Unable to Load Photoshop Elements from DVD using Internet Explorer 10. Error: need IE 4 or Higher
Upgrading my Laptop and moving my Photoshop Elements (~2010) to my Windows 7 machine. Message says I need Internet Eplorer 4.0 or greater. I'm on IE 10.
That's a bug in the Adobe installer which seems to think IE10 is IE1.
Either put IE10 into IE9 or lower mode using Compatibility View.
http://techathlon.com/internet-explorer-10-run-compatibility-mode/
Or simply use a different browser such as Google Chrome or Firefox.

I'm running Windows 7 (64-bit), using Firefox 8.0. When I open a document with Adobe Reader 9, I am unable to do anything with it (print, save, etc.) other than view it. When I use Internet Explorer I don't have this problem.
Not sure what you mean by truncated troubleshooting report, but here's what I copied from "troubleshooting" under "help". My printer is selected as the default printer in Devices and Printers. Also, remember that a document that won't print in Firefox prints fine in Internet Explorer.

Check the image exceptions: Tools > Options > Content: Load Images: Exceptions - See [[Options window - Content panel]]
A way to see which images are blocked is to click the favicon (''Site Identification'' icon) on the left side of the location bar and click the "More Information" button.
This will open the Security tab of the ''Page Info'' window (also accessible via Tools > Page Info).
Go to the ''Media'' tab of that Page Info window.
Select the first image and scroll down though the list with the Down arrow.
If an image is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box ''Block Images from...'' then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.

Unable to set mailbox forwarder within ECP using Internet Explorer
We seem to have an issue that has developed where using Internet Explorer we are now unable to set a mailbox forwarder within the ECP.
When we use Internet Explorer 11 the following is used to discover the issue:
1. Under mailboxes select any recipient, click "mailbox features" > and under Mail Flow click "View details"
2. Click "Enable forwarding" > "Browse" and then select and recipient you want to forward ail too.
3. Once you click on "Ok" it will be observed that the field in IE is blank account to forward to is not there.
We have tried rebooting the CAS already in case something was cached but this did not help resolve the issue.
We have noticed that if you open the ECP and repeat the steps in Firefox or Chrome the issue is not there. This is happening on all our machines in the domain and says to me it is an IE issue rather than Exchange maybe.. Does anyone know what might be causing
it?
Our environment is Windows Server 2012 R2, Exchange 2013 CU6Hi,
After installing update 3008923, some web application modal dialog boxes may not work correctly in Internet Explorer 11. Now there is an update to resolve this issue.

Printing from websites using Internet Explorer
I use Internet Explorer and have an HP Photosmart 7350 printer. Whenever I print a page from a website, the print is extremely small. Is there a solution to this other than to copy and paste the page to Word and adjust the font there?
That's a bug in the Adobe installer which seems to think IE10 is IE1.
Either put IE10 into IE9 or lower mode using Compatibility View.
http://techathlon.com/internet-explorer-10-run-compatibility-mode/
Or simply use a different browser such as Google Chrome or Firefox. -
I've tried all the suggested solutions in: What to do if you can't download or save files.
I can't download from Yahoo, but can from Gmail. I've tested using copies of the same file on both. Someone suggested checking malware, but I've run a scan and don't have a problem, and as I say, i can use Internet Explorer and Google Chrome. Someone asked for a screen shot, who knows why.Hi Patsy,
Please continue with your question here:

That is where your request for help started. All the information about what you tried is there so you don't have to repeat yourself all over again here. Hopefully it will get solved. Thanks for your patience. -
Adobe Flash/Photoshop/After Effects CS4 Installation - Internet Explorer Script Error
Greetings everyone. Another Adobe Installation disaster story.
I'm trying to install the aforementioned products (Flash, Photoshop, After Effects) on my computer, but I get about 20 "Internet Explorer Script Error"'s every time. [I don't even use Internet Explorer] I don't understand why the installation worked on a different computer I own but not this one. Both of them are running Windows XP Home.
I've already tried removing all Adobe Products, using msicuu2.exe, CS4CleanupScript from Adobe, etc...
This is the install log that was generated for Flash.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Unable to login to Client's VPN using Internet Explorer 11
Hi,
I have a windows 8.1 with IE11. I am unable to access my Customer's VPN through this version of IE11.
When checked with my customer's tech support they said, the VPN can only be connected through IE 8 or IE9.
I had tried Compatibility View Settings and Developer tools, but no luck.
Can you please help me downgrade my IE11 to IE9? or is there any other way that could help me connect to the Client's VPN?
thanks

Are there issues with Photoshop Elements 4.0 and Internet Explorer 8.0?
I recently upgraded to IE 8.0 and got a message that My catalog.psa file was missing. I recreated this file and then was able to open the organizer. My original tags, collection etc. were missing. I have done a search for any.pas file and cannot find the original extensive file I had that must have had about 2000 photos organized in that catalog. Because of Outlook Express issues at the same time of the IE 8.0 upgrade Microsoft backed out the IE 8.0 to IE 7.0 and this did not help me to restore my original My Catalog.pas file. I see two psa files associated with 4.0 : My Catalog-undo.pas and My Catalog.psa. If I tried to select the My Catalog-undo.pas I get the following message...There was a problem opening The Catalog named "My Catalog-undo.psa. Another user or application may have the catalog open, or one or more files may be missing, out of date, or damaged. The ODBC data source reported the following error: "[Microsoft] ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot find the input table or query IdTable.' make sure it exists and that its name is spelled correctly.* Attempt to compact and recover this catalog, then open again? OK Cancel
Please help me understand what i must do to get my original My Catalog file installed. Thank you."I recently upgraded to IE 8.0 and got a message that My catalog.psa file was missing." Aside from the fact that IE 8.0 has nothing to do with PSE, I am extremely skeptical that the upgrade to IE 8 gave you an error message that your My Catalog.psa file was missing.
Your catalog may have been accidentally moved or deleted, but I refuse to believe that it has anything to do with IE 8. By now, there are many PSE users who have upgarded to IE 8, and I hear no complaints from them.
When you did the search, did you search in hidden folders? Usually, PSE puts its catalog into hidden folders, so you need to make sure you search hidden folders.
If you can't find the catalog file via searching in hidden folders, you might want to look in the trash can, or if that fails, try something called an "undelete utility" which may be able to recover erased files. There are freeware versions you can download.
As you discovered, you cannot recreate catalogs. Which means that you need to make regular backups of your catalog file and your photos, so if something accidentally happens to your catalog, you still have a recent copy. I am assuming that you have not done so. I am also assuming that whenever your fix this problem, you will begin making regular backups.
Good luck. -
IWeb 08 site not viewable using Internet Explorer
I have had feedback from friends using Internet Explorer saying that when they try to view my site their browser freezes and can't open the page. It works fine when using Safari.
I have seen a number of posts regarding this issue and am wondering if there is a straightforward fix, or whether we will have to wait for Apple on this one?
Has anyone been able to test an iWeb 08 created site using IE?
Thanks,
M&CCan you be more specific and tell us what version of IE, I am assuming they are on Windows too. My assumption is that the most current version will work fine—have not tested it in full—but pervious version of IE have not played well with web standards. Currently, all of my content from iWeb06 works fine with IE (going on assumption because I have only tested it a few times on IE, I think it was version 6 or 7). I have not created anything new with iWeb08, so I have not had a chance to test it.
Best fix: Tell your friends to use FireFox. -
I just updated my mac from Tiger to Mountain Lion. wiped the computer clean and started fresh Loaded Photoshop elements 11 (brand new in the box) and when I try to start it - it comes up saying - Licensing for the product has stopped working contact for help. in Looking for help I was directed here. what do I do?
I don't know enough to not follow directions. I bought the software brand new in a sealed from factory box. Had it sitting around until - last week when I deleted flash on my computer and had to upgrade to the new OSX. Mountain Lion doesn't use iPhoto - so I had to go with something else. Since I already had this new - unopened package I opened it up. Shut down all running programs - inserted the disk and followed all the directions for installation. Still it didn't work.
I have now uninstalled it (the proper way) and am going to try again.
I appreciate your responses.
Thank you!
If this doesn't work - I am going to just buy Lightroom. -
Due to Photoshop Elements 12 Organizer I uninstalled the program. When I re-installed Photoshop Elements 12 on the same computer the "Photoshop Elements 12.0.exe" file is not available. I have tried loading Photoshop Elements 12 from the Adobe web site without success.
The Elements 12 shortcut can't find the Elements12.0.exe file so the program will not load. I can load the editor from its .exe file but not the organizer.
