Unable to locate DE component

The reports builder on my machine was working fine till lastweek & all of a sudden it starts giving me this error.
The only change that happened was I moved from one building to a new building all of which are in the same network.
Not sure if its a network related issue, can anyone plz help ?

Hello,
A DLL called DE.DLL is required by the Reports Builder
-> Check if this DLL exists in ORACLE_HOME/bin
If it exists, create a BAT file to start trhe reports builder :
Example of BAT file :
set ORACLE_HOME=d:\oracle\ods1012
set CLASSPATH=
set PATH=%ORACLE_HOME%\jdk\jre\bin\classic;%ORACLE_HOME%\jdk\jre\bin;%ORACLE_HOME%\jdk\jre\bin\client;%ORACLE_HOME%\jlib;ORACLE_HOME% \bin;%ORACLE_HOME%\jdk\bin;%ORACLE_HOME%\jre\1.4.2\bin\client;%ORACLE_HOME%\jre\1.4.2\bin;

I uninstalled and reinstalled and still getting same error message: iTunes exe unable to locate component. This application has failed to start because MSVCR80.DLL was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.  I've done it several times and still get the error.  I'm fearful I have lost all my music.  What can I do?

  • Everytime I turn on my computer running on Windows XP, a message appears from AppleSynchNotifier.exe-Unable to locate component - "this application has failed to start because CoreFoundation .dll was not found," Reinstalling did not fix problem.

    Everytime I turn on my computer running on Windows XP, a message appears from AppleSynchNotifier.exe - Unable to Locate Component -
    "This application has failed to start because CoreFoundation.dll was not found.  Re-installing the application may fix this problem.
    I uninstalled and re-installed itunes and the message still appears.
    How do I fix this??
    Thank you

    With that one, first try uninstalling and reinstalling your MobileMe Control Panel for Windows, robin. Does that make the error go away?

  • HT1926 Have the same problem as many other users: tried to update iTunes on Windows 7 today; first message "unable to locate component- MSVCR80.dll was not found" then "iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes - Error 7 (Windows error 1

    I have the same problem as many other users: updated iTunes on Windows 7 on Jan 26, 2014 and iTunes does not open.  First message "unable to locate component- MSVCR80.dll was not found" then "iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes - Error 7 (Windows error 126)". When will Apple fix this? Don’t feel like uninstalling all Apple software and then re-installing it as suggested, as I am on a terribly slow internet connection while travelling in the DR Congo.

    Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
    Remove all of these items in the following order:
    iTunes
    Apple Software Update
    Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall press on)
    Bonjour
    Apple Application Support
    Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
    The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.
    Please note:
    Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.

    Tried reloading my Airport Extreme CD, but no luck.
    Googled this error & got nowhere.  How can i get fix this annoying error message?

    Which Bonjour were you using, daniel? The Bonjour Print Services type, or the one that comes bundled with iTunes?

  • After a failed itunes update I attempted to open itunes and received a message "unable to locate component MSVCR80.clll, as well as an error message "Error 7 (Windows error 126).  I was told to reinstall itunes, which I did, then received the same message

    That DLL is part of your printer driver; reinstall or update the device driver for your printer, and the message should go away.

    I hope it doesn't effect how I down load my itunes to my ipod and iphone.
    No you should be fine. (The MobileMe service is being shut down, anyway, so there should be no impact at all.)

  • Unable to locate specified base class 'resources.style1.HelpButtonIcon' for component class

    Hi,
    I have a Flex (4.1.0) project, which has many skinnable custom components. The application allows a user to choose another style which changes these skins via loading a new compiled CSS. These non-default skins are in a separate Flex project.  I've not had a problem with this method until now.
    The custom component I am skinning contains several icons which are defined in the component like this:
    [SkinPart(required="true", type="mx.core.IVisualElement")]
    public var componentIconHelp:IFactory;
    then I use the iconRendererFunction to return the appropriate component part:
    private function iconRendererFunction(item:Object):IFactory
         //truncated method
         return componentIconHelp;
    Within the skin for "style1", I then have
    <s:Skin xmlns:fx="http://ns.adobe.com/mxml/2009"
         xmlns:s="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark"
         xmlns:mx="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/mx"
         xmlns:style1="resources.style1.*">
    <!-- host component -->
    <fx:Metadata>
         [HostComponent("myApp.components.ButtonComponent")]
    </fx:Metadata>
    <fx:Declarations>
         <fx:Component id="componentIconHelp">
              <style1:HelpButtonIcon />
         </fx:Component>
    </Declarations>
    When I try to compile this, I get the "Unable to locate specified base class 'resources.style1.HelpButtonIcon' for component class 'resources.style1.ButtonComponentSkinInnerClass0'" error.
    If I remove the HelpButtonIcon from the <fx:Component> declaration, and just put it in the main body of the skin, it compiles and renders, but I need it to be a component (there's multiple components I have to choose from to display, similar to the ButtonBar skin).
    Any ideas why it's not compiling and what I need to do to achive this?
    Thanks

    Thanks, one step closer (or further away :-)
    I tried adding the airspark.swc to the library path for the project and it made no difference so I added:
    -external-library-path /Applications/Adobe Flash Builder 4/sdks/4.0.0/frameworks/libs/air/airspark.swc
    to the external tools configuration and now get the error:
    command line: Error: unable to open 'Flash'
    The project itself runs fine, it's only the ASDocs that's causing problems.

  • Error on boot: "STOP c0000135 unable to locate component csrsrv.dll not found reinstalling the application may fix the problem"

    I am running Windows Server 2003 R2 (I know it's old, I'm in the process of upgrading it now to 2012) on an old HP ProLiant server. It's worked for ages, but yesterday morning it booted up with the blue screen of death, saying:
    STOP c0000135 unable to locate component csrsrv.dll not found. Reinstalling the application may fix the problem.
    I have tried coping the file from C:\WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles\i386\csrsrv.dll to C:\WINDOWS\system32\ using a WS2003R2 recovery disk, but it still doesn't work. I'm not sure what to do now...
    I do have backups, but I'd prefer just to get this server back up and running so that I can continue to migration so that I can decommission it permanently and put it out to pasture...
    Any help and guidance is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance!

    If copying the DLL does not help then I would recommend doing a system state restore from a backup.

  • Premiere Elements 2.0 UNABLE TO LOCATE COMPONENT

    I've restarted my computer several times this morning in hopes that the serious error message will go away - I go to burn a dvd and the microsoft msg pops up to report a problem. Also, when I restart my computer, I get the following message.
    apdproxy.exe Unable To Locate Component
    This application has failed to start because ConnAPI.DLL was not found.
    Re-installing the application may fix this problem.
    Then I have to hit 'OK'.

    If the above doesn’t do the trick entirely, then use the instructions in the following as it applies to the version of Windows you are using:
    HT1925: Removing and Reinstalling iTunes for Windows XP

  • Unable to Locate Component (vafxu.DLL)

    I'm trying to get an answer for a friend with Windows XP and an iTunes problem he is having. Here are the details:
    A couple times after starting iTunes, i've gotten this error:
    4f8: iTunes.exe - Unable to Locate Component
    This application has failed to start because vafxu.DLL was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.
    I have re-installed iTunes...it didn't fix it. I still get the error message BUT it still boots up and runs like it should. What is vafxu.dll and where can I get it?
    I've done a search using Google but didn't come up with any answers. I didn't find anything here using search so I thought I would post this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    That error is because you've removed part (but not all) of your TWAIN device driver software.
    Some camera or scanner installed it's drivers, but somehow parts of the drivers have been lost.
    You can solve this by reinstalling the drivers, or by disabling the TWAIN plugin in Photoshop so it'll stop trying to work with TWAIN drivers (Note that you still might have problems in other applications that also use TWAIN drivers).
