Unable to load Solaris 8 using Panasonic CD drive
I am not able to load solaris 8, Sparc version 6/00 into a Sun UltraSparc AXe system using the Panasonic CR-176D CD-ROM drive. Also tried with TEAC CD-224E CD drive with similar problem.
The system indicate a timeout error, abort and reset the system.
Has anyone encountered this? Is it a hardware compatibility issue or a software bug? Any device driver or patches to fix thie issue ?
Any advice will be helpful.
Thanks.
Hi, <br><br>
I couldn't find any know bugs with these particular models<br>
but neither of them appear on the compatibility list.<br>
Have a look at the following URL for a list of third party<br>
products compatible with the SPARCengine Ultra AXe board:<br><br>

Hope this helps.<br>

Unable to load performance pack, using Java I/O on WL60, sp2
Dear friends,
I am seeking help from you. When we start WL60 SP2 on Sun Soloris 5.6, we got
the following exception:

Hoever, the server itself started, and our applications runs ok
(at least so far). But this exception appears every time on some user accounts.
I was wondering what causes this exception. Some user accounts in the same machine
don't have this problem.
I also wondering if it will cause performance problem when the traffic is high.
We already applied the patches.
Any hits and suggestions are welcome.
Thanks in advance.
-JuDear Deyan,
Thanks for your help. We do have $WEBLOGIC_HOME/lib/solaris in LD_LIBRARY_PATH,
which is set when running ". setEnv.sh" before startWebLogic.sh.
We failed on one patch: 105210-27, for some reason.
The strange thing is: in the same machine, all WL60 instances running under user
accounts (under /users/developers/) have no such error. But it happens under some
account, like accounts under /export/home/, etc. /user/developers is mounted on
another physical machine.

You should have the $WEBLOGIC_HOME/lib/solaris directory in your LD_LIBRARY_PATH
so that
the server can load the performance pack (which is a shared library called
libmuxer.so).
If it is present then do a ldd libmuzer.so and you will see if any libraries
that it
depends on are missing.
Also make sure you have all of the requered patches for 2.6 installed.

Unable to load performance pack, using Java I/O instead
I'm writing because we're having some troubles with the performance pack load.
We're getting this error message when the server starts:
<Feb 1, 2005 11:30:26 AM CST> <Error> <Performance Pack> <Unable to load performance pack, using Java I/O instead.
Please ensure that libmuxer library is in /bea/jdk131/jre/bin/../lib/PA_RISC2.0/native_threads:/bea/jdk131/jre/bin/../lib/PA_RISC2.0/server:/bea/jdk131/jre/bin/../lib/PA_RISC2.0:/siven/shlib:/bea/wlserver/lib/hpux11:/bea/wlserver/lib/hpux11/oci816_8:/usr/lib
java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: getBuildTime
We have checked the following things:
1.- The library libmuxer.sl exists in the path: /bea/wlserver/lib/hpux11
2.- The file has the correct privileges so it can be read by the server
3.- We've run an 'nm -o libmuxter.sl |grep getBuildTime' to ensure that the method exists in the library
We have four managed servers running in the same machine and the error message apears only in one of them.
Any idea of what might be happening?
Does any one know on what OS librarys depends libmuxer.sl?
We're running WebLogic Server 6.1 SP6 on HP-UX 11.0That's very odd that the same machine has 4 servers and only 1 sees this
error.
I'm assuming they all have the same environment/user etc. If not,
that's the first thing you should check.
I wonder if this is a resource issue in the OS. If you start a 5th
server, does it also see this error? Is it the 4th server you start
that hits this error, or just one of the 4 you run?

Unable to load performance pack using JRockit 26.3 on Solaris 10
Hi all,
I'm getting the following error when starting up my WebLogic 9.1 server instance on Solaris 10. I've recently upgraded from Sun's JVM to JRockit 26.3. I do not get this error when using Sun's JVM.
<May 16, 2006 9:16:38 AM EDT> <Error> <Socket> <BEA-000438> <Unable to load performance pack. Using Java I/O instead. Here's the content of the /usr/local/bea91_dev1/weblogic91/server/native/solaris/sparc folder:
libfastfile.so libstackdump.so libwlfileio2.so
libjmsc.so libterminalio.so wlauth
libmuxer.so libweblogicunix1.so wlkeytool
libnodemanager.so libwlenv.so
I also have a sparc64 directory with the same file names.
Can anyone shed some light?
Regards,
DanielJRockit on Solaris is 64-bit so it needs the 64-bit performance pack files, so you need to have $WL_HOME/server/native/solaris/sparc64 in the LD_LIBRARY_PATH instead of $WL_HOME/server/native/solaris/sparc

Unable to load database connector - using JRC w/report connecting to Oracle
A simple Java program was created to test a Crystal Report using JRC. The Java program is a thick-client Swing desktop application (modified from an example of crxi_r2_migrating_rdc_to_jrc.pdf). The program failed to execute the report with the following error:
Unable to load database connector u2018com.crystaldecisions.reports.queryengine.driverImpl.DriverLoader'
It might be something simple to correct the problem, but I am not able to find related answers in the documentation and from the forum.
CR version is XI R2. The Java program was compiled and run using jdk1.4.2_13. Oracle is 10.2.
Do I have to use JDBC? or the CR Oracle driver will do? What needs to be setup? If I use JDBC, what do I need to setup (I tried to following the links in the forums or other documentation, but most of the links to http://support.businessobjects.com/.... are broken - i.e. re-route to the SAP support page but not directly linked to the articles)
When the report JRCTestReport.rpt was saved with the option "Save Data With Report", it works fine. So the problem is only with Oracle database driver, the other jars are fine.
In the report JRCTestReport.rpt the database properties are:
DatabaseDLL crdb_oralce.dll
Password
Server myTestDB
Trusted_Connection False
User ID MyUser
The crdb_oracle.dll is located at:
C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Common\3.5\bin

Xcelsius error: Unable to load URL while using QAAWS on XI 3.0.
Hi Experts,
I am getting "unable to load url" in xcelsius 2008 while importing a qaaws url.
After all the testing below are my observations:-
1) This has something to do with QAAWS.
2) When I logged into QAAWS and tried accessing the newly created url from the browser. It gave this error " can not communicate to the server mcc69u01:6400" but intrestingly the cms port is located at 6464 and not 6400.
3) For every other application like infoview and cmc it picks the correct port i.e. 6464.
4) Server is present on a UNIX box.
5) I read somewhere that I need to make changes in the dsws.properties file under war files folder. There I enetered "domain= mcc69u01:6464" and restarted TOMCAT.
6) After making this change I was unable to even log into QAAWS as it gave the error 02718 " you are not authorized to create query".
7) After reverting the changes now I am able to log into QAAWS and create new queries but the same problem persist.
8) TOMCAT is listening to port 8088 for our environment.
9) Tried the same thing from a different client machine with fairly new BO XI 3.0 client installation(same server) but no success.
I believe somehow QAAWS is not able to connect to the correct port 6464 and that is the reason for this issue.
Could anyone suggest what I should do???
Thanks in anticipation,
Anshulhi Anshul,
The QAAWSservletprincipal is not related to how you log into the server when creating queries
It is used when the queries are actually running, or when you are trying to load the query to a tool like Xcelsius. I had the same unable to load error and it was caused by the QAAWSservletprincipal being set to concurrent licence when my server was all named users.
I think the issue you are seeing is more likely a bug caused by hardcoded cms port, but I think it is worth ruling out.

Whenever I try to load any website using cloudflare in Firefox, I get this error message:
"Error 1000 DNS points to prohibited IP. You've requested a page on a website that is on the CloudFlare network. Unfortunately, it is resolving to an IP address that is creating a conflict within CloudFlare's system."
But the same sites load up fine with no problems in Safari. I've tried everything suggested in related support pages - cleared cache (my browser's set to do that on close anyway), cleared cookies, set to no proxy, disabled add-ons, etc. Nothing worked!
EDIT: Just noticed that 1 cloudflare page was able to load after disabling the add-on called "Modify Headers" v7.1.1 However, I don't know if this will work for all cloud flare sites. Unfortunately, I did not keep a list of sites that didn't load, so I can't test by loading them now. This is the dump from my ModifyHeaders settings:

Unable to load CSV data using APEX Data Load using Firefox/Safari on a MAC
I have APEX installed on a Windows XP machine connected to an 11g database on the same Windows XP machine.
While on the windows XP, using IE 7, I am able to successfully load a CSV spreadsheet of data using the APEX Data Load utility.
However, if I switch to my MacBook Pro running OS X leopard, then login into same APEX machine using Firefox 2 or 3 or Safari 3, then try to upload CSV data, it fails on the "Table Properties" step when it asks you for the name of the new table and then asks you to set table properties, the table properties just never appear (they do appear in IE 7 on Windows XP) and if you try to hit the NEXT button, you get error message: "1 error has occurred. At least one column must be specified to include in new table." and of course, you can't specify the any of the columns because there is nothing under SET TABLE PROPERTIES in the interface.
I also tried to load data with Firefox 2, Firefox 3 (beta), and Safari 3.1, but get same failed result on all three. If I return to the Windows XP machine and use IE 7.0, Data Load works just fine. I work in an ALL MAC environment, it was difficult to get a windows machine into my workplace, and all my end users will be using MACs. There is no current version of IE for the MAC, so I have to use Firefox or Safari.
Is there some option in Firefox or Safari that I can turn on so this Data Load feature will work on the MAC?
Thanks for your help. Any assistance appreciated.
TonyI managed to get this to work by saving the CSV file as Windows CSV (not DOS CSV), which allowed the CSV data to be read by Oracle running on Windows XP. I think the problem had to do with different character sets being used for CSV on MAC versus CSV on Windows. Maybe if I had created my windows XP Oracle database with Unicode as the default character set, I never would have experienced this problem.

Infact those members exist in the Outline.
Any help would be appreciated.Check for the double quotes (the one John mentioned). Also I can see that you are taking the approach of Data Load dimension. Is Data load dimension and driver members defined correctly in Planning?

Can anyone tell me what this error means, and if there is a fix or
workaround? Any help will be appreciated!
Thanks,
Tim PerrigoThis happens with WebLogic every time when Windows version changes:
in 1.3.1 system property "os.name" is "windows 2000" when running on XP, and
in 1.4 it is "windows XP". Since Windows names are hardcoded somewhere in
WebLogic,
and it doesn't know anything about Windows XP, it thinks that it is running
on Unix and
attempts to load Posix performance pack (as you can see in the exception
stacktrace).
You can fix this by adding -Dos.name="windows 2000" to the command line.

CAD Unable to load performace pack
Hi I'm unable to get the Posix performace pack to initialise properly.
<Performance Pack> Unable to load performance pack, using Java I/O.
I'm using SunOS stagexxx 5.7 Generic_106541-11 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-2

java version "1.3.0_02"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.3.0_02)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.3.0_02, mixed mode)
And Ideas?
I have also tried Weblogic 5.1 SP11 but get the same result.
Execute permissions are also set on libmuxer.soHi.
Hmm. What is your shared library path set to? Or better still, from your
weblogic.log file what is your java.library.path set to?
Your platform looks ok. Your JDK version may be a little off, but I'm not
sure if that would be the cause of this problem.

Michael

thank youWhat Michael means is that when the Performance Pack fails to load, the Java
version of the code will be used instead so that the server will continue to
function. If all you want to do is get rid of the error message, set the
following property in the weblogic.properties file:
weblogic.system.nativeIO.enable=false
If you are using Service Pack 8, your problem may be related to a known issue
with SP8 and certain platforms (HP-UX and AIX) not being able to load the
performance pack. Please contact technical support for more information.
Thanks,

You can do without it. It isn't ported to Tru64.What do you mean "do without it"?
The platform support page for WebLogic Server is located at:
http://www.weblogic.com/platforms/index.html
If I read the document in the link, WLS5.1 would support Tru64. Doesn't it
support posix perfromance pack? I mean how can I remove the posix
performance error?
I am using WLS5.1 sp6 and 8 on Tru64 V5.0A. But the documentation says
WLS5.1 work with Tru64 V4.0F. Does it mean that performance pack will not
work in my environment?
Have you seen people who succeed in executing performance pack with the same
environment as mine?
