Unable to load Disk 2 of CD install of Solaris 10

My platform is a Sun Ultra 60 sparc system.
I find it very disappointing that the SUN downloads do not install. Three or four years ago, I had the same problem with Solaris 9. The first disk installed fine, but not the second disk. I finally gave up and ordered the SUN disks, which installed fine.
My CD's are all correct. I made three copies of these disks from an iso image--each shows the correct files when read from a MAC and a PC.
I am unable to install disk two.
Is there a way to load these disks onto one of my hard drives, so that I can install from one drive to another? Presently I have Solaris 9 installed on disk 1 and the first disk of Solaris 10 installed on disk 2.

The graphic drivers do not seem to be the problem. I removed the open source driver and installed catalyst, but the result is still the same; the game starts if sound is blocked by smplayer, but not otherwise. I installed "lib32-alsa-plugins", as recommended in the steam wiki-page. I also installed all dependencies as specified in the Game specific section:

The problem remains the same. I've also tried running it from within the game folder, but it results in a steam window saying that I need to assure that steam is running and a user logged in (the same result whether I have steam running or not):

I tried using native runtime, too, but in that case steam started, the game, however, did not start at all, no error or anything.
I'm using alsa as a sound system, could it be that steam and/or witcher 2 depends on pulseaudio?
EDIT: Forgot to mention that I of course have installed libcurl (i.e. the packages specified in the link above) and lib32-keyutils (The game doesn't seem to recognize this when started from the game directory...)

start the weblogic server with the command startWeblogic. And then start the SOA server from Admin console.This is the issue. For starting servers from console, you need to configure node manager. Start SOA servers from command line using command startManagedWeblogic (as mentioned in Quick Start Guide for BAM server).

1) That sounds like a strange translation. But basically, it wants to connect to Exchange and it's complaining.
2) You can attempt to go to Tools->Options->Personal and set Personal Information Manager to None, and in Lync Management Shell run set-csclientpolicy

There may be more, I've never tried to completely disable Exchange features from Lync.

Please take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. Test after each one. Back up all data before making any changes.
1. Make sure that the right volume is selected in the Startup Disk preference pane.
2. Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed to start up. If there's no change, reconnect them

4. Reset the PRAM.
5. Start up in safe mode, then restart as usual. If you can't start in safe mode—for instance, if FileVault is active—then triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

Host: Unable to load application configuration + wrong install version on download

i am using 64 bit windows 7 ... when unable to playing video, it redirects me to the adobe download pages to get flash player ... the page says i am about to download flashplayer for win7 64 bit, of 9MB approximately, but the file i get has name "install_flashplayer11x32_mssd_aih.exe" (NOTE THE NUMBER 32) and this file just wont install it ends with error message: HOST: Unable to load application configuration ...
By google i found also file install_flashplayer11x64_mssd_aih.exe (NOTE THE NUMBER 64) ... this file runs the install, i get the final screen saying "installation completed" but after clicking the "finish" button i get an error message saying "an error occured while sending a command to the program" ...
I am just getting mad ... its 3 days i am trying to figure aout this problem ...
i also tryed files as "install_flash_player_11_plugin.exe" , "install_flash_player_11_plugin.msi" , "install_flash_player_11_active_x.exe" and "install_flash_player_11_active_x.msi" ... those files actually proceeds with the install, but at the end, the videos are still not displaying ...

i must say its quite shameful one must get this torture to have movies playing on websites ... this cant happen at open source stuf, at least not for 3 days ...

CSA MC Install error: Unable to load patch information

When we try to install CSA MC 5.2.0.263 (and 5.2.0.203) on Windows Server 2003 Ent Ed (or R2) we receive error:
"Unable to load patch information into the database"
How to solve the given error?

Just a couple things to check. If running the CSA agent on the MC make sure its disabled during the upgrade
You have enough free space in the installation directory

Hi, I'm not sure if my question is for this forum, but maybe :)
I create very simple application in VS.NET using ODP.NET (see attachment) which just try to connect to oracle database. But when I install this project on different computer without Visual Studio (but Redistribute Package .NET Framework 1.1 is installed!!!) and with database Oracle 8.1.7 an error message occurred:
"Unable to load DLL(OraOps10.dll)"
How can I create some Install project in VS using ODP.NET that can run on other PC ???
How can I solve this problem with loading DLL???

Unable to install a Solaris OS in a Single disk slice

We are unable to install the Solaris-OS on a single slice disk.
We found that, only "Solaris 10 10/08 (U6)" release can support the single slice disk installation, prior release are not. Is it true ?

And try this then

Installing Reader on new MacBook Pro. Unable to load metafile.

Have a brand new MacBook Pro. Downloaded Acrobat Reader from Adobe web site, and tried to install. Getting an "Unable to Load Metafile" error.
Looked it up on Google, and didn't see any useful information.

Unable to access disk repair option on OSX Install CD

I tried to do a disk repair from the Install CD - I opened Disk Utility from the Installer menu, clicked on the Mac Harddrive in the left hand column and clicked on First Aid.
While the Repair Permissions was accessible, the Disk Repair option was greyed out.
I did not see any option to choose language during this process.
Can someone please help?

That IS the version for some iBook G4s anyway, not certain which one you have though. Did this come from Apple with those Disks?
I don't understand why the Language never showed, or why it "thinks" the Hard Drive is in use, which is what causes that grayed out thing.
Does it Verify from the DVD?
Do you have an Open Firmware Password set perchance?
Tough without the Install disc, but some things to try...
Does it boot to Single User Mode, CMD+s keys at bootup, if so try...
/sbin/fsck -fy
Repeat until it shows no errors fixed.
(Space between fsck AND -fy important).
Resolve startup issues and perform disk maintenance with Disk Utility and fsck...

Tough without the Tiger Disk problems, but try fsck...
To use fsck, you must run it from the command line. Unlike using your mouse to open an application to do something, you'll need to type a text command at the prompt (#) to tell fsck what to do. The Terminal application (/Applications/Utilities) and single-user mode are two examples of command-line interfaces in which you can type such commands. To use fsck:
1. Start up your computer in single-user mode to reach the command line. Hold CMD+s keys down at bootup. Note: If necessary, perform a forced restart as described in the Emergency Troubleshooting Handbook that came with your computer. On desktop computers, you can do this by pressing the reset/interrupt button (if there is one) or holding down the power button for several seconds. 2. At the command-line prompt, type /sbin/fsck -fy

Then Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.

Unable to load Flash 9 on my Intel MacBook Pro

Unable to load Flash 9 on my Intel MacBook Pro but can on my
Intel iMac. I spoke with a Tech from the Mac Store service area and
was told that there in a thread on this issue but I can't find it.
The basic issue is that I am able to load Adobe Flash Player
9 on my Intel iMac but not on my Intel MacBook Pro and I'm unable
to determain why. I tryed uninstalling and reinstalling three times
and found no difference.
If someone could help me I'd be thankful.

I bought the $29 version of Snow Leopard (not the kosher way of doing things, i know.
If you read the license agreement, there's actually no difference between what's allowed with the $29 copy and the $169 boxed set. The only difference is that the boxed set also includes iLife and iWork. There is also, despite what some will have you believe, nothing in the license agreement that requires Leopard to be pre-installed except in the case of the $10 disk purchased as part of the Up-to-Date program (for folks who bought a machine shortly before SL was released). So, you're not being bitten by some technical requirement for Leopard to be present.
I get a flashing folder with a question mark. My disk drive makes some crazy noises as well, and it seems to start running fast, then slowing down. I think it may have caused a minor scratch on the disk as well.
Sounds like it's possible the drive could be failing, though that's impossible to say for sure remotely. One man's crazy noises are another man's normal state of operations. Do other DVDs work in your drive?
I'll also need to do an "Archive & Install" since there are tons of important files on this machine.
*DO NOT* attempt to install a system update on this machine unless you have good backups! If something goes wrong, you're screwed if you didn't have a backup. Hopefully, you have not reached that point already... I'm unclear on whether your machine is no longer able to boot, or if it's only having trouble when you try to boot from the SL disk.
If your machine is still functional, your first priority before doing *+anything else+* should be to make at least two backups. See my [Mac Backup Guide|http://www.reedcorner.net/thomas/guides/backups> for assistance with this.
If your machine can't boot anymore, let us know and we'll offer some troubleshooting tips. And don't try to do anything else with it until you've consulted with some expert, whether here or at an Apple Store or somewhere else.
