Unable to locate all my Photo's
Currently all my photo's are available in 'Windows Live Photo Gallery' and each group of photo's is titled however I am unable to find these groups in Photoshop why is this and how do I locate them?
You need to import them into Organizer. Elements does not change the physical location of your files, it simply makes links to them.
Open Organizer and click File à get Photos & Videos à From Files & Folders
Then navigate to Pictures or My Pictures and press Ctrl+A to select all folders and sub-folders.
Then click open or get Media.
Wait for Elements to work, select and accept all suggested key words and wait whilst thumbnails are generated.

I am a Systems and Software Engineer based in Vancouver. I developed an automated test system using LabVIEW 2013 and TestStand 2013 with custom operator interface.
I encountered 'missing VIs' problem which is kind of weird because I passed analyzing the sequence for both TestStand Sequence Editor and TestStand Deployment Utility >> Distrubuted Files Tab.
But when I tried building the installer and reaching the point 'Calling distribution VIs, it always throw an error saying 'An error occurred while trying to read the depencies of the VIs, possible because the VIs are not saved in the current version of LabVIEW. Do you want to save any modified now?'. I tried both cases (i.e. Yes and No) for this option but it did not solve the issue.
This is part of the original error message displayed in TestStand Deployment Utility:
While Processing VIs...
Error: Unable to locate all subVIs from saved VIs because a subVI is missing or the VI is not saved in the current version of LabVIEW.
The call chain to missing VIs:
1 - ATE_AccelerometerTest.vi
2 - CreateAndMergeErrors.vi (missing)
3 - LogControl_CheckForErrorSendUpdates.vi (missing) "
All missing VIs are coming from userlib.
Actions Done:
- Analyzed sequence file using TestStand Sequence Editor and TestStand Deployment Utility
- Verified 'Search Directories' include all necessary files/dependencies.
- Mass compile the directory of the missing VIs
- Added all needed files and folders in the workspace file.
The result is still the same based from the actions done.
The last debugging I did earlier is that I tried locating the sequence and steps of missing VIs as mentioned above (e.g. ATE_AccelerometerTest.vi)
and I found out that the step seems to be an empty action step. Would this be possible even if it already passed the analysis?
Other considerations include:
I am using LabVIEW 2013 sp1 and TestStand 2013. We tried building from three (3) computers and we only succeeded once to a freshly-installed comptuer.

Hi All,
We were able to resolve the issue. First to note is that the release notes in TestStand 2013 is outdated and we confirmed from NI Engineer in Austin that TestStand 2013 works fine with LabVIEW 2013 SP1.
Secondly, we played around TestStand Deployment option that resolved the issue. Attached are the images.
We just enabled the 'Remove Unused VI Components'. It could be one of the libraries (lvlib) we included in the build but we haven't figured it out yet because we verified that all VIs are working. It could be also something else that I think very difficult to find based from the information. However, if anybody experienced the same issue, this could be helpful.
Again, we revert back in using TestStand 2013 and LabVIEW 2013 SP1.
I appreciate any comments and feedbacks. Otherwise, you can close this support request.

How do I locate all duplicate photos in iPhoto library?
I wish to delete all duplicate photos in my iPhoto (version 9.6) library. How can I id all duplicates in the library?
iPhoto does not have built-in tools to detect and remove duplicates, because the Import panel will show an alert, when you try to import duplicate photos.
If you managed to import the same photos twice, you can either remove them manually by sorting the photos by date, so duplicates will show side-by-side, or use third-party apps like iPhoto Library Manager, Photo Sweeper, etc.

if you are new to iPhoto, you may be assuming there are duplicate photos, because iPhoto will show the same photos in different views - the Events view, Photos View, Last Import, Albums, all will be showing the same photos in different arrangements, but these photos are not duplicates, just different ways to access the same photos. -
I am. Unable to sync all my photos from my iphone5 to my iPad despite buying additional storage and have checked all settings etc on both devices Help I want my china photos on my pad.....
You don't need additional iCloud storage to sync photos.
You need to sign in to iCloud with the same Apple ID on both devices and enable Photo Stream.
Settings > iCloud > Apple ID - sign in then enable Photo Stream.
Photo Stream holds 30 days of photos on the server so anything on either device older than that won't sync. Additionally, you can only hold 1000 Photo Stream photos on your iOS device (the oldest will be replaced with the newest). To preserve these photos, they need to be saved to your Camera Roll and transfered to your computer. -
I just backed up my 3gs iphone using itunes. All my photos and contacts have disappeared from my phone. I am unable to locate them on my computer. HELP!!!
OK, I understand. Try this ... it's much safer. It will simply restore your backup, but not do anything to your iOS:
While your iPhone is plugged in to iTunes, right click on the iPhone icon on the left side of the iTunes display.
Choose "Restore from backup ..." from the pop-up menu that appears.
Again, what this will do is place that backup back on your iPhone without changing iOS. So you should be very confident in the backup contents before doing this. -
Finder is unable to locate photos by Title, only by file name
I was able to locate all my pictures by simply typing words from the title (in fact I did that yesterday morning), but now Finder is unable to locate those files unless I search for the file name (For example: DSC005873.jpg). Why did it stop working? Any assistance will be greatly appreciated as it's a pain in the butt when you've got over 2000 photos.

Run repair disk from your software install DVD.

I have lightroom 5.7. Now I have apple TV to connect my Mac to the TV scree. I wish to do a slide show on the TV. However, on the Mac, using ITunes to share photos with the TV, I cannot locate all photo files. What is the best way to save the slide show and put it where the Mac sharing can find it? So far, I made on one folder in Lightroom, put some photos there and I found them easily. Can this be done with a slide show? Please help quickly! Also worried that the photos I put on the new folder are hard to find afterwards, when the show is done. Where do they go when I delete from from the new folder?I am not alone
Not that I'm aware of. You just export JPEG copies to a folder that you can point iTunes to. For instance, I have created a folder in my Pictures folder called Apple TV. And within that folder I have other folders of pictures that I can choose from in iTunes to share with Apple TV. But there doesn't seem to be any way to share a Lightroom slideshow. If you have laid to create a video file that would probably work. Apple TV is a little clunky in my opinion. Some things are a little more difficult to do now than they were a while back. I probably haven't provided you with much help, but just keep experimenting and I think you will figure it out.

All my photos on the MAC were in events named by me.
Now, with this upgrade, all my photos are without my event names and named by iphoto by date and location (sometimes incorrect). I do not like this at all. I want to return to my events. How can I do this??Moments in Photos are the new Events, i.e. groupings of photos sorted by date taken.
When the iPhoto Library was first migrated to Photos there was a folder created in the sidebar titled iPhoto Events and all migrated iPhoto Events (which are now Moments) are represented by an album in that folder. To open the sidebar if it's not already open use the Option+Command+S key combination.
There's a way to simulate events in Photos.
When new photos are imported into the Photos library go to the Last Import smart album, select all the photos and use the File ➙ New Album menu option or use the key combination Command+N. Name it as desired. It will appear just above the iPhoto Events folder where you can drag it into the iPhoto Events folder
When you click on the iPhoto Events folder you'll get a simulated iPhoto Events window.
The downside to the simulation is that the Albums/Events can only be sorted automatically by Title. But they can also be sorted manually, either in the sidebar or in the folder's window at the right.

Unable to see All Photos when changing wallpaper in iOS 8
I am unable to see All Photos when I'm changing the wallpaper in iOS 8. I can only see my Albums that I've synced from my computer and Recently Added. Is this is a bug, moved the feature or just some odd thing going on with my phone?
Workaround: I can go to the actual photo in the Photos app, select it and send it to "Use as Wallpaper"
Device: iPhone 5S 32GB CDMA
iOS: 8Geraldine
Try rebuilding the database, see if it helps:
Hold down the apple and option keys and launch iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild.

My phone was stolen, but I had no data left and so can't locate it till the person who has it tries to use the internet. I backed up all my photos on iCloud, and want to get them on my PC. I installed iCloud onto the PC and followed the instructions and still can't find my pictures, says my photostream folder is empty, but it shows on iCloud that i've used most of my storage which is true, so they must be there somewhere?
Any ideas? I'd really appreciate the help! ThanksYes, I filed police report, but there is nothing they can do until I get back to them on the tracking. It's been offline. I'm sure the whoever took it can find a way around breaking in the ipad..i really was hoping to get my pictures and videos of my kids back

Unable to view all photos in version 8.1.2. Can only see last 18 month.

Wild guess:
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

Just updated our iPad2 to iOS 7, and all my photos in camera rolls are gone, can't locate them anywhere. Were they just deleted, or is there a way to find them? Did not have iCloud account, so not backed-up there.
We're you backing up to a computer using iTunes? If so, restore the backup from there.

New PC. New solid sate OS and the new photo 1tb drive. the restore and convert seemed to go smoothly. all the photos loaded. the albums although are having issues finding file locations.@ !

Have already reset network settings, tried logging in manually by choosing "other networks" and putting my wifi name/password in, restarting, switching to airplane mode and searching for networks, all to no avail. No case on. Never dropped. I'm 4 feet away from the router. Any other suggestions?

I am unable to import all photos to IPhoto on computer. At a certain photo the following message appears: IPhoto cannot import your photos
because there was a problem downloading an image. How can I circumvent this particular image and import all other photos?I'm having the same issue. i have imported everything but the offending photo from my iPhone. problem is, with over 5000 pics, i have no idea how to find THAT ONE pic that won't import (bc I just get a greyed out pic image - with no data in iPhoto)
any idea how to get "date taken" info of THAT ONE pic out of iPhoto (or any metadata) so I don't have to search 3 years of pictures?
