Unable to load Full Feature Software for Officejet 7410

I have downloaded the current Drivers and Full Feature Software for my 7410.  The installation states that it completed successfully.  I do not have any new software loaded on my system.  I do not have the software access to any of the features that are on the 7410.  I can print, but the automatic two sided printing does not work.  I donot have the Photosmart application avalibale also.  My OS is currently Win 7 Professional.  Is there something I am missing to get the Full Functionality of my7410 back in service?   In the near future, I will have Wondows  10 installed.  Will there be an update available with new drivers and Working Software?

Hi Teak37,
I understand that you are having an issue getting the full feature software for your printer installed from the CD. I will try my best to help you get the printer installed. Here is a download for the HP Photosmart and Officejet Full Feature Software and Drivers. Download this file and save it to your desktop. Then follow the instructions in this document for Installing the Printer Software in Windows 7 for a Wired (Ethernet) Network Connection to install the software and drivers.
I hope this information helps, let me know if you need further assistance.
Thank you,
I worked on behalf of HP.

  • How long does it take to download and install full feature software for Officejet 4500 g510g-m?

I have been updating my software in hopes I can get my Officejet 4500 g510g-m to work wirelessly but the full feature software has been at the "installing software" stage for over an hour. Is this normal? Also, anyone know where I can find a step by step guide on setting up my printer for wireless use? Is it even possible?

The download speed is dependent on many things, but is often a factor of your Internet provider's service.  If you are on basic DSL, then over an hour is not out of line.  If you are on cable, something is wrong.

  • Problem Installing HP Officejet J4580 Full Feature Software and Driver

    Hallo !
I recently installed a new 2T harddrive and performed a clean install of Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit on my e-Machine Model ET-1331-g-05w. The clean install of Windows 7, installation of the e-Machine drivers, und 325+ Microsoft  Updates was successful. The System is running fine and protected by Kaspersky 2015 Internet Security. Please note this WAS NOT an OS upgrade from Vista to Win7 - just a clean-install of the original Win7 64-bit OS.
After creating an ISO and Full Backup(nothing else has been installed at this point) I wan't to re-install my HP Officejet J4580 All-in-one. I have the original CD but I know that it can only be used on an XP or Vista OS - so I went to the www3.hp.Offical  HP Drivers and Support downloaded the Product Installation Software for:
HP Officejet Full Feature Software and Driver
    File: OJJ4500_FULL_13.exe
    Released: 2014-09-03
    Version: 13.0.0
My printer wasn't connected via USB - the install ran for about 30 and when I asked to connect the USB cable the splash screen told me it was finishing the install but then it failed with a message unable to located J4580 Drivers. The install that place the Solution Center, HP Document Manager, and HP Photosmart ICON's on my Desktop - when I opened the Solution Center - it said that it couldn't communicate to the printer. The printer and USB cable work fine on my Vista Desktop, my Vista Business Notbook. and my IBM X40 running WP SP3.
    I've also tried running:
    1) HP Update Software Utility - hpsetup.exe
    2) Hp Print and Scan Doctor - HPPSdr.exe
    3) HP Officejet Software and Driver Removal Utility - OJJ4500_Scrubber_13.exe
but the 2nd attempt to re-install failed too.
I then reloaded my clean ISO - and tried the Product Installation Software for the Basic Drivers
HP Officejet Basic Print and Scan Driver
    File: OJJ4500_Basic_13.exe
    Released: 2014-09-03
    Version: 13.0.0
The Basic Drivers worked fine -but I need the Full Driver. I double checked and the WIN 7 64-bit is shown as a supported OS for the Full Driver - any suggestions on how to proceed? I'm wondering if it would be worthwhile installing  XP virtual machine and installing the Full Drivers in VM. If I go that route - it creates other issues such as sync'n file from 64-bit to VM, then switching back & forth between VM to process other work,  and then the issue of having to scan in VM then sync the folder to 64-bit side.

    Hello @Tom_Ma,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
I would like to assist you today with installing your HP Officejet J4580 All-in-One Printer on your Windows 7 computer. Thank you for including all of the troubleshooting steps you have already attempted and your Operating System details in your post. At this point I am going to run you through some additional troubleshooting steps to get this Officejet successfully installed with the Full Feature driver. Please follow the steps below.
    Step 1: Uninstall Drivers:
It is important that we have a nice clean slate to work with for troubleshooting. Therefore, I am going to have you uninstall the existing software on your computer.
    Click on your Start menu
    Select All Programs
    Select the HP folder
    Select your HP Officejet
    Select Uninstall
Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the uninstall of your printer. Once the uninstall is complete, please proceed to the next step.
    Step 2: Clear Temp Files:
    Click on your Start menu
In the 'search programs and files' box located right above Start after you click on it, type %temp% and hit enter on your keyboard
When the Temp folder opens, select Ctrl + A at the same time on your keyboard. Everything in this folder will now highlight.
Select the 'delete' button on your keyboard. The Temp folder contains temporary internet files. No actual files or folders on your computer will be affected by deleting the Temp files. Should a Temp file still be used than you will automatically get the pop up to 'skip' that item.
Close the Temp folder once it is emptied
Right click the Recycling Bin on your desktop and select Empty Recycling Bin
Step 3: Unlock System Administrator Account:
There is the potential that there is something within your User Account that may be blocking the drivers from installing properly. Therefore, I am going to have you unlock the hidden System Administrator Account and install your device under there. Then, when you log back into your normal User Account the printer and all Full Feature software should be installed and functional for you. If all goes well, we we 'hide' the System Administrator Account once troubleshooting is complete.
Go to your Start menu and under the 'search programs and files' box type CMD
CMD will populate as a search option above, just right click on it and 'run as administrator'
Once CMD (Command Prompt) opens, type net user administrator /active:yes and hit enter
Next, close CMD and restart your computer
When your computer comes on log into the new account that should show. It will be called Administrator and will not have a password on it.
If your computer automatically logs into your account after restart than go to your start menu click the arrow beside 'shutdown' and choose 'switch user'. Now log into the Administrator account we just unlocked
Under the Administrator account download and install the drivers: HP Officejet Full Feature Software and Driver
Please follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation of your printer
Once the installation is complete, please test printing and scanning to confirm that everything is now working properly.
If everything installs fine, log out of this account and back into your normal User Account. All the Software and Drivers for your product should show installed now on your account.
Under your User Account please test printing and scanning again to confirm that everything is still working.
If everything works fine, you will want to Hide the Administrator account.
Step 4: Hide System Administrator Account:
Go to your Start menu and under the 'search programs and files' box type CMD
CMD will populate as a search option above, just right click on it and 'run as administrator'
Once CMD (Command Prompt) opens, type net user administrator /active:no and hit enter
Next, close CMD and restart your computer
Please respond to this post with the result of your troubleshooting. I look forward to hearing from you!

  • Trying to find Windows 7 driver / software for OfficeJet 4500 (CB867A) connected using Wired Network

    Hello,
I am trying to use my Son-in-Law's HP OfficeJet 4500 CB867A (G510G).  I am able to SUCCESSFULLY:
Communicate using a browser with the printer (e.g. http:\\192.168.10.139)
Print from my Samsung Galaxy S3 32GB phone using the HP Android software.  If finds the printer just find and prints just fine.
Thus the printer looks to be connected successfully to the network.  (Wouldn't you agree?)
The problem is installing the printer on our various Windows 7 Ultimate x64 systems.  Right now I've only been trying my workstation (Dell T7500).  When I follow the directions what comes down is the basic driver and software.  The basic driver and software ONLY supports USB.  I cam to this conclusion throgh two facts:
The documentation on the download page, when you look at the details says only supports USB.  This is true for G510A and G510G.  I didn't try G501N, as it is wireless.  Maybe it is really Wire and Wireles . . .
I can't get the setup Wizard to try to find the printer through anything but USB.
How do I get Windows 7 to recognize this WIRED (e.g. Cat7 cable) HP All-in-One printer?
    Thank you?

    Hello,
Thank you for the very quick reply.  I will try the download link you gave me.
As for the documentation, I looked again and what I'm seeing says Windows 7 and does say for "USB only."  I page and what I'm reading are:
    URL:  http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-Officejet-4500-All-in-One-Printer-Series---G510/3...
    The text I'm reading says:
    Details
The Full Feature Software and driver solution is the complete software solution intended for users who want more than just a basic drivers.
    IMPORTANT NOTES
For Windows XP SP 1 Starter Edition and Windows Vista Starter Edition
Only printer drivers and the Toolbox are available
    Is supported for USB only
Hardware Setup Wizard is not available
After downloading and installing this software, I got two icons on the desktop.  They both (in their own ways) insisted on using USB to connect to the printer.  One was a HP Solution Center and the other a HP Printer Setup icon/program.
Again I'll look at your download.  Hopefully, it will be what a wired printer needs to print and scan! :-)

  • C6150 Win 7 Full Featured software won't install

I can install a printer driver and print no problem.  I am using on a network.  I can see the printer no problem.  I want to use the scan to computer function, and found that I must install the layest full featured software set - HP solution Center - to do that.  I have downloaded the file, it expands, then either does nothing, or I get an error message that says runtime error - this application has asked runtime to terminate it in an unusual way,  I cannot get it to install.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling.
    Shut down firewalls
    Redownloaded the file.
Tried the patch for the AMD C50 processor - no work, but I have an AMD FX-6100 3.3 Ghz anyway.
I have restored to a point before doing the uninstalls.
I have run C Cleaner to clean up bad links
Now it seems that all of the HP software on this machine is hopelessly lost,  I get file not found or missing shortcut error messages.  The uninstaller is gone, so I can't uninstall.
    Please help!

    Hi smi5ths,
I understand that you are having an issue trying to install the software for the Photosmart C6150. I will try my best to help you resolve this issue.
I recommend downloading the HP Officejet Pro Software and Driver Removal Utility and running a Level 3 uninstall.
Then download and run the HP Printer Install Wizard for Windows to find and install the correct driver software for your printer.
I hope this information helps, let me know how it goes.
    Thank you,

  • Can't Install C5200 All-in-One Printer Full Feature Software- Runtime error Prevents Installation

I am running Windows 7 64-bit and I am unable to install the HP Photosmart C5200 All-in-One Printer series Full Feature Software that I downloaded from the website.
After extraction, I get the following error:
    Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
    Runtime Error!
    Program: c:\Users\MyUsername~1\AppData\Local\Temp\7zS7526\Setop.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information
Can anyone help me solve this problem?
The actual printer and all associated drivers are installed and working correctly.

    Hey cmsciulli,
I would first like to welcome you to the HP Support Forums!
When getting the Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime error message. The first step that I would suggest doing, is to make sure that you do have the latest update. I have included a link to the latest available download from Microsoft for 'Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 4'. Along with this update, I would also suggest completing any other Windows updates that are available to you.
After you have installed all the necessary updates, I would suggest restarting your computer, if you have not already. Then try installing the printer software again.
If you are still experiencing the same error message when trying to install the printer, please let me know the version of Windows that you are currently running. If you need assistance in finding the version, I have included the document 'Which Windows operating system am I running?'.
    Looking forward to your reply!

  • Unable to load plug-in assembly for crm 2013 on site

    hi,
i am trying to register a plugin that i wrote to our CRM 2013 on site, i have copied my dll and the 2 ms dll's Microsoft.Crm.Sdk.Proxy.dll and Microsoft.Xrm.Sdk.dll to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics CRM\Server\bin\assembly on the CRM
server machine.  this assembly directory has all of the permissions for my user and the same user has the Deployment Administrator role in CRM.
however, i am still getting an error "Unable to load plug-in assembly." when trying to register the assembly plugin in without isolation mode, on disc.  when i register to database it works fine.  but i would like to stick to the disc
    while debugging.
what else could be causing this problem?
    thanks,
    Inna

That is a strange one, I've never had good luck with anything other than database deployment.  You can debug the plugin DLL using database deployment.
That being said, there is a very good tool called DevDeployment that you can use for your VS build process to publish the updated DLL after it's built.
    http://www.patrickverbeeten.com/CRM-Applications/Deployment-Helper
Not sure if this answers the question, but if you don't get an answer you can use this tool anyway.
