Unable to load sample planning data through EAS

Hi
I am using planning 9.3.1 version. I installed Planning ,EAS, previously I loaded the sample data a lot of times , right now I installed Provider services now I am getting error in loading the data through EAS when I am loading the data I am unable to select the error file but I can select the load file . Even when I am hitting the online help it is not opening too.Previously before installing APS I am able to load. Does any one face this issue.....

At my place though we have done the same using a BDC, but uploading a maintenance plan is quite possible via LSMW using"Direct Input Methord", IBIP Structure.
Object is 0460
methord is 0001.
you can even create a strategy plan using the same Program IBIP.

Need to load the data through excel for plan data through IP?

Hi all,
The user needs to load the data through the excel and click on the save button so that the data is saved in the cube through integrated planning.
The objects used are
customer, material, plant, calendarmonth sales qty, gross billing!!

If you are using bPS you can get the details in Wiki also for the same.
You can then create the hyperlink in Excel ,which user can use to upload data which can then be saved to cube using save button.

Unable to copy plan data through KP97

Hi,
we are trying to copy plan data from budget to forecast c01 for current fiscal year.We could not copy the plan data. On our investigation we found that if we copy cost centres individually planning data for all but two cost centres are copied. Thus we cannot copy data for two cost centres and system issues no errors either in test run or in actual run.
What could be wrong ? any ideas?

Check the validity of the cost centers. Also check the block indicators in cost center master data.

XEM - Unable to load the initial data or the variances(delta) data into sys

I am installing xEM 2.0 SP 10 (SAP xApp Emissions Management) in a windows environment with SQL 5000. I installed xEM on NW 2004, usage types AS Java and EP 6.
I am attempting to load the initial data or the variances (delta) data into the system. Instruction is on page 15 in the install guide.
I am supposed to enter the following in the command line:
java -Djava.ext.dirs=. -jar SAPtrans.jar import logfile=import.log datafile=init.dat connectstring=[JDBC Driver];[JDBCUrl];[User];[Password]
Example command for import into SQL Server:

My last attempt was a command using colons and semicolons with the following results. The closest (there was a significant delay before the error or failure) appears to have been //PRODSQL43;SQL3:1534; (second attempt). The error listed from this attempt is   "Error establishing socket. Connection refused: connect".
I also checked the default database that user SAPPEMDB has in place and it is assign the correct database.

It looks like one of the following:
1. The DB is down,
2. The user SAPPEMDB does not have the right authorization.
3. The password of the user SAPPEMDB is not password
4. The syntax is incorrect
in order to find what is the problem,
please:
1. Login in the the DB PRODSQL43:1534 with the user "SAPPEMDB" and the password "password",
this will eliminate the options 1 - DB down, 2 -SAPPEMDB does not have authorization and 3 - password of the user SAPPEMDB is not password.
2. If the login failed, than please run sql trace with security elements (in the client there is a tool called "SQL Profiler"
3. If the login is correct, than you check the syntax of the command:
"java -Djava.ext.dirs=. -jar SAPtrans.jar import logfile=import.log datafile=init.dat connectstring=com.ddtek.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDriver; jdbc:datadirect:sqlserver://vma03:1433;SAPC11DB;password"
According to the error message "Error establishing socket. Connection refused"
it looks like The DB is down or syntax is incorrect.

Unable to Load the XML data file in to RTF template

I am facing an error while loading my xml data which has the japanese characters values in between the XML tags into the RTF Template.Though i have installed Japan fonts in my system,still unable to load the data.

Loading of master data through input schedule

Hi guys!
Is any solution for loading/updating of master data through input schedule?

Hi Maxim,
In addition to all above, Input Schedules are used to enter and send data for whatever dimension members you have maintained in BI or BPC.
The master data can be maintained in BI, then you need ot load data from BI and it will be reflected in BPC.
If you want to make changes in master data in BPC, then you need to goto Admin, select whatever properties you want to display and then Maintain Dimension Members for the same.
However, you can also import master data from BI using DM packages in BPC Excel.

Unable to update payment cards data through ORDERS05 in va02

Hi all,
I noticed one thing that in IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS (ie creation of sales order) we have a bdcdata populated for payment cards (for header in VA01) .But when we are changing sales order by IDOC_INPUT_ORDCHG (change sales order VA02) we have no bdcdata populated for updating payment cards ( like CCNUM ) though we are passing these details through IDOC.
Can anyone tell me why bdcdata through idoc posting is getting populated in VA01 but not through VA02 . We can change payment card dara manually in VA02 why cant we achieve the same through idoc.
Please help me as updating payment card data through idoc in VA02 is my requirement .
Do i need to populate it by writing code in an exit in IDOC_INPUT_ORDCHG.
Any help is appreciated.

Loading Demand plan data from APO to BW

Hi Gurus,
We have requirement as below.
we have to extract two key figures from APO to BW system
The 2key figures of APO will get data as below:
First key figure has to hold Yearly snap shot and 2nd Key figure has to hold QTY snapshot.
we have constrained production plan & sales plan keyfigures in apo demand planning and the requirement is to extract these 2 keyfigure quaintest into BI.
Data Example as below:
KF1: Yearly snapshot
KF2: Quarterly snapshots
Yearly data means from   Jan to Dec and
Quaterly data is as below
Qtr1 - Dec       JAN to Dec
Qtr2 (in FEB) - Mar to Dec
Qtr3 (in May) - Jun to Dec
Qtr4 (in Aug) - Sep to Dec
so please let me know to how to handle or extract these data into BW.

But my question here is how to get that data into BW? meaning...
If APO/DP does the planning in the month of Sep 2010 for Jan to dec 2011 and the
values are like

meaning, If the planning is done in the month of Sep 2010 for the yr 2011 as explained above that values should be extracted into BW and the next planning will be done in the month of Dec 2010 again for entire yr of 2011 i.e. Jan 2011 to Dec2011.
But the values should be captured as they are.. that means if i use DSO the values from request1 to request2 will be over written n if i use the cube they will be added up..
Request1 will hold data of Sep2010: planning data
Request2 wil hold Dec 2010 data ....n req3 will hold data of Mar 11...
but users want to see the values or planning figures as they are.
Hope i made my requimrent more detailled.
Please let me know the solution to get the data as it is in BW.

Unable to deploy Sample Planning application

Hi All,
I am trying to deploy the sample Planning Application 11.1.1.3 by the help of OBE. When I click on Finish, I am getting an error as below:
"An error occurred while processing this page. Check the log for details"
I checked that all my services are up and in fact I am not able to understand where to trace the error information. I checked in logs folder, but was not helpful. Please advice how to resolve this issue.

As suggested checked the HyS9Planning-sysout.log and noticed that it have some privileges issue. Now I granted the user "budplan" with Resource and Connect privileges other than DBA and restarted the Planning Services and it worked fine and I was abe to create the Planning Application. The error I got previously is as below:
Connection to the datasource created successfully.
createSchema hyperion.jdbc.base.BaseBatchUpdateException: [Hyperion][Oracle JDBC Driver][Oracle]ORA-01950: no privileges on tablespace 'PLANNINGAPPLICATIONS'

I am able to load everything except service plan item detail.

I have renewed my membership with a different credit card but adobe says they are unable to load my plans and products?

Hi guys,
I am working from a Mac and and I recently changed my credit card to pay for my membership and was told that none of my products or plans are able to be loaded.
I did have two accounts, however one was a trial membership and one was a paid membership which is the one in question.
I would love to speak to someone at adobe but as usual there is NOBODY TO SPEAK TO and I am being sent around the same loop with troubleshooting solutions that do not help with my issue!!!! HUGELY FRUSTRATING!!!
Can someone please help me as I have a deadline in a few days and a lot needs to be done in a short period of time.
