schedule lines and 3 deliveries as well say D1, D2 and D3.
Report should be something like this
Sales Order    Item   Schedule Line    Delivery    Del Item   Confirmed Order Qty
O1                 10      1                       D1           10            5
O1                 10       2                      D2            10            5
O1                 10       3                      D3            10            4
How can i determine that a particular delivery corresponds to which schedule line of that saler order-item?
We have the link between delivery and sales order but is there any way that we can get the link of delivery at schedule line level?

I suppose you must check with SD functional consultant and the post should also be in the logistics SD forum and not BI. But I suppose there is know specific link between the schedule line of SO to the Delivery. It is more like a bucket flow for ex.
Sale order   Item    Schedule line qty
SO1            Item1     Sch1            10
SO2            Item1      Sch2           10
Delivery Item QTy
DO1       IT1   15
DO2       IT1    5
In this case qty 15 is distributed over both SO1 and SO2, and SO2 ITem1 Sch2 has link to both the DOs
So I am not sure if you can establish a one to one link, please check with your SD consultants.

Link between Delivery Header & Sales Order Item for extraction to 2nd level

I am having a requirement that need to pull the following data to 2nd level DSO
1. Delivery Header Data
2. Sales Order Item data. ( Sales Document, Item, Item RDD, Material)
So I am planning create a 2nd level DSO on top of Delivery header and need to pull the sales order ITEM level data ( Sales document , Order ITEM, ITEM RDD date , Material) through start routine u2026
How can I pull the Sales Order Item data through start routine? i.e I need the link between Delivery Header & Sales Order Item Data .
or I need the link between LIKP ( Delivery Header) Vs VBAP ( Sales Document Item).

Hi Krish,
You can use VBLEN (Sales Document) to link Delivery header DS (2LIS_12_VCHDR) and Delivery item DS (2LIS_12_VCITM). Now In delivery item DS (2LIS_12_VCITM) you have VGBEL (Reference doc.) and VGPOS (Reference item) which is nothing but sales order document number and sales item in Order item DS (2LIS_11_VAITM) .
So you need to link in above way to get other values in your DSO.
It is proven method.

Unable to link media to MTS files in Premiere CS6 after updating to 10.8.3

I am now unable to link media(MTS files) in Premiere pro CS6 after updating to 10.8.3. Instead of the folder where the MTS files where there is now "AVCHD" with the quicktime symbol. When I control click, it just offers me with the quick look option. Any advice would be very much appreciated.

LSMW for open notifications,open sales order & open service order

Hi Gurus,
Can anyone please tell me how to go about writing LSMW's for open notifications,open sales order & open service order.
This is for service processing in CS ,where has the scenario is
Create Notification (IW51) --> create Sales Order(Multiple Line Items) ( VA02) --> Create Service Order ( IW32)
Service order is automatically (Item Proposal) generated w.r.t Sales Order (multiple line items)
How to I do the recording for transactions in such a scenario.

Link of vendor in sales order through WBS element

My sales order line items are having WBS assigned.All these line items are direct bought out items from vendors and supplied to customer.
Please suggest me link of vendor in sales order through WBS element.
I want to use the same logic for billing split criteria for individual line items(hence for individual vendors) Presently my client is getting common invoice for all line items but they want separate invoice for each line items.

Link DMS document to Sales Order

Hello -
Currenlty, our Quality Department manually opens each applicable sales order and manually attaches a required document via the "Extras/Documents" path from within VA02 menu bar. It is extremely time consuming.
I want to know if it is possible to automatically attach a "linked document" to a sales order after it has been saved? I'd like to create/run a batch job that loops through these sales orders, and if applicable, attaches the "linked document". DMS is setup and working and the document that I need to attach is ready. I don't know where I need to put the record of this "link". I can see all of the "links" via CV03N (Object Links/Sales Document Item), but I don't know how they get there.
Any advice or link to documentation would be greatly appreciated.

I see that there is an objectlinks table which I assume is used to create the link between the document and VA02/VA03. The underlying structure for the objectlinks table is BAPI_DOC_DRAD. I'm not clear on what values I need to add to this table when calling the BAPI_DOCUMENT_CREATE2. FM.??
Any advice on how to fill stucture BAPI_DOC_DRAD?
Also, I don't want to create any documents. The document already exists. I just want to establish a link. Can I do that without creating a document that already exists?

Unable to link click box to Word document

I am using Captivate 2 to create a click box. On success the
click box should open a Word document in a new window. I have saved
the Word document in the same folder with my swf. After testing the
click box, I get an error message IE was unable to link to the Web
page you requested. The page might be temporarily unavailable.
What is weird that the Open URL or File on success works fine
if I set the Word document to open in the current window. This
option is not possible, because I do not want users leaving the
course. Am I doing something wrong? Please advise.

I'm facing this problem since Captivate 2
but I just skip the link file part....
But now i doing my personal portfolio
which got huge link pdf and mpeg link file...
so I've tried Captiv8r method
but after publish into .exe
when i click the clickbox
i will appear ERROR sign and won't open the link pdf file
I've followed all the steps:
1. From Captivate, click File > Create a MenuBuilder
project...
2. Choose the "Blank Project" type and click OK.
3. Click Options > Project Options...
4. Change the Width to 320 and the Height to 200 (These are
the minimum settings)
5. Click OK to dismiss the Project options.
6. Click Insert > Clickbox...
7. You should see a "New Clickbox" dialog. There should be an
empty field labeled "Link".
8. Type only your document file name into the Link field.
9. Place a check mark in the "Save file with project" check
box, and click OK to dismiss the dialog.
10. You may see a warning dialog where MenuBuilder is
quibbling about the document not being present. Don't let this fool
you. Just click NO to advise you don't wish to browse for the file.
11. At this point you should see a small object on your
MenuBuilder. It should say "Clickbox" and be positioned in the
middle of the project.
12. Drag the sizing handles until it totally covers the area.
It should totally cover the whole area.
13. Now click the Export toolbar button.
14. MenuBuilder will then prompt you to save the project. Go
ahead and give it a name to appease it and click the Save button.
15. Select "Flash Movie" from the Export Options dialog and
click Next >.
16. Type a file name, choose a location to store the movie,
make sure the "View project after export" option is NOT selected,
then click the Finish button.
17. Now you may close MenuBuilder. You are finished with it.
We go back to Captivate.
18. In Captivate, open the slide with the link you wish to
use to open the document. The goal here is to click Insert >
Animation... and suck in the .SWF you created using MenuBuilder.
19.Then position that over an image or something that will
clue your user to click it.

Oracle EBS drill link targets for EAM Work Order and Asset

Hi All - I am running Oracle EBS 12.1.3 and OBIEE 11g and I'm trying to link from OBIEE to EBS, but struggling to find the target functions / parameters to provide a direct URL link to EBS EAM Work Order and Asset. I have successfully linked to a Purchase Order View page, I would like to find the similar for EAM Asset and Work Order.
I can see some parameters in WorkOrderDetailsPGCO but can't seem to work out how to get to the page from a URL.
For reference MOS Note 555254.1 has some details, but not for EAM.
Has anyone provided users in any reporting system with a link to EAM Work Order or Asset page and if so how were the links generated?

I am giving this a bump as I really need some help with this. Is I run the SQL with TOAD or SQLPlus it seems to consistently runs fine, The problem seems to only be from APEX. I think it has do to with the non-persistent state.
