Unable to load Virtual Lab on windows 8

Hi,
I'm trying to access Virtual Lab on Techlab using my brand new Windows 8-1, however, after downloading the .exe file. It was not able to connect to the Virtual Lab. It ask me to contact the vendor for the issue. I am connected to internet when I attempted
it, and tried 3 different locations but still the same.
Please advise.

    Hi all,
    I've been maintaining a LightSwitch desktop app for a couple of years now.  The app runs on a server and several client machines access it.  Sometime in the last few months, any client that has Windows Update enabled has failed to load data.  Instead
    it shows red crosses where the data should be and the tooltip, "Unable to load data. Please check your connection and try loading again."
    Other clients that don't have updates enabled are fine.  Has anyone else run into this issue?  Does anyone know how to resolve it?

    Thanks for your reply.  I've enabled diagnostics as described.  Here's what I find.
    When I load my LightSwitch screen, I get the following entry highlighted red in Fiddler:

  • Adobe Acrobat 8 unable to load plug-in in Window Vista

    I have developed a plug in for Adobe Acrobat, but Abode Acrobat unable to load the plug in. I try to troubleshoot the problem by putting a messagebox in the PIHandshake function.
    Noticed that, the function is not being called by Adobe Acrobat when Acrobat app is launched.
    When Adobe Acrobat is launching, I able to see the my plug in's name is display on the splash screen.
    Below is the environment info:
    a. Adobe Acrobat 8 Standard Version 8.1.3
    b. Window Vista Business
    I try to put a messagebox in function ACCB1 ASBool ACCB2 PIHandshake(Uns32 handshakeVersion, void *handshakeData), the Adobe Acrobat application didn't call this function.

    Findings:
    I use a sample plug-in, the acrobat is able to load it out. Then, I use depend.exe to compare the sample plug-in with my plug-in, I noticed that my plug-in does not have PlugInMain entry point function.
    The reason is I compile my plug-in as release version and did not put a command line /EXPORT:PlugInMain under [AppProject]->Properties->Linker->Command line.
    The second reason is my plugin - the one with the problem has been cached in VirtualStore directory, and i didn't realize it. Therefore, everytime i run acrobat app, it always load the old api (no PlugInMain) from the VirturalStore directory. After delete the old file. Then, Acrobat is able to load my new api from c:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 8.0\Acrobat\plug_ins.
    VirtualStore Directory:
    C:\Users\[User Name]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 8.0\Acrobat\plug_ins

    I have spent days trying to get "mypaychex.com" website to load after logging in using Windows 8.1/IE11. The site loads fine in Windows 7 and other browsers but I need it to work with IE 11/8.1. I have tried using compatibility mode, lowered all
    security settings, verified shockwave is enabled within the browser, tried various updates as well. I guess this can only be because flash is embedded now with 8.1. Is there a way to disable the Windows 8.1/IE11 embedded flash and have it use the player from
    Adobe instead? Anyone have any other suggestions I can try? Or is this a problem with the website itself not compatible? Any help would be appreciated. TIA

    but not IE11,
    and it also does not include Win8.1.
    The last review of that KB was Oct 15, 2013.
    Methinks MS should either
    update the article to include IE11, if appropriate, or
    create a new article that specifically applies to IE11.
    And perhaps TechNet Support folks could refrain from applying aged boilerplate answers that reference outdated and perhaps irrelevant KB articles, or explain knowledgably in their responses that, while the article appears to reference older versions, its
    steps are still appropriate to follow.
    I only mention this because, while there is a wealth of info and useful support at this site, everytime I look and try to specify what I'm using, inevitably and invariably more than half the hits on my query are for either outdated or totally irrelevant
    applications. Would that there were filter options (see Amazon searches, lefthand side of screen, where you can narrow things down considerably).

  • Unable to load Blackberry Desktop software windows 7 64-bit

    I am currently running Windows 7 64-bit SP1. I have tried to installed Blackberry Desktop software using 710_b042_multilanguage.exe from your site.
    Software appears to install without any problem. When I try to start up the software the blackberry splash screen appears without any issue. However after a short while a transparant window appears with Blackberry Desktop Software  on the title bar. I have Java 7.45.
    Any ideas why it doesnt appear to be loading correctly?

    It starts with a process for cleanly starting over, and there is some discussion, and there is also a post (15) with links to older Desktop Software versions, if those are needed.   • Unable to load itunes store in windows 7 64bit

    Hi, installed 10.5... on Windows 7, 64bit machine and now cannot access Itunes Store.  Appears to begin loading then stalls out.  Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling.  Tried running in compatibility mode.  Daughters laptop (same operating system, different manufacturer) is having the same problem.

    Close your iTunes,
    Go to command Prompt -
    (Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
    (Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
    In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
    netsh winsock reset
    Hit "ENTER" key
    Restart your computer.
    If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
    Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
    If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

I have completely uninstalled and then reinstalled iTunes. I have also completely reset my iTouch to factory defaults. I have even followed all the advice provided previously to other forum member with the same problem. Nothing seems to work. Please help me someone.

    Just started a few weeks back, Since then I have had two Itunes updates.
    Is this something Apple is aware of and trying to fix?

    I had gotten a similar problem, except with "provider services", i believe, but i solved it by copying sqlite3.dll from E:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support to E:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support. doing that solved my first problem, but now i have been getting the error described in this topic (unable to load dataclass info... etc.). i tried reinstalling itunes (i already had 9.1.1, and thats what i reinstalled) by using the method described on apples site (using the "remove programs" tool in the control panel) and then downloading and installing itunes. when i opened it again, i still got the same error, and just now i got an error saying "the instruction at "0x00aadb6b" referenced memory at "0x00000008". the memory could not be read" it gave me the option to cancel and debug, or to press ok and terminate the program. I tried pressing cancel, and the popup went away but nothing else happened. a minute later the popup was back, so i pressed ok and itunes quit. Upon opening Itunes again, i got the very same error. sorry for the long post, but its really been bugging me. thanks for any help you might give, and if you need anymore info, feel free to contact me.

  • Unable to load drivers on Windows 7 64 bit - HP OfficeJet Pro L7590

    Unable to load drivers on my PC, once worked after cleaning up my PC reloaded latest software from HP download.  Fails everytime via USB tried also direct network connect same result.  Tried uninstall and reinstall including trying to stop windows update from installing driver, this still happens from local directory.  Tried installing software with printer unplugged first, still not working.
    Any help would be great!

My Desktop computer is an HP p7 1030. Please help me...tried everything I know. Also, my HP printer will not print in blue. What should print out blue, comes out in a light red or pink. If it's supposed to come out red, it comes out in red, just fine. In addition, I've purchased new cartridges and many times I purchase the 940 XL and the cartridges don't last nearly what they are advertised to last. Very disappointing.     I have been able to use iTunes on my windows 7 pc for several years with no problem to sync calendar and contact with Outlook 2013; Suddenly I'm getting this error message.  iTunes recognises an iphone but I can't sync it.  I've tried uninstalling iTunes, Apple Software Update, Apple Mobile Device Support, Bonjour and Apple Application Support, rebooted the PC and reinstalled iTunes.  Nothing works.  Can anyone help please?
