Unable to load google images properly with FF 24.0 on Android 4.1.2 on Samsung Tab 7.7.

the correct image is not being shown, and images are being overlaid when I select an image after a Google image search. I am running the latest version of Firefox for Android (v24.0) my Gt-P6800 Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7. Is this a common fault/bug? I can't use FF for images as a result.

Hi, thank you for your reply, but this is one on the first things I tried. With further investigation, I am now experiencing the same problem with Opera mobile. However, I don't get the problem with the built in web browser or chrome. I am up to date with Android for my tablet, and I have the latest version of Firefox. This means that I am on the verge of dispensing with Firefox as it's virtually unusable for Google images.

  • Unable to Load the images Required by Classroom in a Book

    Just purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements 12.  I am trying the follow the lessons in the above book.  When I create the files and download the images, I am unable the import the files and images into the Photoshop Organizer.  Some images will import but most just display a weird icon.  I have reloaded, updated Windows, Photoshop, display drivers, you name it.  Nothing works.
    Using Windows 7 with 8 GBs of 64 bit memory.
    I like the book, and feel it will be a great introduction to Photoshop.  But if I can't load the images into the Photoshop 12 Organizer. I can't follow or use the book
    Lou (tobytussah)

    Lou again.
    As a follow up.  I am also unable to reliability load any Images into the Organizer either by using the Organizer File find functions or totally unable to move images into the Organizer using the Windows Explorer.
    Should the ask for help better belong in some other forum?

  • Unable to load DLL 'OraOps10.dll with a twist

    Hi,
    So, I have been struggling with an issue for the last couple of weeks that is sending my mad. I receive the following error when attempting to make a connection to a database with my web app:
    Error message:
    "Unable to load DLL 'OraOps10.dll': The specified module could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: (0x8007007E)"
    I am using
    Windows 2008 32bit
    Oracle Client 11g
    .net v2
    IIS7
    My apps called CMA, slimier to a more well known app NCSuite
    My connection to the database seems to working doing a simple test with a .udl file.
    I have attempted the following:
    Full re-installing the Oracle drivers following online instruction to clear reg and assembly, several times
    Setting permissions on the folder to beyond what they should be
    Setting permissions on any folder that refers to oracle
    Tried installing ODP.NET just on the off chance it might help
    Had a good mess to see if it was something to do with the 64bit issue, but obviously not as Im 32bit
    Unfortunately earlier version of the Oracle client are not compatible
    One thing that confuses me is why my app would refer to OraOps10.dll rather than the OraOps11w.dll thats being used. Only Oracle 11g has ever been installed on this machine as its a fresh build. The application itself does not directly refer to the OraOps10.dll.
    Any thoughts?
    Regards

    Hi,
    I'm a bit confused by your statement "+Tried installing ODP.NET just on the off chance it might help+". You can only get that error if you're using ODP.NET in the first place. A UDL file would test an oledb connection, so it's good just to make sure the client libraries are there and tnsnames configured correctly, but otherwise a bit irrelevant to this error.
    Anyway, that error occurs when ODP either cant find it's dependencies.. either the right OraOps or client dlls, or finds them but finds the wrong ones. OraOps11 (without the 'w') gets loaded when your application loads the 1.x ODP.NET provider. The provider for .net 2.x and higher loads oraops11w.dll.
    The usual cause of this error is from apps including Oracle.DataAccess.dll in the app bin directory, rather than letting it get picked up from the GAC.
    I'd start by
    1) searching your machine for all Oracle.DataAccess.dll, and rename any outside the Oracle home and/or GAC.
    2) if that doesnt do it, use a tool like Process Explorer (http://sysinternals.com) to find out where Oracle.DataAccess.dll is being loaded from, and what version. You need to have a matching OraOps that is the same version as Oracle.DataAccess.dll they actually need to be a matched pair (check the date of the dlls), but its the mismatched version that causes the error.
    3) if neither of the above help, use Process Monitor to watch the dll's loaded 'live' to see if there is some sort of permissions issue, but the well known permissions issue that you've probably found information about was specific to 9.2 and 10.2 client, and is not an issue with 11g. That is to say, the OUI sets permissions properly in 11g, but it's still possible an IIS admin may have cranked permissions down too tight.
    Additionally,
    1) What version of ODP was your app compiled with?
    2) What version of .NET framework?
    3) What version of 11g client do you have installed, and what did you install it from? ie, 11107.0 full client? or 11107.20 odac bundle?
    4) The ODP forum is located here: ODP.NET
    Hope it helps,
    Greg

  • Load JP2 image file with GeoRasterLoader

    Hi to all,
    We are trying to set up Oracle GeoRaster tools (stand-alone client-side java Executables found in %ORACLE_HOME%\md\...) in order to view and load JP2 image files to Oracle.
    Our test environment has Oracle 11g r2 (11.2.0.3.0) EE with Spatial Option on Microsoft Windows XP Professional 2002 SP3.
    Following the instructions for loading JP2 we download and install jai_imageio-1_1-lib-windows-i586.exe from: http://download.java.net/media/jai-imageio/builds/release/1.1/

  • Unable to load TIF images into Photoshop.

    CS4 (11.0.2) and Windows 7 Home Edition.
    Have developed a problem trying to load some TIF images into Photoshop. I have a large number of images archived over a decade or more. At this point it may some of the older files that exhibit the problem. Now all these files were edited and stored using the Photoshop versions during the complete time period. The files are always saved with no compression. Have tried to load from Photoshop and clicking on the file in a file list. Photoshop just hangs and I get the message Program not responding. I can take these same files and load them into the ROXIO photo editor with no problem. Stranger yet is if I simply load the file into the ROXIO editor then "save as" back into the same folder (overwrite) the file can then be brought into Photoshop with no problem! Any ideas?

    Noel,
    Will try to keep short.
    I reinstalled Photoshop CS4 from the cd CS set. Did not uninstall first. Restarted PC and Photoshop. Still failed the same way with a 3001 image.
    Did the following, changing one item in the Edit->Preference->GPU Setting. After each change, closed Photoshop, reopened, brought in 3001 image, restored original setting. 3001 failed each time.
    * Unchecked Enable OpenGL Drawing
    * Advanced setup: Unchecked Advanced Drawing.
    * Advanced setup: Unchecked Color Matching
    Next went to the Edit->Color Profile.
    Scanned thru options and saw in the Convert Options: Engine. It was set to Adobe (ACE). ACE was the module name in the error detail!
    Only other option for this is Microsoft ICM. Changed to that, close/open Photoshop and 3001 came in no problem. So did the Nikon 3000, srgb IEC 61922 2.1 and Untagged. However, when briging in an Adobe RGB(1998) image Photoshop notes Profile Mismatch. It allows me to decide what to do (use embedded profile instead of workspace; convert color to work space color; discard embedded profile. and I choose use the convert color and it loads ok. At least it loads the image! Will use this approach for now. I need to get educated on color profiles!!

  • Firefox won't load google image search results

    Firefox won't load google search results. It will load the page of results with the thumbnails etc. but if you click any of them, just a loading spinning icon appears on the tab and it never loads.
    I have tried:
    Both logged in and out of google account,
    All other areas of google work with no problems (news, shopping etc.),
    Site working perfectly in Internet Explorer,
    Running firefox in safemode,
    Manually disabling all plugins and addons,
    Clearing the cache and cookies,
    Opening results in new tab just results in white page with web address but it never loads,
    Restarting both my PC and router.
    It's not been working for at least the past 6 hours. Last time I used it was about a week ago and it was working fine then. I've not noticed any problems on any other sites this week that I can recall.

    Updating firefox to version 17.0 appears to have solved this.

  • Help with removing images from Google image searches with Dreamweaver

    I made a sight in dreamweaver, and need to remove a page from that website with some old images. So I removed the link and moved the webpage from the root folder. And If I go into dreamweaver the page is blank showing the image has been removed.
    But the images are still showing up in google image searches even though I removed them in dreamweaver and re-uploaded the sight successfully. How do I remove them form the internet completely so they no longer show up in google images??

  • Won't load on Skytex alpha with 2.3? Non Android market site to load?

    I have a Skytex alpha pad running 2.3.3. Went to your /m site & tried to load firefox - no joy.
    Is there a non-android market where firefox mobile can be downloaded?

    It appears to have a Freescale i.MX515 which is a ARMv7 and 512mb Ram.
    So in theory it can run the mobile Firefox.
    You can try installing and updating it manually.

  • Unable to load external image into iOS app with AS3

    Just trying out Flash Builder for iOS app development and have run into a problem right off the bat with loading an external image into an iOS app.  The actionscript is very simple (this was basically my Hello World attempt), and I'm hoping someone here can explain where I'm going wrong.  This code works in Flash Pro, and works when launched on the desktop from Flash Builder, but doesn't work on my iOS devices.
    Here's the code:
                                  var container:MovieClip = new MovieClip();
                                  addChild(container);
                                  var imageLoader:Loader = new Loader();
           imageLoader.load(new URLRequest("http://www.google.ca/intl/en_ALL/images/logos/images_logo_lg.gif"));
                                  imageLoader.contentLoaderInfo.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE, startListener);
      function startListener (e:Event):void{
                                                 container.addChild(imageLoader);
    Any thoughts on why this won't work would be greatly appreciated!

    I had the same issue, and modified my domain policy file as specified  in http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flashplayer/articles/fplayer9_security.html#_Configuring_URL_M eta-Policies but the loader is not loading the file. Any ideas on how to fix this issue?

  • Unable to load external images in flash

    Hi,
    I am a beginner in flash programming. I am trying to write a small flash app which will load and display images provided as a query.
    My flash app works fine when I provide the image path directly in the browser address bar, but it is not working when I do the same using html.
    Here is the direct link to the flash app:http://srbose.freelinuxhost.co.cc/test/lesson2.swf?photo=http://www.flash-mx.com/images/im age1.jpg
    Here is the link to the html with which I am trying to invoke the app.
    http://srbose.freelinuxhost.co.cc/test/lesson2.html
    The Html code is attached with the post.
    I know my app is getting invoked and it appears to work fine when I hardcode the image url into the flash app. But the query method just does not seem to be working!!
    This is hosted on a linux site supporting php.
    I have really hit a stone wall here as far as debugging this goes. Any help will be really welcome. Thanks in advance, srb.

    I got my answer. I had to append the photo url to the 'movie' value of the javascript embed method. Like this:
    <script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript">
       AC_FL_RunContent(
          'codebase', 'http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=10,0,0,0',

          'align', 'middle',
          'play', 'true',
          'loop', 'true',
          'scale', 'showall',
          'wmode', 'window',
          'devicefont', 'false',
          'id', 'lesson2',
          'bgcolor', '#ffffff',
          'name', 'lesson2',
          'menu', 'true',
          'allowFullScreen', 'false',
          'allowScriptAccess','always',
          'movie', 'lesson2?photo=http://www.flash-mx.com/images/image1.jpg',
          'salign', ''
          ); //end AC code
    </script>
    Thanks,

  • Unable to load RAW images to Photoshop elements 10

    tells me that the file type is not supported. Ideas?

    You have three alternatives:
    (1) Upgrade to PSE 11. (2) Download and install the free Adobe DNG converter to convert your CR2 files to the Adobe universal Raw format and the files will open in all versions of PSE (keep your original CR2’s as backup) or (3) Use Canon DPP bundled with your camera.
    Windows download click here DNG Converter 7.2
    Mac download click here DNG Converter 7.2
    You can convert a whole folder of CR2 images in one click. See this quick video tutorial:

  • Google images wont load

    my nokia x6 wont load google images. Even on the homepage i dont get the google symbol. All i get is a green and blue box cut in half. Would someone kindly help me to fix my issue. Many thanks

    Have you created and logged into another user and does the same thing occur?
    You might have to backup all your user files to a regular external drive and stick the 10.6 disk into the comptuer and reboot holding the c key.
    There on the second screen will be a option to re-install OS X (won't touch your files and most programs, but backup regardless) and then reboot. Should be fine after that.

  • Help With Loading an Image In AIR

    I need to load an image (GIF) with AIR using File and FileStream, but can't figure out how to do it. I need to load the image into a Bitmap or BitmapData object, so I can't use the loader class. Here's what I have so far:
    import flash.display.*;
    import flash.events.*;
    import flash.filesytem.*;
    import flash.net.FileFilter;
    import flash.utils.ByteArray;
    import flash.geom.Rectangle;
    var file:File = File.documentsDirectory;
    var myImage:BitmapData;
    var myFilter:FileFilter = new FileFilter("GIF Image","*.gif");
    file.addEventListener(Event.SELECT,loadImage);
    file.browseForOpen("Open",[myFilter]);
    function loadImage(e:Event):void{
    var stream:FileStream = new FileStream();
    stream.open(file,FileMode.READ);
    var bytes:ByteArray = new ByteArray();
    stream.readBytes(bytes);
    stream.close();
    //By the way, this image is a special format and will always be 160 by 160 pixels.
    myImage = new BitmapData(160,160);
    bytes.position = 0;
    myImage.setPixels(new Rectangle(0,0,160,160),bytes);
    addChild(new Bitmap(myImage));
    However, this never works. I always get this error:
    Error #2030: End of file was encountered.
    I don't quite understand why. Help would be much appreciated.

    I already know how to do that, but I specifically stated in my post that I can't use the Loader class. The reason for that is that my program is an image manipulation program, and I need to load the data into a BitmapData object. However, since I originally made my post, I have found some more information. I used trace() to find out the length of the ByteArray I was loading the data into, and then the position after trying to create the BitmapData object, like so:
    import flash.display.*;
    import flash.events.*;
    import flash.filesytem.*;
    import flash.net.FileFilter;
    import flash.utils.ByteArray;
    import flash.geom.Rectangle;
    import flash.errors.EOFError;
    var file:File = File.documentsDirectory;
    var myImage:BitmapData;
    var myFilter:FileFilter = new FileFilter("GIF Image","*.gif");
    file.addEventListener(Event.SELECT,loadImage);
    file.browseForOpen("Open",[myFilter]);
    function loadImage(e:Event):void{
         var stream:FileStream = new FileStream();
         stream.open(file,FileMode.READ);
         var bytes:ByteArray = new ByteArray();
         stream.readBytes(bytes);
         stream.close();
         trace(bytes.length); //Outputs: 4631
         //By the way, this image is a special format and will always be 160 by 160 pixels.
         myImage = new BitmapData(160,160);
         bytes.position = 0;
         try{
              myImage.setPixels(new Rectangle(0,0,160,160),bytes);
         } catch(e:EOFError){
              trace(bytes.position); //Outputs: 4628
         addChild(new Bitmap(myImage));
    As the comments show, though the ByteArray is 4631 bytes, it is only read up until byte number 4628. Then it throws an error. Any idea what's going on?

  • Image processing with applets

    Hi
    I need to create a website with several image processing applets on it. however although the applets work locally they will not load at all through a server (i'm a student) my supervisor tells me i cant use an applet to display an image stored on a server. but as applets specifically have getImage methods which must be able to get images from the server i think he is wrong but do not know how to do it.
    Any advice will result in some really great Karma directed your way.
    thanks

    here's the code I use, make special note of the getDocumentBase(), as this request will be a URL based request, rather than a file read

    }catch(Throwable t) {
    System.out.println("Unable to load logo image",t);
