Unable to locate Co data for co account assignment in EK02

Hi,
While creating entries in EK02 we are getting below error:-
"The system was unable to locate CO data for CO account assignment key XXXX". We are using profit center and segment reporting " and have maintained the necessary settings in "Define CO Account Assignment Keys" against company code , segment and profit center and also maintained cost element settings.
Any solution to resolve this error.

Hi Kumar,
Below are the configurations required in this regard.
1. maintain GL account and const element - FS00. You can check whether the GL maintained as P/L GL.
2. maintain the cost centre - KS01/02/03. Please verify all the details whether or not have been maintained correctly.
3. maintain EK01 (if required).
4. maintain EK02 - please double check whetheryou have CO account assignment 'X' in there.
5. maintain CO account assignemnt key in SPRO - Check whether correct cost centre is maintained against correct CoCd.
This would suffice.
Please let me know if you're stil facing the issue.

The only thing I can derive from this is that the issue is related to kerberos. Any suggestions?

SSH is enabled for all users on both Macs. Manually added diradmin aswell just to make me feel better.
Additionally, here's what I get when I try running preflight on either Mac:

Unable to find security data for sender

Hello, does anybody know what this message means. The problem appear when I send an Idoc to XI. Other interfaces (Master data) are working properly. My question is, do I need to make some extra settings for the transactional data interfaces (SHPMNT)?

Unable to locate Spring NamespaceHandler for XML schema namespace

I am not sure if this is the best practice approach but this is the problem I am ruining into. Below, I explain what I am doing:
1) What I am doing:

Based on the oracle incubator example (http://coherence.oracle.com/display/INCUBATOR/Processing+Pattern+Examples); I am running a server and submitting tasks through a proxy application that submits them to ProcessingPatternConfigurator; let's call my task processReport.
a) my processReport is using spring and ibatis together, I created a utility static class to obtain a spring context and retrieves beans using the following lines ( see exhibit "A1 and A2" below).
b) when my task calls the context and that spring loads, it is failing with the error show in exhibit "B".
I suspect I am missing a lib? I googled the error and searched you site but could find a meaningful discussion on it. I guess my question is if this is not the best approach, how do I integrated with spring initializing beans and setting up ibatis framwork, providing beans and database access through Ibatis for each task ruining on the grid (processReport).

My guess is that something is broken in the configuration of the cacheServer and its not finding
all of the dependencies that your process pattern application needs. Probably the best way
to debug this stuff is to define a static main in your runnable task which will make the call
to the run() method and invoke it as the main class using the identical settings (classpath,
run directory) that you are using to launch the Coherence cache server.

hi there, may i know how do u store data for an account individually.
let's say i have an application for all users. but i do have a log in module since i have a module where users can enter thier own information into the system like appoinments. since every account( owned by user) has different details, may i know how to design such system?

database?You can store all the information in the database you want and you can also retrieve it where ever and however you want.
Exactly how to do it depends on exactly what you want to do, so plz explain alittle bit more on what do you intend to do. :)

Upload Plan data for GL account

We want to upload plan data for the GL accounts so that the plan data shows with the actual data in the financial statement.
The question is what is name of the program/tcode
1. To upload plan data for GL accounts?
2. To upload plan data in the cost center accounting?
3. Most important - to transfer plan data from cost center accounting to GL accounts? Currently we have a custom program to upload plan data to CCA.

You can plan at GL level using T code GP12N, Planning profile SAPFIGL & summary table GLT0. You will have to define plan version & planning period in t code OBP6.
Once plan is entered the same will be available in FI reports e.g. F.01
For Cost center plan use t code KP06. Alternatively you can activate excel integration for planning profile and upload from excel.

Generated classes are archived in a jar file containing its jaxb.properties, when
I test it
in a classic java process it runs well.
When I try to do it in an EJB with weblogic 8.1 I get the following error:
javax.xml.bind.JAXBException: Unable to locate jaxb.properties for package
I've checked:
- jaxb.properties is in the archive file
I've tried to put the jar file in the classpath of the server in the starter script.
I've tried to put reference classpath in the manifest of the ejb jar and of application
ear.
I've tried to put both reference in server classpath and ear/jar manifest.
I still doesn't run.
Any idea?

JAXB: Unable to locate jaxb.properties for package com.globalrefund.jaxb

When I package my classes into a jar and try to run my app with
java -jar myapp.jar
I get "Unable to locate jaxb.properties for package com.globalrefund.jaxb"
Everything works fine when I run my app by setting the classpath followed by "java com.globalrefund.MainClass".
"jaxb.properties" is in the jar in the directory "com.globalrefund.jaxb". I use JRE 1.4.1.
What's wrong?

a little additional info:
It works when I put jaxb.properties in the directory com.globalrefund.jaxb and let classpath point to the root of the directory structure.
If I create a jar containing exactly the same directory structure and add the jar to the classpath it does not work.
Looks like JAXB cannot read jaxb.properties from a jar?!
Any ideas?

Unable to get tha data for Residual Order Plan query-0PS_C04_Q0008

i have activated standard query-0PS_C04_Q0008.
But when i am executing the query i am unable to get the data for "Residual order plan" in the report output..
As i checked the transformation and the queries for this, every thing seems ok.
Could please suggest me the best way to check further or How can i get the data for this field?

GR and GR Non Val indicator in R/3 PO for multiple account assigned SC's

Hi,
We are on SRM 3.0(EBP 4.0) and R/3 4.7.
We have implemented the BBP_CREATE_PO_BACK badi for setting or clearing the GR and IR indicators under certian conditions.
But for Multiple account assigned SC's we get an error message "06181 With non-valuated GR, please also enter GR i ndicator ".
We have tried implementing note# 872000, but this has not solved the issue.
The PO's get created only if we force the GR indicator when transferring the data into R/3.
It seems clear that while creating the PO the system is encountering the GR Non Val indicator but not the GR indicator, so its throwing the error message (we get the same error message when we create the PO from R/3 with GRnon val indicator checked and GR ind unchecked).
The proposed solution is that in the same BADI, along with clearing the GR indicator, we will also clear the GR non val indicator.
This can solve the issue if the indicators are transferred as it is from EBP.
But can anyone tell me if these indicators are also checked/changed in any FM/program in R/3 before the PO is created?
Is there any customizing setting which is affecting this particular behaviour?

System don`t check an order number for CO account assignment

I have this problem. When I creta a sales order in CRM and then system creates as a follow up document a sales order in SD system don`t check an order number for CO account assignment. If I want to create a sales order not as a follow up document, but directly in transaction VA01 and I use exactly the same data system gives me a message " The CO account assignment object belongs to company code X, not Y
You want to make a posting in company code Y.
At the same time, a CO account assignment object was specified that is assigned to company code X.
This is account assignment object with object type ORD, and object key 1xxxxxxxxxxx...".
My question is why system don`t check order number when a sales order in SD is created as a follow up document and what should I do to correct this.

Cost Distribution in Shopping Cart for different account assignment type

Hi friends,
We are at SRM Server 5.5 at level SAPKIBKT07. Business scenario is extended classic.
User is creating a shopping cart with single line item and distributing the cost to multiple account assignments (say Cost Center and Order). Shopping cart has a valid source of supply. System creates a PO in SRM and tryu2019s to replicate the PO in ECC backend, however fails to replicate.
My understanding is that in ECC backend it is not possible to combine two different account assignments while distributing cost at item details.
Solution would be to create separate line items for different account assignments (distribute between similar account assignments).
Is my understanding right?

I am also MM consultant, so as far as MM goes we can only maintain one account assignment type per line item. In MM we have provision of multiple account assignment but it works only for single account assignment type per line item. Which means if account assignment is "k" then we can split between multiple cost centers, but we cannot split between cost center and WBS element in one line item.
You said it is possible to split between multiple account assignments in one line item. Will it be possible for you to try at your end and let me know how PO/PR are created in backend?

GR/IR Rounding Logic for Multiple Account Assignment

We have activated business function LOG_MM_MAA_1 (EHP4 release 604), GR valuated. When choosing Distribution on quantity basis and distribute partial inv proportionally, the MIGO postings are different from the MIRO postings. For example, we have a quantity of 12 that we allocate to two different cost centers 33.3 / 66.7 %. We receive a partial qty of 5. MIGO distributes the quantity 1.665 / 3.335, respectively. However, MIRO distributes the quantity 1.666 / 3.333 respectively. Since MIRO is supposed to accept the MIGO quantities and amounts, why is the percentage allocation different? Is there a way to make the percentages equal for MIGO / MIRO? Modification of the percentage field (VPROZ) in the PO to more than 1 decimal is not an option.

    PO (quantity-based distribution, partial inv is proportional: Receive partial Qty 5 of total 12
                         Net Value            Qty              Percen           MIGO           MIRO

The small difference of $0.29 for this example is inconsequential, but for larger quantieis it will have a greater impact on the account allocation.

U set or U dont set system will flag the GR non valuated once u assign multiple account assignment.
But SAP is coming up with GR valuated for Multiple account assignment in enhancement package 4.

LinkTax Code for particular Account Assignment

Hi Gurus,
Does anybody knows if is possible assign a particular Tax Code, depending on which account assignment I selected?
For Example, if I select Account Assignment A, the system assign Tax Code I1.
if I select Account Assignment K, the system assign Tax Code E1.

have you assigned the tax codes for your country, i mean go to SPRO - fianancial accountingnew- financial accounting global settings-taxes on sales and purchases and check tax codes for sales and purchases it will be specific for your country and assign tax codes.
then go to the tab posting and there you can assign the tax codes for your account assignment category. this is done with respect to the chart of accounts.

End-date for EBS account for Re-hires

I am facing a weird issue.
We have configured EBS connector which is working fine for all new users. But in case of new hires, the END-DATE on EBS account is not getting changed. But it is getting changed on EBS process form. I did not see any errors in the log to trace the issue.
Please help me out.

locate the EBSUM jar,java class and method being called for this task and extract jar to verify the OOTB code, I don't remember exactly but this code issue. verify this using decompiler.
If you check the ootb updateuser method(ORCL_EBS_UM_9.1.0.7.0\lib\EBSUM\oracle\iam\connectors\ebs\usermgmt\integration\EBSUserManagement.jar), enddate pass as s7 and this is not being considered for update. this is bug with connector you can raise SR to oracle or try below( which I applied earlier)
write a java code to update end date directly into ebs database.
1. remove the existing adapter and attach your custom adapter where pass username,effective date to, ebs database login detail( already you have in the itresource pass the same here.
2. now write a java code and do below step
a) connect to database using normal sql connection
b) executeUpdate method to update end date ( update fnd_user where set eff_date_to=to_date(enddate,'format') where username=user) something like this.
before doing above login to ebs db using apps user and describe the fnd_user table and see the exact attribute name.
